I truly believe that Enid and Ajax’s story isn’t finished. It doesn’t feel like they’re being truthful about their feelings being “gone.” Like Enid gave in to her mom’s ideas about what she is and who she should be with and pretending she fell out of love with Ajax because “I’m not that girl anymore that you loved” is so????? They have to come back together otherwise what was the point of the rats and squirrels!!!!!!

If there’s going to be a musical-related element in the show I’d love to see them play around with siren powers. For example they could introduce antagonist sirens who sing a haunted melody and draw people to them by exploiting their fatal flaw. They could use this to lure Wednesday to the bottom of Hyde Camp Lake because Wednesday needs some sort of magical lyre that has been prophesied to turn wolf Enid back into her human form.

I would love to see a scene where Wednesday doesn’t come back up from the water, and Tyler jumps off the boat after her to save her. He’s able to resist the sirens not because he’s immune to their song, but because in that moment he hyperfixates on Wednesday so intensely that his need to save the first person who accepted him for who he is becomes his fatal flaw.

Have Wednesday injured. Have her ask "What did you see when you heard their song?" while Tyler bandages her wound. Have Tyler reply "Tough luck, Wednesday. I already lost everything you could use against me as my fatal flaw."

Then have them call Bianca and ask her to join the Enid rescue (PLEASE save her from the boring Nevermore grounds). Have Wednesday ask her "Have you ever come across anyone who’s immune to siren songs?" Have Bianca answer "Unless their purpose and their fatal flaw are the same—and without the Corinthian Coral—it’s unheard of." (Wednesday dropped her amulet when she dove into the lake.)

Later, have Tyler’s Hyde friend say "Dude, what was that about? You don't even properly engage with your own pack but you won't hesitate for a second to sacrifice yourself for your enemy?"

And that’s how I get my Percabeth and Orpheus & Eurydice parallels. (Wednesday is Orpheus, Tyler is Eurydice –except every time Wednesday trusts him and stops trying to control him, the narrative rewards her for not looking back. Cherry on top is Wednesday playing the lyre like Orpheus. Bit on the nose but still.)
