I am absolutely mad over this. I mean , yes, the fact that he is a pretty pretty boy is undeniable- but the comfort in this image, the easy familiarity, the way you can FEEL the lazy peaceful calm in this image...it really emphasizes the betrayal of the near drowning.

They weren't just partners, they were friends. Family. Brothers. This is a nightly sight-Vander, humming as he scrubs glasses, or maybe muttering and bitching about some odd thing or another, maybe an absent half smile on his lips, maybe even talking about Vi and Powder. (It's been confirmed he knew the girls pre-bridge.)

And Silco, lost in the world of numbers and ledgers and figures, face blank or even annoyed but body calm and relaxed and at ease with the feel and sound of his brother beside him, the rumble of his voice and clink of glass, or just the easy quiet of two people who don't need to talk.

People have said that the scene in Arcane where Vi goes back to the Drop is heartbreaking, because that was her safe space once.

But people seem to forget it was once Silco's, too.
