Roll up, ROLL UP! Were back with our handmade markets featuring the very best of Brighton and beyonds creative peeps. Our LAST date is December 6th, 11-5pm, at Brighton Unitarian Church on New Road. 

As usual we have a fabulous mix of brand new faces and regular favourites selling a vast range of arts and crafts including original artwork, homewares, photography, textiles, jewellery, ceramics, fashion, glass and an amazing cafe serving light lunches, lovely homemade cakes and tea’s and coffees.
So if your looking for something special and unusual for a present, a birthday, or just a treat for yourself, we have some fantastic affordable and unique gifts you certainly will not find on the High street! Is it too early for the C word?! Yes Christmas is coming up so if your shopping early this year come and browse some amazing unique products. Support local businesses this year. We have some top quality artists selling their wares and the best thing is you get to meet the person who has designed and made what you are buying. there is a story, creative magic and inspiration behind each product.


Don’t forget we are also Dog Friendly, even in the cafe, just keep your pooch on a lead so he doesn’t steal the sausage rolls!!!

LH Design -  LH Design is a small, one person business run by Lola Hoad, a graphic designer based in Brighton, UK. Lola creates hand lettered contemporary paper goods, ranging from prints to greeting cards, that feature lovely expressions and quotes.Â
Adam Regester - Market fav Adam is a talented illustrator who is inspired by local and iconic architecture, animals and things he finds around himself in everyday life, breaking down the images to simple almost naive sketch work with bold block colour accents to produce graphic and commercially viable images which work well on a variety of surfaces producing a variety of original art pieces and affordable gifts and accessories, as well as working on bespoke commissions.
Hania Jewellery - Gorgeous delicate sterling silver and karat gold jewellery made by Hania, featuring geometric shapes and lines that are so simple yet so striking at the same time. Timeless and contemporary all at the same time.Â
Gabrielle Vary -Â Designer Gabrielle spins traditional hand-made design techniques with modern, fresh ideas, specialising in knitwear with a particular focus on fashion and interior accessories. Her colour combinations are stunning.Â
 Dinah & Co - Market regular and fav’ Dinah Dufton creates a vast range of spectacular creative pieces, including, art, stationary, jewellery, body stickers and tattoos and gifts. Her new raw diamond pieces, cocoon and pebble jewellery are simply stunning.Â
YUK FUN - Yuk FUN is a brand new clothing label based in sunny Portslade-by-Sea. Find bright colourful clothing designed by Lucy Cheung and Patrick Gildersleeves.
Cat Brown -Â Talented ceramic artist Cat makes beautiful decorative and functional pieces for the home and garden inspired by nature. She creates her organic work by just working with her hands, a few tools and very little else but the earth and some water to create her distinct and covetable pieces.
Mica Peet -Â Mica is an illustrator and all round creator of lovely things including illustrations, jewellery, phone cases and pocket mirrors. Her design philosophy consists of juxtaposing her love of the beautiful natural world with an edgier, modern and idiosyncratic design aesthetic.Â
 Nina Stemson - Nina runs Skinny Scarves, which features colourful knitware fashion and accessories. Each item is made with care from high quality yarns, Nina currently uses British and Italian yarns sourced from UK suppliers. As well as scarves find hot water bottle covers, wrist warmers, headbands and mug-hugs.Â
Chanchala - Stunning steampunk inspired jewellery Most of her pieces incorporate found objects which are old and unwanted. Her line of jewellery began with a pile of old watch and clock parts which got caught in the 2004 Tsunami, courtesy of her Dad who owns a shop in southern Sri Lanka which was badly damaged. There is so much joy in turning such a tragedy into beautiful pieces of history. You can also find her beautiful new clocks which follow her distinct style.
English Handmade Soap - Faith McCartney is the brains behind English Handmade Soap, which produces handmade high quality glycerine soaps which are both decorative and practical. English Handmade Soap draws on the 1950’s patterns and colour palettes for design inspiration and comes in delightful scents like rose, lemongrass and lavender.
David Bennett -Â David creates funky linoprints and illustrations with a cartoony edge. With a background in animation you can see how this translates easily and seamlessly into his current artwork. David will be exhibiting prints and cards of his designs.
Sarah Meredith - Sarah likes to make fun quirky pieces of jewellery to make you smile! Her work is created using many different materials including precious metals and laser cut plastic and wood, making her designs available to everyone whatever your budget.Â
Sarah Edmonds - Sarah’s work is inspired by nature, unusual characters and stories. She produces screen prints, paper cuts, gouache paintings and line illustrations as well as working digitally. Sarah is inspired by Scandinavian design, and in the summer of 2013 worked as an artist in residence for Kultivera in TranÃ¥s, Sweden.Â
Sharifa Brooks Read -Â Sharifa is a Brighton trained painter and printmaker, whose work has a strong and recognisable form and reflects her training in Graphic Design and Illustration. She will be exhibiting a range of screen and lino prints, as well as some hand printed kitchen textiles. She had a sale on last time on old work, so grab a bargain!Â
Miss Jones Draws - Anna Jones runs Miss Jones Draws. Originally from Anglesey in North Wales, Anna now lives in sunny Brighton and creates stunning illustrations. She graduated with a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Graphic Arts from Liverpool Art School and has since worked as an in-house illustrator/designer for a greeting card company before becoming a freelance illustrator in 2008.Â
Betty Shek -Â the one and only Betty Shek returns with her jewellery and artwork. She always loves to create with vintage & new materials, so most of the components she uses for her designs have been carefully sourced or recycled. Her button and found object jewellery made from her vast ever growing hoard is always a popular choice, as is her delicate intricate embroideries which can be found as brooches or artwork.
Lily Lou -Â Another market regular Linda Ayres produces eyecatching bold statement jewellery made with recycled and vintage costume jewellery that is sure to turn heads! Many of her pieces feature some serious bling perfect for the xmas party season!Â
Remnant Black -Â Catrin Dudfield is a textile artist creating unique pieces including, brooches, rosettes, cushions, cards, framable art, hangings and decorated vintage china. She has a huge interest in anatomy and a dark sense of humour and this influences her work.
Jessica Parkes - Jessica creates stunning stained glass items for your home, including small items perfect for hanging by a window or big dramatic statement pieces.Â
Corinne Taylor -Â Corinne is a holistic therapist based in Ovingdean, Brighton, and has designed a range of treatments and organic handmade products, aiming to help you achieve optimum health and balance in your life.Â
Imogen George Jewellery -Â Mandie Bailey designs and makes all her jewellery in her workshop in South London. Apart from a basic silversmithing course, Mandie is a self taught jeweller. Working primarily with sterling silver her main style is cutting organic shapes from silver by hand.Â
Troy Ohlson -Â Local scenes inspired by nature, Troys work is about atmosphere, feeling and colour. As both a Painter and a Printmaker, Troy blurs the boundaries between the two, mixing media within each image; often adding collage, watercolour, acrylic, and pen & ink to her paintings, etchings and collagraphs.Â
Shabby Pop Prints - The fab Christian Howard of Shabby Pop Prints creates images of the British south coast with a modern twist! His popular images are inspired by the beautiful Sussex coast and its shabby decaying piers, magical sunsets and romantic beaches. He carefully prints his images directly onto wood and stone making them into durable and funky art pieces.
