with the conclusion of 2017, i will have had this muse for almost a year, which comes to me as a pleasant surprise. i did not anticipate that i would love dazai as much as i do now, and i am delighted that the product of one of my fleeting impulses in january has evolved into such a lovely space over time. beyond my laptop or my phone, this year was a year of remarkable transformation for me. when i moved to new york city to attend my first semester of university, i found a new home, met new friends, and tried new experiences — all of which demanded courage that i confess i’ve never needed before. but throughout the chaos that was my new life, this blog has always been a reassuring constant, and my followers have always been a greatly appreciated source of love and support. i couldn’t be more grateful to have everyone’s company in this adventure, and hope to continue inventing stories with all of you for years to come. thanks for everything, and here’s to a golden 2018.
