I think Maks not only wants Meryl to be the last person he dances with on DWTS, but also the last person he ever dances with (not professionally, but personally). He wants her to be the one he waltzes with at his wedding (or any weddings they ever attend), the one he tangos with in their living room, and...well, you get my drift. She's his everything now.
