“Ghosts are real” I can see how you could believe that
“Ghosts aren’t real” it’s very fair and rational that you believe that
“Ghosts aren’t real anymore” I’m about to hear a poem or very sad story
“Ghosts aren’t real yet” the fuck are you going to do
......suddenly struck by the idea for a piece of worldbuilding of "fae don't like iron bc it is the most stable element*"
*as in elements higher you can extract energy via fission and lower you can extract energy via fusion but iron itself there is no excess binding energy to extract at all
YOU. YOU SEE MY VISION.
People: exposure to the fae realms makes you weak and sickly. Because of the fae
The fae: wow wow wow i LOVE uranium!!!! We should put it ALLLL over our land!!! This won't cause problems!
You can never leave after eating fae food because you get radiation poisoning and also you're now a walking biohazard
The tinkerbell chernobyl post strikes
sometimes people on here talk about "accountability" in a way that shows they think that the person they've decided is in the wrong can't actually do anything to redeem themselves other than like. suicide.

"who do you self insert as when you read?"
This is me when I read:
I think strange horrible things should stop befalling my friends
I think strange wonderful things should start befalling my friends
In American culture it is considered “bad luck” to leave the stove on when you’re not using it
This is from the book "What I Mean When I Say I’m Autistic" by Annie Kotowicz! (x)
[ID: A paper book with section title: "Power Move". It wasn't until my thirties that I learned some people correct factual errors as a power move. That explains why teachers rarely appreciated it when I pointed out their mistakes - they saw it as an attempt to usurp their authority. I also got similar reactions from classmates, colleagues, and others whose authority was equal to mine, because they assumed I was flexing on them.
Nothing could be further than the truth. For me, showing someone where they're wrong feels like keeping them safe from the consequences of their mistake. It's a collaborative pursuit of truth, not a power move. End ID]
