I really wish more attention was paid to the psychological effects of migraines because, let me tell you, the debilitating depression I experience during a migraine attack to postdrome euphoria coupled with the crash back into depression as my brain tries to figure out what the fresh fuck just happened to it will never stop being a rollercoaster.

A migraine is a full-on neurological event. Of course, it's going to affect mood! Why have none of the mental healthcare providers I've spoken to over the years know this? (I know, I know, because it's just a "bad headache," yadda yadda. Fucking bullshit.)
