He has a kill count high enough to call a mass murder an 'amateur'. He has infinite money. He has no goals. He likes gambling and is a great liar. When he walks, he makes no sound. He cried in secret about the possibility of losing his best friend at least three times. He fights barehands and when he couldn't use his hands he casually revealed he has two 50kg yo-yo in his pockets. His abusive family used life long gaslighting and magical mind manipulation to convince him that he would kill his best friend and he proceeded to fall in love with said friend and break out of his family influence from sheer devotion. He needs to electrocute himself to power up. He loves his op ostricized trans little sister. He changes clothes all the time. He is extremelly powerful and smart and he knows it. He is a sore loser. If he has no use to his loved ones he feels worthless. He is a middle child. He loves so deeply it hurts him. He is soooo rude. He is so sweet. The Sixth are some of the few characters who actually belong to the genre of the story, to a large extent (besides Harrow, who is a Gothic heroine through and through). They're a detective duo! And every book is to some degree a murder mystery (though Nona is the most roundabout example and barely qualifies). (Hell, the series as a whole is one long murder mystery: who killed the world, and what did he do with the people?)

(Also, like—everything we know about the founder of the Sixth House besides her love of pottery is that she was apparently so “brilliant and sensible and careful” that she created Teacher, she wrote a secession clause into the Sixth's contract with the Emperor, she might or might not have started Blood of Eden but she was their first lyctoral collaborator and double agent, she then tried an experimental approach to killing Resurrection Beasts which may or may not have been a secret plot too, and she fed every other lyctor a piece of her finger… you know, just in case.)
