Vulcan is a desert planet, especially the area Spock is from. Those dorks can handle HEAT what they can’t handle is humidity.

you know how for a lot of people being in heat makes them turn Evil(Tm)? Humidity does that to Vulcans. No one notices except for the Vulcans themselves but put these guys in a wet/damp (hot or cold) planet and they’re ten seconds away from breaking a table in half. They’re been talking about philosophy for an hour, no voices have been raised but phrases are getting shorter and shorter. Everyone around them is Worried.

I think Spock can adapt better to the humidity due to his human half but he’s still not used to it at all. Jim takes him to a hot water spring, and there’s a solid five minutes before they get into the water where Spock considers the pros and cons of breaking up with Jim Right Now just so he can return to the ship.

i was looking at my cat sit and stare at nothing for 10 minutes (listening to sounds i can’t hear) and had to relate it to star trek somehow, and yk vulcan's have great hearing!

Really am obsessed with the Vulcans with tails headcannon at the moment. I know realistically it'd probably be a fleshy tail with fur at the end, but I wanna be self indulgent and I think full fluffy cat tails would be sick asf.

Unlike traditional Vulcans who hide their tails due to the emotionsl response they give, the v'tosh ka'tur decorate them with jewelry and sometimes dye them bright colours to bring even more attention to them.

Also tail grooming is definitely a very private and close practice, only between family, or those bonded close to you. Spock letting Jim see his tail for the first time was very big for him (Jim now loves sitting and brushing it and listening to Spock purr when they're alone in their quarters.)

Okay so this post about Amok Time is making the rounds again, which reminded me I never finished reading that magazine. So I kept reading and...

Remember how the Amok Time script that aired was a "tame" version of the original script?

WELL that's the original one. How I wish they would have left this in. I have so many thoughts that I can't put into words correctly. So they were aware of SOME of the homosexual undertones of the K/S relationship? Did they leave the rest on purpose, or did they just notice this one?

So is that why he's called Stonn or...?

This article is so short (I'm pretty much uploading everything but a paragraph and a half lol) but it's a ride. T'Pring who is gaslight gatekeep girlbossing Stonn. The invitation to the Enterprise which can't be regulation. Spock crying again!! But also so fucking rude of Chapel, if she knows about the paralyser, not to say anything lol. I'm glad they changed all of this (except, maybe, for Spock crying).

So yeah. Spirk neck touching communication being pleasant. And the catastrophic failure of removing one scene that could imply a homosexual relationship in the "Spock jizzing his pants" episode that originated slash and modern fandom. Iconic

I think Spock deserves someone who can treat him so so gently because he deserves it, he deserves to let someone look after him for once in his life. (I am weak for the caretaking trope.)

I am mainly a Spirk, McSpirk and Spones shipper but also, have we considered.

Spulu. Spock x Sulu.

I just think they would be quite cutesy together, they can nerd out, Sulu likes Spock's historical ritual weapon collection and brings him flowers. Spock asks detailed and leading questions about Sulu's plants, and goes out of his way to bring him unique and fascinating items when on survey missions.. pretty rocks.

Gotta love being a multishipper.
