there is so much shit they say about mako in the commentaries and art books that isn’t in canon and honestly i want to bottle it and get drunk on all of it, because it’s this weirdly rich life, both internally and externally. mako made big gang busts. he was in the newspapers and maybe even on the cover of magazines. he’s somewhat famous enough to be requested by wu. he was not assigned to bodyguard duty, but requested. mako is really good at cardio. after he and korra broke up, he started reading lots of books, became twice the nerd, and “he’s a lot smarter now.” mako copied iroh ii’s hairstyle because he liked it and thought it looked cool. mako didn’t trust or like kai at first because “it takes one to know one” (which is just like, mako please forgive yourself, and also love yourself.) lightning bolt zolt taught mako how to lightning bend. the leader of the triple threats taught young mako, who would later grow up to become a well-known triad-busting detective, how to lightning bend. like. what is this? where is it coming from? why do they have so much fucking mako headcanon??

The Tumblr sexyman contest is coming up (June 1st!) and I was the rallying behind Percy being submitted so I feel it is only right that I champion why I think people should vote for him (this WILL have spoilers for both the Vox Machina show and campaign 1)

#1: He's so traumatized. His entire family was murdered and he was tortured for a while by a woman who had a psychosexual relationship with him afterwards (I love you Dr. Anna Ripley)

#2: He was so angry about his family being murdered (above) that he accidentally made a deal with a demon for revenge!!

This is his glove that shoots lightning called Diplomacy. (Fun fact: this glove is because he shot himself in the hand to escape his demon!) He names his weapons stupid things. His other weapon names are Bad News (a sniper rifle), Retort (a pistol), and Animus (a pepperbox)
