🐣 ⭐️ 🍀 🎨 for shauna, pls and thank u !! <33
hiii, lex. i'm so happy uve been sitting in my inbox forever and ever waiting on me <333
what age do they regress to? - shauna feels very, like, kiddo to me. she's not the youngest by far, but she's not a teenager either. maybe around 8 or 9? she is such a helper naturally and she wouldn't give that trait up easily. the most helpful ages in my experience are definitely my 7-9 year olds. they are just soso happy to help no matter what it is
who do you see as their main caregiver? - shauna is SO independent. like, stubbornly so. she'll pitch a fit if someone is trying to do something for her or take away whatever she's trying to help with because she's so determined to do it herself. but, I see her listening to tai the most. tai is just a very safe person for shauna, and even little, shauna knows tai always has her best intentions at heart.
a scene that felt very regressor coded? - this one. right after shauna loses her baby and she goes back out to the cabin and starts crying because she's so overwhelmed with... everything. to think what she's gone through in such a short amount of time just reads involuntary regression to me. and it ties back to shauna being indepedent and trying to take care of herself alone.
how do they communciate? - not very well lol but seriously, shauna says a lot of mean things sometimes and you have to sort of decode what she's trying to say because it's hard for her to be vulnerable. it was easier with jackie because jackie just kinda read her. but now that jackie is gone, shauna has closed herself off and has forgotten how to communicate. regression wise, when she needs help, she just sort of brings the object or thing closer and tug on tai's sleeve until tai gets the hint and helps shauna with whatever it is.
