Jay went on stage and said "Enhypen is 6" in Spanish looking visibly frustrated and people still won't listen.

They will "still keep fighting for OT7". They will still "keep boycotting". They will still continue to ignore what the members have to say just to feed their own delusions.

I've seen videos and comments about how they don't understand why the members are being so mean and how they didn't realize that they were hurting the members. This is crazy to me because that's like saying "I was just trying to end their career a little bit through petty fights and boycotting their livelihood under the guise of 'protecting them', I wonder why they're a bit upset about that 🧐🥺?". I've also seen people say that Jay was forced to say it because he looked upset. God forbid someone be serious in a serious situation. Like how dare he show any emotion other than giddy, jump-up-in-joy happiness while emphasizing something to people who don't want to listen to him. It's like scolding a toddler who wants 7 pieces of chocolate when you only have 6. You keep telling them there's only 6 and it's still good chocolate and yet they won't stop screaming and throwing a tantrum about how they MUST have the 7 pieces of chocolate or nothing. If I was Jay (or any of the members) in that situation, I would be upset too. I don't understand why people still refuse to acknowledge that they are the ones causing problems and that they need to stop.

Also just because the members were smiling in Brazil doesn't mean they were happy with the fanchant. They are professionals and they can't stop a performance just to tell people to do the OT6 fanchant. The fact that they have to play a "game" where they TEACH us the fanchant is crazy to me. Like that just shows us how much they are trying to move on and that we need to accept it. For them.

If you claim to love the members, listen to their words. Not what you want to hear.

God forbid a member calls out bad behavior, like are we kiddingg?

I've seen so many comments and posts about how Jungwon was throwing shade at Heeseung (he literally didn't say Heeseung's name once), about how Jungwon betrayed Engenes by betraying OT7ers delusions (poor people 🥺. I feel so bad that they were called out for literally boycotting, spamming, protesting, and ignoring Enhypen's wishes. Aww so sad for them...), and about how rude Jungwon was for "forgetting 6 years of memories" (btw he NEVER said anything about forgetting Heeseung or any memories of the past 6 years. He literally just wants us to support the 6 of them without bringing Heeseung into everything. He wants us to understand that Enhypen is 6 now, regardless of if it was 7 in the past.)

Also I've seen WAYYY too many people talk about how Jungwon was "definitely forced to say all of that. The staff was probably behind him with a script.".

The delusions are killing me. It's like they only have autonomy and freedom of speech if it's something you want to hear or see. But everything else was forced by the staff or company. Mind you Jungwon literally said, (summarized) "even though I know a lot of y'all will think this, the company isn't forcing me to say this. I'm speaking on behalf of my members and myself. Please do not misunderstand me or misinterpret my words. Honestly those who misunderstand and continue saying Enhypen is 7 are just causing drama and fights in the fandom and I don't consider people like that true fans."

And yet, people are still saying he was forced and that staff were behind the camera with a script. If Jungwon were to go on live and start saying Enhypen is 7, people would believe it without a doubt and all of a sudden, there's no staff behind the camera and he's not behind held at g*npoint.

I think that people really need to start listening to what the members have to say instead of coming up with random theories and delusions because it can be really damaging to the members.

Also sorry if I sound mad, it's just that people are straight up disrespecting Jungwon and the members atp and it's really upsetting to see.

i don’t normally talk about this stuff on here but i feel like it has to be said especially now after jungwons live. heeseung is not coming back. and im so sick of a lot of engenes grasping at straws for ‘hints he’s coming back’. no, enhypen smiling at their own concert doesn’t mean he’s coming back. jay showing a jersey of a certain player that just happened to have a seven does not mean he’s coming back.

after jungwons live yesterday i hoped people would finally stop. but there is still so many engenes saying ‘oh but enhypen gave us so many hints at the brazil concert’.

why is it that engenes aren’t able to listen and comprehend facts when it comes directly from jungwon, but then they’re suddenly experts when enhypen ‘gives hints’. they aren’t actually looking for anything anymore, they’re just searching for what aligns with their narratives.

a member explicitly says something about the situation = ‘oh they are forced to say that by belift’

a member ‘gives a hint’ at a concert = ‘oh they want heeseung back’

stop saying jungwon was ‘forced to’ make his live when in his live he made it clear it was his own thoughts.

you can appreciate and love the old enhypen when they were 7, you can appreciate evan and enhypen now- but whatever tf engenes are doing now is just making enhypens situation worse and stressing the members out most likely.

what he said wasn’t some random personal opinion. it was a collective decision made by him and the members, and as their leader, he took the initiative to be the one to communicate their feelings to the fandom.

that takes courage. he knew there would be backlash, he knew people would twist his words, and he still chose to speak because he wanted fans to understand how they feel.

instead of appreciating his honesty, some of you are attacking the very person who was brave enough to say what the members were all thinking.

My thoughts on this (no hate to anyone):

I've been OT6 + 1 since March 15 and I wanted to share my thoughts on what jungwon said today.

Honestly it's kind of sad that he even had to say this in the first place. I think it's pretty clear that enhypen has been trying to move forward as 6 since March and people aren't letting them. I've seen so many people twisting his words and saying that they're still gonna fight for OT7 and Enhypenis7 regardless of what jungwon said. I'm honestly convinced most of these people didn't listen to a word he said 😭. So many people have been saying that the company forced him to say this when he literally said that he was speaking on behalf of the members, noone forced him to say this, AND that anyone who claims that the company forced him is not a real fan to him. When I saw the video this morning, I was shocked and proud and lowkey glad that he was able to speak up. Then I continue to scroll on social media and see a bunch of people claiming that he was forced and that jungwon "would never say that", like WHAT😭😭??

I also see a bunch of people making the point that the members were smiling during the OT7 chant in Brazil and Peru. But has no one considered that 1.) They were just happy to be in Brazil or 2.) They were just happy to hear fans cheering for them?

People are also saying things like "why is he saying this now?" and "why didn't belift release a statement earlier?" and stuff like that. But 1.) Jungwon has already talked about this topic before and asked fans to stop and 2.) Belift DID release a statement; people just chose to ignore it and erase it from their minds because they didn't like what it said.

Belift has talked about Heeseung's departure and made it clear he wasn't coming back. Heeseung also released a statement about how he chose to leave but people chose to believe it was AI based on nothing but delusion and overanalyzing handwriting (because obviously everyone's handwriting stays the same their whole life and couldn't POSSIBLY change in a year 😭✌🏾). Jay has spoken to fans, begging them to stop the fanwars and spamming and just support them as 6. Jungwon has done the same. TWO TIMES NOW.

And yet, boycotters are still adamant on not listening to him and believing everything but the truth that was given to us. Multiple times. The remaining 6 members could literally scream into their microphones on stage about how Heeseung chose to leave and how fans should please support them as 6 and people would find a way to do anything but listen. Enhypen, Belift and Heeseung could release 12378 (BND reference anyone? 🥹) statements about this and people would STILL find a way to twist it and not believe them. Because in a lot of people's minds minds, enhypen is an image; a perfect image of their 7 vampire prince boyfriends. And now that the image is ruined, people can't accept it and will do anything, even hurt the boys to get that image back. Parasocialism is a horrible, scary thing.

Anyways, I hope people start to listen someday and can learn to support Enhypen as 6 and Evan as 1.

(Like I've literally seen someone outright say that Jungwon didn't tell us not to say the ot7 fanchant and that they were gonna keep fighting for EnhypenIs7. And that genuinely confuses me because idols go live after concerts ALL THE TIME. Like this is not a rare occurrence at all. Also the reason could simply be because ✨he wanted to✨)

Anyways this is actually the end now. And like yeah, I was just kinda upset seeing so many continue to talk about fighting for ot7 when jungwon literally asked us not to. Again if I sound rude, I really don't mean to. No hate to any side. You can support whatever side you want and you can give whatever opinions you want.

A rant about things that have been going on with Enhypen (as someone who's been lurking online but has been too busy to say anything yet): First things first, I would like to make it clear that I am an OT6+1 engene and don't necessarily support boycotting (though if you do participate in it, I don't judge). I support Enhypen as Enhypen, and Evan as Evan. That being in mind, I was... surprised to say the least at his solo debut. When I first listened to the demos, I already knew that I was gonna like Overflow (it's been on repeat for the past 24 hours lol) and I was feeling kinda iffy about Ride Or Die. When the MV for ride or die came out, I was actually pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed watching it. The storyline seemed really emotional and personal for him so I liked that aspect. On the other hand, I personally don't really like the song. Heeseung's greatest strength is his voice and the song didn't really highlight that for me. It seemed heavily autotuned and altered and didn't really seem like something I could add to the playlist. I'm saying this as someone who personally doesn't really like the emo/punk genre of music so please don't hate on me or get mad just because I don't like it. Now Overflow? I LOVE Overflow. It's emotional and flowy and vocally focused. It's the type of music I can imagine Heeseung releasing and succeeding at in the future. I've been singing the "here we go again, here we go again" part so much in the past day that my roommate is actually starting to get mad at me lmao. Okay, now moving on the Enhypen logo change:

I don't really understand why people are so distraught by this? I've seen so many people claiming that belift is trying to get rid of the identity of enhypen and "erase memories" but this is normal, is it not? So many groups have changed their logos in the past ((G)I-DLE to I-DLE being the first one off the top of my head.) and it signifies new beginnings not the loss of identity. If anything, this should be a good thing, as it kind of confirms that the remaining members have most likely renewed their contracts. Also, the hyphen wasn't necessarily removed. From what I've seen, the EN is now INSIDE the hyphen. They are still connected and they are still Enhypen. This is simply my take on this so again, no hate please and thanks. Another small thing I wanted to talk about were the rumors engenes keep spreading regarding heeseung's departure and solo. I saw this one tweet saying (summarized): "the person who said this is a hybe staff, this is confirmed by the person who said this(😭🤣): If Heeseung's solo flops, he'll be forced to comeback to enhypen so make sure to boycott a lot". I'm sorry but WHAT? 🤣🤣 I can't take this seriously. Some random person on the internet claimed to be a Hybe Staff and people believe it because the "staff" said so? I've seen a lot of things like this over the past 3 months and I genuinely don't understand. People just believe stuff that THEY themselves WANT to hear. They spread rumors and act like they know the boys personally just to encourage their own beliefs, NOT the truth. I swear someone can go online pretending to be Heeseung's left toenail and people would believe them if they said that Heeseung was sad because it fits their narrative that heeseung wants to come back. I understand that people are emotional about the situation but if you're gonna say stuff and try to make a point, use actual, VERIFIED sources, not random claims from people who have never actually met the boys before.

Boycott thoughts: I personally believe that the boycott will not work and will only cause harm onto the boys so I choose to support them both. If Enhypen flops, Belift won't hesitate to throw them under the rug. Same thing goes for Heeseung (Evan). And I don't know if anyone has ever considered that if the boycott gets too extreme, Heeseung may not have a group to return to? Also in terms of them being really tired during Fate+, I understand but clearly things have been done to fix that. The Blood Saga dates are very stretched apart and they get plenty of rest in between. I remember some of the members talking about when they get a break, they're bored and don't know what to do, so I believe it's their choice to work hard. The Idol industry is incredibly competitive and if you want to stay relevant, you have to work and work and work. Take Stray kids for example, atp THEY'RE the ones overworking JYP. I'm pretty sure Bang Chan doesn't even know what sleep is fr. Or take Ateez for example, by mid-late 2027, there's gonna be an announcement for golden hour part 11171431009553.
