Welp con booth for next year is booked, I actually managed to snag the same space as this year, which I liked, but! ☝️ I have a grievance.

So I wake up early cuz the last email they sent us said registration started a 10am, right? I log on to the site at 9:40-ish and start The Constant Refreshening, as you do. 10am comes and... nothing. Ok, I think, maybe there's a bit of a delay, it's fine, I didn't really expect it to open on the dot. 10:10am, nothing. Ok, that's... a bit concerning. 10:15am, nothing. I'm in the group chat with my sis and we're kinda sorta freaking out now. 10:18am I finally get in and there's not a lot of spaces available (no corner booths, ofc) but at least I get one.

It turns out, they were apparently letting people in to book their space a little at a time. Something which was mentioned in exactly none of the emails they've sent us. So now I'm sleepy and very hungry and absolutely pissed. Next year is the 25th anniversary of this con. You would think that at this point they would know better than to not clearly communicate this kind of very important information and thus leave the entire category of artists stressed out over the site "not working", especially the people who had to take a bit of time off their other jobs to register. What the fuck, man.
