Infinity Nikki to TS3 - Endless Longing hair

One more sucessful IN conversion yay!! And with minimal transparency issues yayy!! This hair is from a free chinese set we got from chinese new year, and I thought it was quite versatile to have it in the sims.

2 versions: with acc in hat section and without acc (because this time TSRW didn't let me make a preset with the acc transparent)

Separate accessory is also available, has 3 recolor channels and it's compatible with hat sliders.

The "fun" in both SN and IN meshes is that the UV mapping is crazy! I couldn't make the regular EA control work with this one, so I put a beaverhausenx-like control '-'

Shining Nikki to TS3 - Bat Accessory Set

The last Simblreen gift! It was another that was since last year sitting in my wip folder, and it's a cute addition to our cluttered accessory tab!

Shining Nikki to TS3 - Vibrant Energy hair

There I was, once again fiddling with my Nikki sim, when I went to set her gym outfit, wanted a ponytail with bangs that looked good on her, and as usual the ones available in the "marked" didn't. Then once again I went to grab one from SN praying for it not be a nightmare to convert, and voilà!

Shining Nikki to TS3 - Cascading Moonlight Hair

This is one of my fave SN hairs, I used it all the time there, I'm so glad I was able to find its mesh to convert it ^^ I ended up making it a bit shorter than the original to avoid more issues with it.

Known issues: some transparency issues on the back and in side view (it honestly didn't bother me while on the photoshoot for this preview, and I'm that kind of perfectionist freak, and I've seen hair with worse💀), also the bone assignment ain't the best even tho I tried to improve it by hand on blender, so it still might clip and have some weird distortions in extreme poses.

The control:

Now, the issues:

All versions have a bit of transparency issue on the left pigtail. And boy I did all I could to get rid or, at least, minimize it. Also The child and toddler ones got a little bit of transparency on the scalp part but it's almost unoticeable (why? I have no idea, since it's the same mesh and all I did was to resize and readjust to their heads).

And the conversion rambling:

As I said above, I couldn't get rid of the transparency on the left pigtail no matter what, once again I was pulling my actual hair separating each hair strand and it only got worse. The weird thing tho, is that the when I did the underside of the scalp part, even placing it in the correct order, got a abomination like that:

So I ended up returning to blender and better adjusting the scalp to the nape so we could have no gaps, and got rid of the underside of this part. The good thing is that this ended up chopping some polys out ^^

Shining Nikki to TS3 - Spring Forest

(aka the hair from Yexiao's Mind Maze set, if you're familiar with the game)

Soooo here's my somewhat successful very first conversion of a mesh to TS3! I know it's not 100% but it's a start ^^

A huge thanks to @deniisu-sims who helped me with the texture (while I was trying to remap the whole mesh like the dumbass that I am lol) and with Milkshape :)

Known Issues:

Due to the way the original mesh was mapped, the UV map is quite a mess 🙃 And it will be like that for all the upcoming SN conversions I want to do in the future since they all use the same texture/alpha.

There's also those tiny gaps on the mesh that I have no idea of how they got there? But they're mostly visible on CAS or from extreme angles like the 4th pic. There's also some minor transparency issue I wasn't able to fix without tearing the whole mesh apart and that little dark thing that appeared after using the Normal Data Merge tool.

Also there's no fat morph for this one, sorry. Since only the strands near the cheek needed to be morphed, I didn't made it for now. Probably in the future I'll do that. This is how it looks with the fat slider on max.

Shining Nikki Eyes Conversion for TS3

This one is the regular eyes found on Shining Nikki, in the game it has several recolours etc, and now you can have it for your sims too :)

They're on the same size of EA's eyes so it can keep the "anime" look it has originally

With 3 channels

Non-default, you can find it in the costume makeup tab

EA controls ended up like that, and I also ended up using the same texture I did for Spring Forest.

And due to the bone assignment it looks like that in some poses, but it was the best result I got while copying the assignments from other CC meshes (note that even the meshs from seasoned creators ends up having some sort of distortion, so bear with me uwu)

Infinity Nikki to TS3 - Cloud Reverie Wings

When this set came out I knew I had to convert it for Sims 3!

Known "issues":

They all float a little from the back. In Infinity Nikki, they behave like that too, I believe to avoid clipping with other clothing pieces.

Finally I finish these!!! The progress is smooth but there're 4 variations (with 4 groups of hat chops and lods) so I delayed so looooong, they totally drove me dizzy XD . And I think the hairlines are a bit high for some sims, so I add a bangs acc (desparated from an old hair) I swear the rhea hairs work well with other bangs *^▽^*

Btw the hairs are a little "thin", that means they may look not very good from other angles .. I think <33

hi everyone! today i bring you a collab with my good friend @lechairschair ! we decided to make something inspired by the north as our theme! i this dress is actually my first ever working frankenmesh dress :) im very very happy to have finally made 'my own' mesh!

In the 12th May update The Sims 4 introduced a new CAS category dedicated to accessory tops, called Base Layer. This way you no longer have to give up on gloves if your sim wants to wear a CC accessory top. (Originally all my accessory tops and chains were located under the Gloves catalogue so your sim couln't wear them at the same time. Downloading the new updated versions is not a necessity, if you like them located under the gloves section or you haven't updated your game to this patch yet you can ignore this post! ^^ )

After making a poll checking preferences, I decided to make a new, standalone version of my already existing accessory tops and body chains located under this new category. This way you can have the old (gloves) version and new (base layer) version at the same time and I noticed you can even layer two accessories this way hehe but if you no longer need the old gloves category version, you have to manually delete it. The file name changed the following way - I added the BaseLayerUpdate suffix to the original filename. Example:

Trillyke_Superstar_Waist_Chain_Belts.package - old file, located under the Gloves section Trillyke_Superstar_Waist_Chain_Belts_BaseLayerUpdate.package - new file in this bundle, located under the new base layer catalogue

Accessories like sleeve accessories and arm warmers I didn't touch, I feel they still fit more under the gloves section. Accessory chains however I updated, bodychains will be layered under tops, while waist and belly chains will be layered over clothing, as originally intended. Not on the preview, but I also updated the two male frame accessory tops I made in the past.

The file is a ZIP file containing 38 package files, make sure you unzip it and move everything to your Mods folder! ✨
