I work with dogs and the amount of dogs with Star Wars related names is awesome! I now know a Tie (after tie fighter), Leia, Rex (confirmed to be after Captain Rex), Solo, 2 Vader’s, and 3 Obi’s. They are all amazing and one of the Obi’s middle name is Wan.
To the people complaining about the pronunciation of Rotta’s name in the Mando movie. THIS WAS A THING IN THE FUCKING ORIGINALS. GEORGE LUCAS HIMSELF EXPLAINED THAT THE GALAXY IS BIG AND PEOPLE SAY THINGS IN DIFFERENT WAYS.
This happened with Leia where some character pronounced her name like Leah. So of course the same thing is gonna happen with Rotta!
I just realized that Vader fighting Maul is the first time they’ve interacted since Maul tried to run over Anakin in the Phantom Menace.

Star Wars had the chance to do the funniest thing to explain why Obi-Wan didn’t change his last name on Tatooine. What if the name Kenobi was just a super common last name like Smith.
Kenobi is the last name used on undercover mission because there are so many people named Kenobi.
Maul shouts “KENOOOOBIIIIIII” and someone overhears him “oh are you talking about glup shitto Kenobi? He lives just a few building that way.”
Darth Vader instructs a newbie to bring him Kenobi and now he’s faced with 30+ people with the last name Kenobi.
Ezra uses the undercover name of Ben Kenobi and it gets him into shit because of it.
The possibilities are endless. Because all Vader had to do was go to his home planet and ask for Kenobi because someone didn’t change his name while on a super important undercover mission to protect the galaxy.

Maul is like an American politician, believing that other people need more saving than he himself needs.
Maul never knew how the Jedi got their padawans. What if he thought it was exactly like the Sith. That the padawans had friends and family that they missed.
And that the padawans were abused by their masters in training.
What if he truly thinks he’s rescuing all the padawans he comes across.
I need someone in the Star Wars universe to use the world between worlds to go back and tell baby maul that it will be okay and comfort him.
Episode 7 of maul is the most beautiful piece of animation I’ve ever seen. It’s just so gorgeous and pairs perfectly with the tone of the storytelling.
I’ve been reading the republic commando books for the first time and I swear Skirata adopts anyone who has known for 3+ days. First Bardan Jusik, then Etain, now Corr. And this is on top of the 120+ troopers he’s trained and unofficially adopted.
How many mugs has Lawson “accidentally” stolen from work. He’s been shown to bring them home. Does he just have a cabinet full of stolen mugs?
I think that the scene with Maul training was to show that he is a jack of all trades but a master at none. He showed a variety of different forms while training and while he did primarily use Juyo (Form VII) he’s used it less and less over the years. He’s no longer the master of one particular form.
This also shows how he is a good crime lord, but not the best as his men question him (the mandalorians in episode 5 of shadow lord)
He’s good at recruiting apprentices but can either not keep them alive or they switch back to the light side.
He was a good Sith Lord but tossed to the side by Palpatine.
He was able to take over Mandalore but unable to keep it.
Maul’s lack of consistent mastery in lightsaber forms shows his lack of consistent mastery everywhere else in his life.
The command class are just a sitcom group.
