sometimes you are already bawling your eyes out before its even noon and you go grab a coffee because sugar and something warm will make you feel better, right? and then the barista waits patiently while you try to find the voucher for a free drink you swear you have somewhere and you order a medium coffee and they look at your to-go cup and then your puffy eyes and say „i am pretty sure your cup fits a large coffee, also do you want an extra shot of espresso, it‘s free after all“ and you just stare at them and whisper please and thanks and they reply „no worries, i want to be the reason this company goes bankrupt“ and then they hand you your coffee and grin at you and say „this corporation hates me“ and there are tear stains on your cheeks and your eyes are dry as hell but maybe the universe or at least this barista wants you to feel a bit better
