ADHD-addled, ace/pan-arospec, asocial mess of a Lokean potato all wrapped up in a pretty bow of depression and paranoia. Actual jeweller, occasional writer, theoretical adult. They/them or may your bacon always burn. Queer as in fuck you. ✌😘 I run on spite and chocolate cake.
I find I have quite a few more things to my name than I really anticipated, so I figured maybe it’s time to make a pinned post instead of continuing to crowd my bio with links. To be updated as needed, though that probably won’t be very much. XD
Lokabrenna Designs - my webstore. I’m a jeweller by trade; plenty of shiny sparkly things to be found there.
My Ko-fi - if you ever feel like throwing a little tip my way. I also have a shop there for fandom-y themed/inspired jewellery.
My AO3 - I've written MCU!Loki-centric fic, mostly, with a little AOA!Loki fics in there, as a treat; though I'm no longer in the MCU fandom, so there won't be anything new until I actually finish writing any of my WIPs in my current fandom that I'm actually writing for. It... could take a while.
A Butterfly Universe - blog for a lot of my old poetry and songs. A little glimpse into the mind of 12-to-20-ish-year-old Malice (plus the two poems I wrote in 2020 for a challenge).
My Bluesky - I literally made this cuz I was Bored. There's a grand total of one (1) post on it rn and I dunno what I'm gonna do with the account in general. Mostly there in case Tumblr bites it, I guess. XD
AO3 has recently seen a wave of comments claiming to be made by the "AO3 Trust & Safety team", notifying you that your account has been restricted. These claims are not true. These comments are not being made by real AO3 volunteers and your account has not been restricted.
AO3 volunteers, including the Policy & Abuse committee, will never communicate with you through comments on your work. All important communications from AO3 will be sent through the email associated with your account. More general announcements will be posted on our official social media accounts or published as news posts on AO3 or OTW.org.
If you receive one of these comments, do not click on any of the links in it, reply to it, or interact with it in any way. The links in these comments lead to sites asking you to verify your identity by providing payment information. This is a common credit card scam. AO3 does not ever ask users to provide payment information, and the Policy & Abuse committee will never comment on your works asking you to "complete an identity verification process".
If you encounter one of these comments or believe your account has been compromised, please view the instructions under the cut!
We suggest that you review your account to verify that you're using a unique and secure password. Check out the advice from our Policy & Abuse committee on Protecting Your AO3 Account and Keeping Your Account Secure.
If you believe your AO3 account has been compromised for any reason (i.e. you received an email that your username changed), you can change or reset your password to ensure control of your account. Changing your password will automatically log you out of all sessions on all devices. You can find the option to change your password in your Preferences.
If you encounter one of these comments on your own work or someone else's, please report them to the Policy & Abuse committee. To do so:
Select the "Thread" button on the scammer's comment. This will take you to the specific comment page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Policy Questions & Abuse Reports.
In the "Brief summary of Terms of Service violation" field, enter "Spambot".
In the "Description of the content you are reporting" field, enter "This is a spambot, their username is USERNAME."
Reporting in this fashion helps us auto-sort your report so that it can be handled as soon as a Policy & Abuse volunteer is available. To help us address reports about these types of bots as fast as possible, please only submit one report per account, and don't include multiple accounts in the same report.
We also encourage you to share this post and help spread the word about how to protect yourself from scammers and reduce spam on AO3.
For more information about spambots on AO3, you can review our News Post on the topic.
They claimed the power would be back by 9pm and I would love to know what the fuck timezone they on, cuz it's almost midnight and they just got it back up 🤨
Always blows my mind when a show ends and people are like, "oh, I'm going to miss these characters! I'm going to miss this fandom! I'm so sad it's over!"
The characters didn't go anywhere and now you get to enjoy them fully, with the entire context and understanding of their story! A show ending means it's time to get even more unhinged about The Character!
There are still people making art and fics for Kirk and Spock every single day. You don't have to throw your modern Blorbo in the trash the moment their final episode airs, you dork. Get out there and make transformative art about it, or share headcanons, or whatever else you were already having fun doing.
Please, dear gods, keep doing shit that's fun even if it isn't the trending hot topic. You need some whimsy as armor against this hell world.
