Still so baffling that they made the decision to bring Huyang back and put him with wandering ronin Ahsoka and not rebuilding-the-Jedi-Order-from-scratch Luke Skywalker.

Actually I know exactly why they did that it's bc if Luke had not only an archive of basically the entire history of the Jedi but also a guy who can properly interpret it and guide him through exactly how to Jedi Order than he would not have failed the way he did in canon.

They can't let Huyang anywhere near Luke bc he has to fail spectacularly. They brought Huyang back for cool factor and immediately fucking stranded him in another galaxy bc Luke must never EVER meet him. Kind of a waste smh

making luke skywalker a disillusioned old man who turned his back on the galaxy and worst of all his friends was such a bad take bc yes it could be happen. put that much trauma / burden / loss on a person and realistically they’ll lose their spark. want to run away and give up. but star wars is a story of HOPE. it’s characters are larger than life. luke skywalker’s biggest superpower wasn’t his ability to use the force, it was his heart. he turned away from the jedi code for his friends. he brought his father back to the light with his love. the odds are never in the hero’s favor. they shouldn’t be able to win. the bad guy is stronger, the weight of responsibility is crushing, but the good guy prevails nevertheless. it’s not a character type that is supposed to be edgy or unpredictable or gritty. it’s meant to be a little cheesy and optimistic and hopeful. even when it seems impossible for them to be strong enough, they are. and they took that from us

I really like thinking about how clones boast about their generals when they get the chance-

Especially if they’re talked down to by others I feel like they would very much take it personally and I love when ppl include this in art or fics

212th is the best battalion 4 me at least, not to mention Cody is one of my favorite characters! It’s a shame we barely got to see them throughout the show but when they show up they always take it home

guys . just. clones being soft. having others being soft with them. things that they've never experienced or thought possible.

kissing a clone and seeing them squirm bc wdym ure kissing them. the affection and love that they've only seen in holodramas and maybe in the people they protect, but never towards them.

the first time someone helps one of the clones to take off their armor. . imagine. brain.exe no longer works. someone’s hands gently peeling those plastoid pieces off.

holding hands with a clone in front of their legion/squad/division for the first time must have been so much fun to watch. their brothers are all elbowing each other as they watch whoever it is squirm, pretend whoever is holding their hand doesn’t exist, or just having heart eyes the entire time. maybe they trip over something.

kissing a clone’s hand. you start with small brushes against their skin, barely noticeable and work your way up their fingers before kissing their hand oh so softly as they’re freaking PANICKING on the inside bc wdym ure kissing there! they kill droids and separatists with those!! why does it feel so good!!

teaching any of the clones how to cuddle was probably a mixture of the best feeling ever or the funniest because them not knowing where to put their hands, arms going numb, & both trying to make sure the other isn’t uncomfy so many of the clones would let their arms go numb if it meant whoever they were with was comfortable or falling asleep…

clones learning what it’s like to be cared for softly. gently. with such care.
