I made a couple brushes for Sai2!

The first two are an attempt to recreate CSP's default chalk and charcoal brushes, and the third one is a recreation of the splatoon style square brush.

By default the splatoon one is textureless, but almost any texture will look nice when doing the hair coloring. Adjust the density to your liking.

Sai 2's fancier brush engine may run a little slow on older computers, so if anyone can let me know if these are laggy for you, I'd appreciate it! But I think they should be ok 🤔..

PS: If they act weird i think I forgot to set angle control to None instead of Auto!

Hi, sorry this took me one million days to reply to. I mostly draw in Paint Tool SAI 2. Here are my brush settings:

+ Photoshop. I also searched up "free watercolor brushes" and easily found some absolute gems, recommend doing that

my canvas sizes are usually around 2000x2000px

oh my goodness that ryis preview is GORGEOUS!!! I know you get asked about your brushes all the time, so sorry to add to that, but are you using your usual brushes for that portrait? Just that bit looks fantastic!! (but so does the rest of your art honestly!!)

no worries! :D you're actually dead-on - i swapped to some looser brushes recently to help get my flow back!

the main two different brushes i'm using are from the "T-marker Wind Brush Set (Tマーカー風ブラシセット)" (clip studio ID: 1692034) AND a random square texture brush downloaded from this tweet.

i used the marker brush for the sketch, and then the square for most of the coloring/rendering!
