This is my cat Floss (sorry for the shaky camera). When she dreams, she snores (loudly) sometimes she makes odd noises. Anyway this was her earlier today. Thought I’d share.

IBS
No one understands how bad your gut can get until they have an issue with it. It's taken 4 years for this diagnosis alone, and it's followed by many others. After my last visit, I've been doing better. Until today. My birthday was yesterday and we didn't have time to fit everything into one day, and so we had plans for today too. Sounded nice, until pain stuck me down and I found myself nearly vomiting. My parents made a decision for me and made us stay home, and I am glad they did. Imagine being on your period then getting hit in the stomach with a metal bat, that's all I can describe it as. I've had many moments of fear that my appendix was going because I would be stuck vomiting in the fetal position. . . Turns out it's fine. I don't even fully understand how my guts can cause so much hurt in my life.. but I'm hoping someone out there does.

“Keeping the internet open is critical for us. It powers social movements, and provides a global platform for people of color, LGBTQ folks and the most marginalized communities to tell their own stories, run their own businesses and route around powerful gatekeepers.”—Candace Clement, Free Press Action Fund Campaign Director via @fight4future
Starting today, June 11, U.S. internet providers will be legally allowed to censor and block websites and apps, and force you to pay extra fees to to access your favorite places online. Your internet sanctuaries, the communities you are part of, the ones you have help build up, could be decimated.
Will it happen today? No. Next week? Probably not. The changes will not be swift. They will come piece by piece. A slow, tempered death to the free and open internet we love.
It doesn’t have to be this way. You can still make a difference, Tumblr. We need the House of Representatives to sign a discharge petition in support of the Congressional Review Act that would force a vote on the floor.
Contact your reps—let them know you support net neutrality.
It’s so easy. Just go to BattleForTheNet.com, fill out the form, and follow their directions from there.
They have an updated widget for you to throw on your websites to urge others to make a difference. You can put it on your Tumblr. Let your followers know what you stand for, encourage them to do the same. It’s so easy to do. Just copy and paste their small line of code right into the customize theme page on the web.
Go, go, go, go. We know you have that passion in you. We’re fighting right alongside you.
What's the point of doing anything online anymore?
What’s the point of trying to communicate online, trying to make comics and trying to post anything if my freedom has become a noose around my hands that only loosens with fucking money? Why try to save up for anything when we know where it is all going to go? Why try to share anything when no one will see it anymore? Maybe I’m over analyzing this but.. the end of net neutrality is a huge fear of mine. I have social anxiety, am trans in a place with no other trans people near me, am an artist and have big dreams.. But without freedom online, I feel like there is no point in doing anything online anymore. I already have money issues, parents losing jobs left and right, trying to keep whatever I get, brother graduating, new school.. Another grab at my money is the LAST thing I can take right now! ... I guess I’ll have to adjust, right? Because every time we say we can get close to winning, every time I feel hopeful and we say there is a chance there never is. Even if the fcc fucking did unlawful things to get here.. they fucking got here. That’s it.. I’m done. I know you all think I'm being over dramatic or shit.. but just remember some people are going through shit and turn to the Internet for shit they need.

Two icons were lost this week to suicide, but their contributions to the world will never be forgotten. Kate Spade made the fashionably unattainable attainable and @anthonybourdain’s exploration of culture through food opened our eyes to the world. Both will be sorely missed.
Remember, no matter what you are going through, you don’t have to go through it alone. There are resources available to help you.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need it, Tumblr.

I came out about two years ago
Well, not yet. The end of this summer will mark 2 years. And let me tell you some things to expect when coming out (TRANSGENDER). 1. Relationships... You might be asked who you like, as you are going to your preferred gender it might confuse people when you tell them who you like. Lucky me, I am bi, but I know some people got confused when I was in a 'gay' relationship as they all saw it as 'straight'. This can be irritating or even rude sometimes, but remember people are adjusting. 2. Toxic people... These people just need to be cut out of your lives as much as you can. Unfortunately this can be painful and uncomfortable, but the reality is, it's the best for you. For me, most people accepted me and supported me in more ways than I could of possibly imagined! But, not everyone. Super religious classmates made me uncomfortable sometimes, but once you get it in your head that they see religion wrong, then it's easier to deal with. (The bible says a man shall not treat another man as he would a woman, saying to treat a man better than women because it was back then and sexist and I'm so glad that things are changing. But it doesn't say anything about sex or trans people, and so I don't understand why people are toxic with religion when jesus never judged people and when those people might be religious too. Just a rant.) And as for just people who want to make fun of you, it's because they don't understand. 3. Awkward questions... yep, it happens. 'How are you going to have sex?' Whoo boy.. here we go. Questions involving sex are so much more common than you'd think, and being ftm I also have gotten questions about 'packers' and 'strap-ons'. I chose to ignore these questions unless It's someone you're super close to, like a parent. Even then, it's uncomfortable af so buckle up. 4. Emotions... There will be a FLOOD of them. Not just from you, but your family. If you are lucky, you have an accepting family like me.. but it doesn't mean confusion and fights are avoidable 100%. It's going to hurt sometimes but it just reminds you that this is your journey, and that you're getting one step closer to being you each day, even if some days suck. And these emotions aren't all bad, my biggest smile was shown when my grandmother (who is hitting 80) called me by my preferred name for the first time. It's a magical moment when you find those right people to support you, and even if they seem non existent, they are out there. This list could go on and on! And it will! We just entered pride month and I'm going to write down 2-4 things every day on either what to expect, issues, Q&A, and maybe some others! Remember, no matter who you are, someone cares for you. ♡
