“Like a princess.” Sabine was being funny, sitting on the bed next to the pile of dresses that she raised a brow at. “Too bad you can’t just throw on the brightest dress you can find.” Though, she wasn’t sure she had EVER worn a dress in her LIFE.

Exasperating loudly, honey eyes stared at the ground, “no.” Her voice more irritated than she’d meant, “not right now, Ezra. I need a break.” She needed to calm, to relax her shoulders and unclench her jaw.
