Ngl when I think of “William Afton not a serial killer” AUs I imagine William Afton as a father to his children being like a far less loving and caring Goofy à la a Goofy Movie. Like if Goofy hit Max with a newspaper whenever Max acted out but instead of Max it’s Michael when William has to get him out of trouble

Or Like instead of accidentally planning a trip that Michael doesn’t wanna go on, William would just force him to go on a lame road trip to IDAHO 😱 and make him and his siblings fish for a week instead of letting him attend a party w his pals lol

Michael has fears of ending up just like his father just like Max except Max is afraid of looking and acting like his goofy ass dad while Michael risks repeating an abusive cycle in canon 😭 IDK I’m just spewing thoughts now bc I love a Goofy Movie

Because of the movie I decided I’d delve more into my version of Michael. There are no spoilers for the movie involved here, as this is my own interpretation of him.

A charming and intelligent individual, Michael uses these traits to mask a darker side that manifests into his worst mistakes. Seeking approval from his father, Michael has a violent and aggressive nature hidden beneath a mask of wit and delight—underneath it all is a fragile and frightened child haunted by nightmares who seeks love from the one stable figure in his life, the serial killer William Afton.

In my canon, Michael goes down 3 possible paths after Charlie and CC have died. In the first, ashamed from his actions after the bite, Michael wants to disassociate from his father’s shadow, beginning with the fact that he keeps his hair long so as not to look like him. He wants to deviate away from the bloody history of Fazbear entertainment and wants to do something else with his life, but doesn’t know what or how he wants to live that life. He stays next to his father and acts as his reluctant follower so that he won’t be killed too.

In the second, Michael idolizes his father and takes after his cold and evil nature. He enjoys being compared to his father and proudly lives within his father’s shadow, even desiring to take over his businesses and work. Family means little to him aside from his father, thus he does not carry the guilt or burden his other lives experience due to the deaths of his friends and siblings.

In the 3rd, Michael ran away on the fifth night of his first week of work, tasked with finding his sister and not knowing it would lead to a near-death experience. He took the maiden name of his most-hated stepmother to escape his history and his mistakes, and struggles to fend for himself without his father’s help. Haunted by his siblings, Michael wants to move on from his trauma and make something new from his life, but unfortunately, the ghosts that follow him will only corrupt the new life he builds.

I don’t really remember what the AU was about just that Fazbear Entertainment became, like, a toy company. I do remember now that William made automaton, not dolls 😭 and he and Henry made a bunch of automaton that got them invited to all these fancy shindigs to show them off …

I’ll definitely be exploring this au in the future again, but just saying it was a crossover fic—I included a bunch of my interests in it, not just FNAF cause I’m CRAZY like that

Fancy William and Michael I suppose, probably for a regency era or whatever they’re called. I do recall William was a deeply respected doll maker and Michael was heir to his toy company, and I think William was making dolls from his victims à la Mad Father. But I don’t remember anymore 😭

Rating Assassin’s Creed main antagonists!

NOTE: THIS IS MY OPINION AND BASED OFF MY OWN EXPERIENCES PLAYING THE GAMES! Also, I didn’t play Unity or the games beyond Odyssey because I’m poor. 💔

Al Mualim: 9/10

Incredible twist villain in which he is supposed to be your guide and mentor but he ends up corrupted by power and idealism. I think his writing was well done, and his goals were understandable even at his own end.

Rodrigo Borgia: 7/10

I think he was really interesting in theory but he wasn’t present enough in AC2 to leave a major impression on me. I think he was far more interesting in AC Brotherhood, wherein he tried to maintain his power instead of further build upon it only for Cesare to ruin it all. Also, extra point because I love how the ending of AC2 is fighting the Pope, that’s just hilarious to me

Cesare Borgia: 6/10

I hate everything about him and that’s what makes him awesome to me. I just love to see him lose. This is a guy who let power get to his head and didn’t realize what the consequences were until they pushed him off a cliff. Incredible villain who gets his comeuppance. Subtracted points because I hate incest, would’ve been 8/10

Prince Ahmet: 6/10

An interesting idea in theory but he wasn’t present enough for me to become very interested in him as a character. I was very fond of most characters in Revelations but Ahmet is probably the weakest part of it all. He isn’t a bad or poorly written guy, I just wish he and Ezio had more interactions prior to his reveal as a twist villain.

Haytham Kenway: 10,000/10

I’m definitely biased because I wanna run this man over like a lawn mower but like he is also just a fantastically written character with a lot of nuance and potential and I wish they gave us more of him. He’s a present figure, and even when he isn’t physically present his shadow lurks over Connor even after his death. He makes you question the validity and integrity of both the Assassins and Templars. Absolutely fantastic character. I still hate him

Governor Torres: 3/10

Wasn’t very present, not enough for me to gaf anyway. I remember Edward Thatch more. Fuuuuuck Black Flag is so good dude but like the villains are boring I’m sorry. Off topic but my favorite quote is “in a world without gold we would’ve been heroes”. Anyway boring ass villain, cool design ig

Madeleine de L’Isle: 6/10

Honestly? I really enjoyed her story in how she tried to manipulate Aveline into joining the Templars, knowing all along that Aveline was her enemy but wanting her to join her anyway. I subtracted points because she orchestrated a slave trade network though, would’ve been an 8/10

I’m not getting to de Fayet. But I loved Freedom Cry it just…yea no.

I couldn’t play Unity

Crawford Starrick: 7/10

Crazy. That’s all I can say. Like he’s just crazy. But like a less crazy version of Cesare Borgia. I do like crazy villains tho

Flavius Metellus: 2/10

??? This guy gets completely overshadowed by everyone else and he’s supposed to be the main antagonist. He’s more boring than Torres because at least Torres was introduced in the beginning. I guess that’s kind of the point since Bayek and Aya had no idea who their son’s killer was but he feels incredibly shoehorned in and his influence is barely felt.

Lucius Septimius: 3/10

I only include him because his memory corridor scene and the final battle while playing as Aya is soooooo fucking cool. Again, a terrible guy you love to see lose.

And that’s all I got up to. I don’t rlly count Deimos here but for those curious, I’d give Deimos a 7/10 because I like Kassandra and Alexios. Have a great day guys ♥️ let me know your thoughts if you wanna share! Keep it kind and respectful ♥️
