aj: "old man puppy energy, that's my favourite"
*cuts to punk*
look at his fucking face. he's thinking the exact same thing when she says that. he is the old man puppy
Do you guys think the fact that Helios calls Ruby "Ojou" and likes her because of her whole princess schtick hurts Palmer in a specific kind of way? She's still a Mejiro after all. She can totally give Helios the royal lifestyle, take her to the Mejiro state, have expensive tea together, that kind of thing. Idk.
Thisssss! I think this is such an interesting aspect of Palmer and Helios’s relationship. But I think it’s a little bit deeper than op mentioned.
Palmer is only the way she is because of Helios. Before they met, Palmer was stuck attempting to play the role of the perfect Mejiro and constantly failing because that just isn’t who she is. Then she met Helios and through their friendship she learned to prioritize herself and began to actually think about what she wanted for the first time. Not as a Mejiro, but as Palmer.
Helios changed her, she is reflected heavily in a large part of Palmer’s identity. The way Palmer talks, her hobbies, her friendships with the other gyarus, the clothes she wears, etc.
But then she sees Helios pining after Ruby, a girl so similar to what she was supposed to be. To the expectation she consistently failed to realize. And she can’t help but wonder. Would Helios like her more if she was like Ruby? If she was unhappy?
Ruby’s existence is just a constant reminder of her failure to live up to her family’s expectations. And her failure to maintain the attention of the person who means the most to her.
How much of herself would she have to give up to obtain Helios’s affections? And would it really be worth it? Being without her is killing Palmer, but changing herself probably would too.
It seems she just can’t win.
girl with ptsd voice: hey, so something really bad is gonna happen, right? you guys are picking up on that too, yeah? The other shoe is about to drop, I just know it.

I mean I get it, but they both need to lock in, they have girlfriends.
Not that those two idiots would even stand a chance with Gentildonna

If there was an Umamusume fighting game, who is the undisputed top tier and who is absolutely unplayable
Ohhh... that depends on so many factors!! I could see someone like curren chan being a top tier, though!
I have no clue who'd be unplayable though, it'd probably just be someone who got unlucky.
Opera O and Agnes Tachyon would be top tier and Gold Ship would have an absurdly annoying gimmick making her mostly unplayable besides that one guy that makes her B-A tier somehow
casual line of dialogue from a girl whose irl year-long winning streak was criticized for making races boring. which could mean nothing
Family in Buffalo genuinely just asked me if I would rather go to “Adolf’s” or “Nine Eleven” for lunch and they were being completely sincere
Serious question for like, the 5 people who are gonna see this, BUT
When you think of a Chinese dragon, do you think about the horns? Is that a defining characteristic to you?
