Let me have fun with it.
thanks guys.
Prompt!!
Looking to have a little fun.
Give me a phrase or adjective for me to write a poem about!
Thanks for the follow. And your poetry is gorgeous. And hey. I have depression too. I just want you to remember that you're not alone.
yeah, it’s my pleasure! Your page is really awesome! Wish i knew how to do that stuff you do. Thanks for the compliment of my poetry. I write as i think it, i don’t edit much. I am really quite proud of it. I lack exposure tho. It’s silly. I want to get my stuff in the world, as much as possible. Share away!!
Tens of thousands of African-American men, women, and children were labeled “refugees,” as if the disaster had occurred not on American soil but in a distant country. The same media reported that armed, roving gangs of young black males opportunistically profited from the tragedy. Reports suggested that these men were stealing from electronics from stores, raping women trapped in evacuation centers, and trying to assassinate relief workers. Later evidence revealed that these reports were untrue. In fact, young black men were organizing to assist other survivors who were unable to find supplies: the elderly, the sick, and people with children. This narrative returned in the shaming disgust with which Ferguson protesters were met when their grief and anger exploded in the aftermath of Michael Brown’s death. Black lives matter.

In my universe there is nothing better than this :)
Have some faith in humanity!
THE LAST ONE.
I reblogged so fast for the last one.
I’ve seen many cruelties in this world, but those are small in comparison to the kind light shown by many. This makes me cry because it shows there is hope for this world.
Be good people do good things
ugh this makes me wanna cryy THIS is how you change the world #love
I’m at school just crying now
Reblogged the world that’s inside my head.
man, listen.
Yall eating cheese sticks with the Gods and what not
my heart dropped like y’all livin mane.
Lol this crushed my dreams of culture and untouched history. I'm surprised no one has used the pyramids to support Golden Arches you can see from space... Cause you know, aliens love genetically modified organisms. >.<
Light
Flickering patiently waiting for my mind, Bright ominous glare, Asking my eyes to wander, To see what is there, Love permits the wash of shadows, As I forget my past, Take me by the hand light, Leave my heart aghast.
Surreal aye
The lights shine so brilliantly my eyes can define, Water a mixture one part oxygen two parts hydrogen, Flows gushes pours turns gaseous does it again, Until finally frozen, Waiting for the thermodynamics of the sun to glisten on its scaly refractors, The very ground that we dare call stable, Opens transforms and changes consistency waiting begging for erosion, Biological life forms scatter the former mud clay and rock placing the foundation for life asking nothing more than to exist and bloom, As the animals, you and I, graze upon the uncertainties revel, bask in the infinities we know as life, making creating breaking as we see fit, all the while transforming like the earth we walk upon, glistening like the frozen water that gives us life, and penetrating others with our thermodynamic being. All just to exist, Just to bloom.
It may not be lyrically sound or rhyme perfectly I just really like this :)

If only we were morally balanced, Our borders would fade away, These wretched flags we hang, Would see their dying day, If only we had dignity, Clothes couldn't conceal us anymore, If only we had love, Our inhibitions would fall to the floor, For once we would know truth, As religion became a faulty expression, Like a broken rotting tooth, A reminder of what went wrong, If only we had minds of our own, We would sing our own damn song.
Time
The rhythmic beats of lessons learned, They come in seconds, They come in years, After each day of change, I replace yesterday's fears, With thought, With action, The unknown is a gift, Treat it with care, Underneath each floor, Behind every stair, Lie opportunity, If you only know it's there.
Some nights my heart is more restless than my mind, The swollen arteries that give me life, Bombarded by my daily strife. I wonder when my last pump, When the last beat, Will bring the warmth to my breath, Will bring me to my feet, I wonder Is my life going to be worth the electro magnetic field thats produced in my chest
there has to be some other kind of living species out there who also dreams of dreams and writes of words that make no sense, hoping someone in this seemingly vast open universe could understand their make believe mind

This is wonderfully true.
it could be tomorrow it could be 10 years from now but whenever it will be it will be the day you finally reconigze yourself as you and from then on you won’t have to worry about anything and you will fall asleep without worries of tomorrow or the troubles of yesterday. and waking up won’t feel like entering another nightmare. so just hold on and let that day come to you and i swear, you’re going to happier than you ever pretended to be now.
nothing lasts forever (via layla-and-majnun)
Beautiful.
this life is only another long tedious maze full of broken walls and dead ends leading to nowhere but the middle of nowhere and it’s never stopping, never starting until one day, you stop running in circles and realize it was never a maze to begin with and you were never really lost
