Inktober 2024 - 05 (binoculars/ Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart)
Inktober 2024 - 06 (Amy Pond)
Two prompts today because this weekend was... Difficult. Terrible headache with effing pain in my eyes, I just couldn't draw.
So, I mixed the official prompt and my Whoctober prompt for yesterday, and used the Whoctober prompt for today.
I had so much fun coming up with this list of prompts around Doctor Who š
Inktober 2024 - 08 Village of the angels
I used my Doctor Who prompts today instead of the official one, because the 08 was Village of the Angels, and I find it a very inspiring episode for fanarts.
I didn't manage to do exactly what I had in mind, but I quite like it anyway āŗļø
Inktober 2024 - 09 Soleil
Today I used the french version of the prompt list to be able to draw a fanart of Soleil, from Fire Emblem 14 (Fates).
There's a problem with the left arm and leg, and the face is somewhat atrocious, but I still really like the position and the rendering!
Inktober 2024 - 10 Nomadic
For today's prompt I wanted to draw the character Nouak, from a series of books I love: Les Enfants d'Aliel.
He appears only at the very end of the first book, the only one I have read for now, so I don't have a lot to use in terms of description.
I don't know why he ended up with a rather feminine figure but... Well, what's done is done. Really, I must admit that I don't really care because I really like the result a lot āŗļø
RIP William Russell; saw the news earlier today but only had time to come on the internet now.
Ian is arguably one of the most important characters in all of the history of DW. The Doctor only is how we know they are today - extremely empathetic, doing everything they can to help people (very blatantly seen in last week's episode) and having a love for humanity because Ian and Barbara taught them that all those years ago. I've been watching the very first season of Classic Who recently and the difference between the Doctor we know today and how the Doctor was in the first few episodes is so glaring. 1 sees humanity as lower beings, and he doesn't really mind putting people in danger if it serves his own self-interest (...he also tried to kill a caveman with a rock, so there's that). He only begins to change and develop empathy for humanity because of Ian and Barbara. At the end, they're the ones who end up making helping people his life mission. The original TARDIS team also shaped and inspired companions for decades to come, and the show itself is the way it is because of them.
So yeah, this 60's teacher who worried about one of his most brilliant students enough to follow her and find out if everything was ok at home even when it wasn't required, who was one of the first humans to ever step into the TARDIS (and ended up getting kidnapped lmfao), who got into silly little arguments with the Doctor but truly grew fond of him in the end, who was always very brave and did his best to keep everyone safe, and who, in after all, was just an average person, ended up having some of the biggest impact in the entire Doctor Who lore, and in the show itself.
so yeah everyone thank him (and Barbara) and the actor who played him. rest in peace William Russell. you truly did a lot for this show.

I made this illustration for the chapter 17 of Whickber Street the fanfiction currently written by Caedmon on AO3 š
You can read it here (if you like Human AUs and an explicit rating is okay with you, you will probably like Caedmon's works! I know I do š)
I'm sooo happy by how it turned out.
There's little things like the angle of the arms in the main part or Az' hand in the left corner, but it's the best I can do for now and it's such an improvement for me that I'm not really bothered by it. I know I've still a lot to learn and that's okay, that's normal (and having aphantasia is complicating things further for me.)
The only thing bothering me is the way it's obvious that Gleafer's work are one of my main inspirations. I'm learning a lot by studying her drawings in term of movement, expressions, etc. but I don't want to copy her work 𫤠I really need to work on that
With today's exercise I wanted to work on the little things that make a face different from another, so I wanted to draw two actors that I find very similar.
And, well, it was also a good excuse to go back to Doctor Who š
So, here are Jon Pertwee and Peter Capaldi, my two favourite doctors š
(One day, I will manage to draw Capaldi's smile accurately. Yes I will!)
Fun

@silverdphantom @malohkeh-main @floscrap-blog @captainblou @demonsandpieohmy love you dears!
Crowley 11 ; Aziraphale 13
Well, not really surprised to be almost equally divided between them both, and to be leaning a bit more towards Az.
I've always seen a bit of myself in both of them, while sharing the most "obvious" traits with Aziraphale šš¶

Twelfth Doctor of Easter!
I wanted to draw something cute for today, with the Ninth Doctor and Rose, but, well... Capaldi's creepy grin in the Lie of the Land dug a hole in my brain and refused to leave so... This happened.
I had... way too much fun working on this.
Totally worthed the almost 4 hours I have spent on it š

You know what, fuck it. Figure skating is now my favorite sport. Unless there's another one that will let a competitor dress up in a silly costume and do all these silly jumps and wiggles and fall on purpose, IN THE OLYMPICS, there's no contest
As a former figure skater I feel obliged to point out how technically difficult that little Chaplin patter would be. See the kind of speed he's getting up to and then immediately moving into that "walk" - sometimes without even a brake manoeuvre. The momentum you build up when moving at speed has to get released somewhere so stopping like that is usually an easy way to topple over (not on purpose). In the true spirit of Chaplin he is making very hard and potentially dangerous things look easy.
This is Petr Barna. He came in 3rd in the men's event in figure skating in Albertville in 1992. this is his exhibition skate - kind of a fun post competition party when the skaters don't have to skate a technical program under the guidelines.
I wish I could remember who it was who dis a skating routine that was three musketeers themed, and for the footwork component he fence danced across the ice. really impressive, super difficult, but I think whoever had the quad won.
chiming in to say the skater with the fencing footwork would be phillipe candeloro! and iām dropping a video because it is absolutely incredible

Day 24: "All this time. All the way." - A gift about GoodOmensAU! Reversed Veil Of Worlds by DaneeCastle
āš„Special gift for @daneecastle āš„ Happy birthday!!!
And thank you for this angsty yet beautiful AU you brought to us. I love the way Aziraphale/Rouge took care of Crowley for all this time, and I am so sure Rouge is still able to show this kind of tenderness. Imagining this scene was thrilling - and Crowley's hair are definitely my favourite AU hair style, even if it was EXHAUSTING to draw/color it :-p
Dear Danee, I hope you'll enjoy your collection of gifts! Here is the edited version of my gift to you, on AO3!!
Share the Ineffable love! Don't forget to š/ reblog ;-)
