Meet Ted

Okay every, time to meet Ted. Who is Ted? Ted is a bunny-log pillow that my sister-in-law made. I found it in a pile of stuff and it was love at first sight, so she gave me the pillow and I named it Ted. Now Ted is a running joke in my family. Everyone knows how soft he is and how he is my favorite pillow. So everyone hides Ted from me. My son is the best at getting Ted. He also happens to love Ted, so usually I find Ted in his bed. He comes in the middle of the night too get Ted from me. So now Ted sleeps with my son and I only get to look at my favorite pillow.

I Used to Volunteer at the Food Pantry, Now We Eat There

I have been poor all my life, and I still have trouble asking for help. It's not something that gets easier. It only gets bearable because there is someone depending on you.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates is a cute little show that is played on Disney Junior. My son is hooked on this show. He has a little Bucky boat that he uses to play along with the show. He is a little behind in talking, but this is one thing that kind of encourages him to talk. He loves trying to sing along with the show. He actually does a really good job at it to! Which is surprising to me because when I want him to talk, he doesn't. 

My son thinks that Captain Hook is the funniest thing EVER. He laughs so hard when Capt' Hook gets into trouble. When we first started watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates, I wasn't sure what to make of it. Why were we following Jake, Izzy, and Cubby. Where was Peter Pan and the Lost Boys? But the more episodes we watch, the less I ask these questions. Peter Pan does make appearances in the series. 

Their is a lot of music through the show. Sharky and Bones ( characters in the show ) do pirate rock. It's pretty catchy. I tend to catch myself singing " Captain Hook is a cranky crook, an odd fish cod fish sneaky snook ". It is so catchy! Enjoy ;)

First Post

This is my first post for this blog. I created it because I thought it would be a lot of fun. I want to share my experiences in life. They aren't always fun, they aren't always bad. This is my life. I'll share with you stories about whats going on. I'll post things that I'm interested in, what my son is interested in and I will try and share my thoughts on everything.
