Please note I blocked out the name of w****** and s***w*****s out of respect, as from most people I’ve heard who are from tribes that the w****** is present in do not spell out or say the name as much as possible as there’s fear that saying the name can conjure one. Not sure if this is the same with s***w*****s, I’ve never heard anyone state that, but figured it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Anyway the answer is … don’t?? I really don’t mean this to be rude, but our cultures are closed cultures for a reason. Don’t appropriate any of our mythology or legends or whatever else you would like to call them. So just … don’t. Play us as witches, vampires, fairies, ghosts, whatever other species in your supernatural rps (I’d say I’m personally wary of non-Natives using Natives to portray werewolves, just because of the association with Twilight and all that racist mess but idk that’s a personal opinion, I’m sure not every Native agrees on this one). But stay absolutely clear of using any of our mythology. Our cultures are closed. End of discussion.

Also I want to say this is safe to reblog if anyone sees it, I have seen supernatural rps this time of year already using our mythology soo….feels like this can be turned into a psa of sorts.

Okay, I literally dreamt this and its cliche af, don’t @ me homie but basically, there are two muses, they’re both really close friends (maybe even childhood friends??) and muse a starts dating this person. maybe this person isn’t the right fit, maybe they are, maybe they’re a bad influence?? idk. but muse b is not the biggest fan of this person but they keep quiet cause obviously, it’s not their choice/relationship. turns out, muse b actually has an unrequited crush on muse a, and basically after a few months or so, muse b just gives up or it slips out that they’re into muse a (maybe they’re drunk?? 👀) and although muse a is taken aback, they’re also hella confused cause they’re not actually sure how they feel about muse b. more and more, muse a realises the person they’re with isn’t good for them or something and. they also can’t stop thinking of muse b in a totally new/different context lkdfgd and all the while, after muse b had pined for them, muse a begins pining for muse b -- except now -- muse b has already moved on and is seeing someone and this sparks a lot of jealousy in muse a even tho they know they shouldn’t be jealous cause technically, they had their chance.

so anyway, maybe muse a inadvertently broke muse b’s heart earlier by being like ‘im so sorry muse b, im seeing [name] here, and you and i are just friends, this is all just so overwhelming etc’, like completely confused. but yeah, muse b obviously hasn’t gotten over them but they keep their distance romantically out of...spite? out of the fact that they actually like this person they’re now dating? no idea. so muse a is basically Frustrated and bitter about muse b’s relationship with this person they’re now seeing. muse a knows they can’t be upset with them though/can’t do anything about it so they just continue their friendship and muse a just...deals. jkghg anyway so yeah, the whole relationship is hella awkward and they have all these little moments of tension and it’s so good. please someone let’s do this lkjfgd
