This is the last part of my Illustrated book called âA Tale of a Patchwork Goblinâ, which I created for my FMP (Final Major Project) of my HND Graphic Design course in my second year.
The story of the book is about a girl who finds out that she is different from most others and her journey through a world thatâs not designed for people like her. I wrote the story myself using my avatar and my experiences as a neurodivergent person with a touch of fantasy mixed in. I used fantasy creatures as a metaphor for neurodivergent people as I, a neurodivergent person, feel like at times Iâm something completely different from others due to how people treat me and how the world just isnât designed for people like me. I created the book to raise awareness for neurodivergent people and what we must deal with in a world that isnât designed with us in mind.
I was the one who designed, drew, and edited the illustrations that go with the story. I first sketched and inked the characters and the items they are interacting with by hand, then I edited and coloured them all in Photoshop, using either the paint bucket tool or the textures that I took pictures of and edited myself. I painted the background by hand using gouache paint and edited it in Photoshop, to fit with the aesthetic of the book. The borders were drawn in Photoshop using my drawing tablet and then edited and coloured. The font for the title was created by me, it was created for another project, but I decided to use it for this one as well, as it went with the design of the book.
I printed out the pages and bound them by hand using a variation of the kettle stitch. I also created the covers using fabrics, paint, and string, and I created a bookmark ribbon to go with it. I then put everything together and decided to add two of the lino prints that I carved and printed myself to the inside of the covers.
The book, illustrations, and story are all created by me.
I only created the title font the rest of the fonts werenât created by me.

This is an old creative CV I created for my Graphic Design level 3 course in year 2. Some information was removed for privacy reasons.
The illustration of the CV was loosely based on a cartoony version of space, because it was something I was experimenting with at the time, and enjoyed drawing. I also included an old version of my avatar as she was a representation of me at the time. The colours of the illustration are directly from my avatar.
The fonts donât belong to me, but the illustration, and avatar does.
This is the last part of the poem book I created as my FMP (Final Major Project) of my level 3 Graphic Design course.
The book is called âA Poetâs Quarryâ, itâs called this because itâs a place that inspiration can be found and extracted. All the poems were written by me through out my life and were finished off for the FMP.Â
The illustrations that go with the poems were created using mixed media, such as collage, water colour paint, photography, and others. They were first sketched out by hand, then they were edited and coloured in Adobe Photoshop. Some of the illustration also include the latest version of my avatar in them.
The physical book was bound and put together by me by hand.
The book, illustrations, and poems are all created by me.
I didnât make the fonts.

These are backgrounds I created for the Unit 33 Applied Practice Collaborative project for my HND course in year 2. The project was to create a collaborative presentation on the climate crisis, with a group of people from our class. The group I was in had five people including me, and we all assigned roles to each other for the project. One of my roles was to create the backgrounds for the presentation, as illustration and drawing are two of my strengths.Â
I created the backgrounds using my drawing tablet to sketch out ideas based on the climate crisis. I then asked my team members which ones they wanted to use and then finish the final backgrounds for them.
Each background has a name: The green one is called âGreen Foliageâ, the purple one is called âMelting Ice Caveâ, the blue one is called âPottery Wavesâ, the pink one is called âFire flowersâ, and the yellow one is called âForest Fireâ.
The backgrounds were created in Photoshop by me.
This is the final packaging for Unit 19 Packaging Special Delivery in year 1 of HND graphic design. The goal was to create a creative and innovative design to convince people to buy a more premium looking packaging, then make a mock up of said design.
The product I decided to use was a light bulb. I thought a lantern looking design would be a great, and creative idea for the packaging, because the packaging demonstrates where the product could be used. I also thought lanterns look quite elegant thus making it look more premium.
The ribbons are used for both decoration and function, as they are keeping the packaging closed. There is also padding inside to keep the light bulb safe so it wont break.
The net for the packaging, packaging design, and packaging was created by me on Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
The fonts werenât created by me.
This is a 3D poster that I created for Unit 3 Sustainability of HND year 1. Itâs created from biodegradable material, such as card, tissue paper, string, and recycled Easter egg boxes. I cut and glued everything together by hand, as well as plaited the string for extra strength to hold up the poster.
The text says:Â âPrevent the Change by Making a Changeâ. The change that needs to be prevented is climate change.
The art piece was created by me.
This is a poem poster I created for a small research project on recent events, I chose the news of Switzerland legalizing same sex marriage. I included imagery that represents Switzerland such as the mountains that are found in Switzerland and their flag. I also included LGBT and same sex marriage imagery such as the LGBT rainbow flag, and the two brides getting married, as well as including colours that represents different pride flags.
The poem was written by me.
The font isnât mine.
This poster is based on gender fluidity, which was a subject we were studying for my HND course year 1. The rainbow person represents the spectrum of gender possibilities. The pink and blue box they are sitting on represents the binary box of boy and girl that we are put in to, but the person is outside of that box like the saying âthinking outside the boxâ.
The outline was first drawn with pencil and inked with pen. I then edited and coloured it in Adobe Photoshop.
This is a quote poster and font that was created by me for my typography project for HND course year 1. The brief we got instructed us to design a poster for the Ministry of Sound using a song quote of our choice.Â
We had to create a font based on that quote we chose. I chose the song quote âGarden of Soundâ from the song ârock and roll heaven by The Pretty Recklessâ. I created a font based on the garden of Eden as the quote reminded me of it, especially paired with the title ârock and roll heavenâ. I drew the font by hand with pencil first then inked it with pen. I then edited it in Adobe Photoshop.Â
I hand painted the background first, then edited it in Adobe Photoshop.
The quote belongs to The Pretty Reckless.
The Ministry of Sound Logo belongs to the Ministry of Sound.
The font was created by me.
This is the full body of the old version of my avatar I created a while back. I plan to redraw this sometime, with her new design.
I first sketched her with pencil then created the final version on Adobe Illustrator.
This is an old design of my avatar that I created a while back. I plan on recreating this sometime in the future with the updated version of my avatar.
This was sketched out then created on Illustrator.
This was a poster that was requested by a staff member at the college that Iâm friends with. She requested it after she saw my quote that I created for remembrance day. I drew the illustration for the poster by hand, and edited it on Photoshop to have the quote, and borders on it. It was my first time drawing tigers, so I'm still quite proud of it.
I donât own the fonts.
