This is a tumblr I'm making to help gather ideas to plan my wedding, and everything that comes after!

Getting ready for a handfasting ceremony is a lot of work at times, but I'm loving the results so far!

Working on a new hair routine to get my hair to shape back up, since my husband loves my curly hair. So here are some "before" photos to get this started! He asked his mom and sister for advice so he could help me pick out some stuff to try so I'm hoping for the best

Although it wasn't a piece of the cake, a bit of displaced icing was perfect for my husband when he wouldn't stop trying to cut the cake all to pieces!

It's official!!

So despite everything going on, my fiance and I are still getting legally married at our local courthouse in two weeks. The judge will marry us on the courthouse steps and we're overjoyed that we'll be able get married as planned!

Now, we are still going to have a ceremony, but it will be next year once we've saved up for it some more. Only the closest of our relatives and friends now about this, and they're all getting ready to throw us their own little celebration.

I got the necklace I'm planning on wearing for the wedding!

I'm gonna use these to make the binding cord for our handfasting! There's going to be a wolf head in the center of it to represent both of us :)

I went to the store to get some ribbon, and ended up getting everything for my bouquet while I was there!

Our current rings! Left are our (accidental) engagement rings, and left are what we're calling out binding rings. The engagement rings will be changed out for different rings when we actually get married

So this is our apartment upon receiving the keys. It's not much, but it's in a good location, close to both of my jobs and close to his, and they're pet friendly! So once we get done moving stuff in and around, my little girl can come live with us!

This is how far we've gotten setting up the apartment! The center of that brown shelf is where we're planning on putting the dining table, then the only big pieces of furniture we'll have to move is his bed/mattresses, and we can start making progress on the bedroom too!

My fiance and I moved into our first apartment together yesterday. As I sit on the couch eating, knowing that he's sleeping comfortably in the next room, all I can find myself thinking about is how we've only just gotten this chance. It's only just started.

I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings for us.
