I've also been thinking about another AU (linked below) about if Blake had entered Beacon on behalf of Cinder and the White Fang. If you take these two AUs and crash aspects of each together, it becomes a reversed RWBY scenario where everyone has an ulterior motive:

Yang: entering to gain information on the movements of huntsmen, so that the tribe can avoid them. Bandit.

Blake: to help bring down Beacon. White Fang terrorist.

Ruby: trained by Qrow from an early age, under the eye of Ozpin, she is enrolled early to spy on the other students. Oz suspects that Salem may try to infiltrate the school through the student body and has been overseeing Ruby's training for this purpose. Despite her ethically dubious upbringing and determination to fulfill her task, she is still a goofball. Perhaps becoming that way to cheer up her adopted father.

Weiss: not sure what her angle is. But like the others, some type of dishonest chicanery that she'll come to question.

I love the idea that they are all unknowingly enemies but unintentionally grow closer as a team, carefully hiding their secrets from each other.

But the original AUs are perfect the way they are, I'm just having fun mixing elements.

i haven't read the other AU yet, but you have sum up some right changes about Blake and Ruby in mine (somehow) xD About Weiss Schnee, she hasn't gotten her major change like the rest but post v3. into v4 where she comes back to Atlas and decides to stay with the Schnee Dust Company instead of fleeing from her father, Jacques.

She will continue her studies at Atlas Academy under Ironwood's care. might get a new team [team WWSS - please try to guess who because these 3 are 3 survived characters that we all know] and be a leader (what she wanted before meeting team RWBY)
