Where do you get your foxes, bats, and raccoons?

The fox was a vintage taxidermy head that was coming apart that I reformed (the form it was on was way too big so I carved it down and reshaped it) and restored, other animals I've gotten from a wildlife refuge if the animals don't make it and the bats I get from another taxidermist that does freeze-drying technique.

Been working on this cute little baby raccoon. He is all ready to be mounted, just got to decide how. I kinda like him on this chair.

I haven't posted in a while but I have been busy getting ready for a rogue taxidermy event I will be part of at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore tomorrow. This is one of the pieces that will be there. Fantastic Mr. Punk Rock Fox. Made some patches based on actual bands. We have Bat Flag, MisKits, Moustodon, NOFoX, SubHamsters, Crow-Nags, and the Dead Milkmice. What do you all think?

Where do you purchase your rats?

We get all our mice, rats and rabbits from a company that provides frozen feeder animals. We buy them frozen and give them new life instead of them just being used solely for food. We will then either process the bodies for the bones, or give the bodies to a friend to use as food for her snakes.

Another work in progress! Got the ears pinned and wings mounted. Now working on detail work with things like adjusting eyes, cleaning the borax off of him and posing his arms and legs using the wire.
