it's interesting how there wasn't a whole lot of buzz when the story about Cesar Chavez' rapes came out because people had already done that when it was clear that a story like that was going to come out, the details didn't particularly matter.

I understand why & how it came to be almost exclusively used by progressive people & that it describes a real thing but I can't help but feel like I'm having an instinct validated when I see it used in rounds of anti-miscegenation discourse.

Its so weird to me that people say "bomb that kills all tmas" as a response to "bomb that kills all tmes" because the latter is pretty clearly an expression of frustration at how much it can suck to be a trans woman and have cis men and cis women and trans men not really know how to talk to or about you (or outright discriminate!) And then the former is like. Pretty in line with the American republican party's solution to trans women. How are those equivalent or reciprocal.

"bomb that kills all tmas" exists solely as a comeback to "bomb that kills all tmes", a variation on "bomb that kills all trans men", which is a spin on "bomb that kills all women", part of a joke about violent misogyny. why the supposed truest feminists would construct the hill that they want to kill trans men for being women, let alone die on it, is beyond me.
