Name a conspiracy theory superior in raw power to âthere are no actual forests on Earth"
imma need some context on that cause WHAT?
âforestsâ = minuscule form of what trees on Earth can be, basically saplings âmesasâ = not landforms, but petrified ancient tree trunks IIRC the theory goes that all forests on Earth were destroyed ages ago and it takes them ridiculous times to regrow, with those giant mammoth redwood trees just being the oldest ones that have grown the most
evidence 1:
This conspiracy theory is absolutely wild and includes the assertion that all rocks are left over remnants of plants/trees from a âsilicon eraâ. Although itâs obviously.. not true.. they really have some amazing photos that feed your imagination of a fantasy world, iâve compiled their best:
do you think giant trees would have proportionally giant branhes or would they just be like furry green spears? LOL
I love how the implication is that the flat tops of mesas were caused by something equally enormous CUTTING THEM DOWN

đą Introduction to Rune Stones đą
Rune Stones are a tool to help you find the answers to the question that you have been looking for. It guides your thoughts to your hidden emotions, dreams and ambitions that you have. Runes are an ancient form of Oracle used by those seeking advice. Runes have a long history, dating back to ancient use by Germanic and Nordic tribes, and are still widely used in todayâs society. The best way to work with them is to ask a specific question, whatever it may be and however, it may apply to your current situation. Although you donât have to be of Norse ancestry to use and understand the rune scripts, youâll have a far better sense of how to use them based on the meaning of their symbols. Having some knowledge of the mythology and history of the Germanic peoples goes a long way in incorporating rune stones into your magickal workings.
This post will cover:
-The Origin of Runes
-Different Ways To Use Rune Stones
-How Do Runes Work?
-What Can I Ask The Runes About?
-What Sort of Runes Do I Need?
-Using a Rune Cloth
-How to Get Started With Using Runes
-How to Read/Cast Rune Stones
-Single Stone Reading
đą The Origin of Runes:
The runes stem from an ancient form of Germanic alphabet, which was used by the Germanic and Nordic tribes of northern Europe, Scandinavia and Britain for writing, divination and magical purposes. Runic inscriptions have been found on stones, jewellery, weapons and objects dating back to the 3rd century AD, but itâs likely that they existed long before that.
đą How Do Runes Work?:
When you cast the runes, itâs not fortune-telling. The idea behind the way that runes work is that, as you ask a question or think about an issue, your conscious and unconscious minds are focused. When the runes are cast in front of you, theyâre not totally random, but are choices that have been made by your subconscious.
đą What Can I Ask The Runes About?:
Some people using runes believe you should only ask about issues, whereas others regard it as fine to ask questions. Whichever method you use, keep your question or issue clearly in your mind as you cast your runes. Remember thatâs doing a rune reading is not about seeing the future or definitive answers. Itâs about looking for possible causes and effects and seeing potential outcomes.
đą What Sort of Runes Do I Need?:
Runes can be made of different materials, including wood, stone, pebbles, crystals, bone or even metal. When youâre first starting out and discovering if you like rune casting, then a simple set will be sufficient. However, once youâve practised for a while and developed a passion for runes, then itâs lovely to be able to choose and buy a special set. If youâre drawn to a certain crystal, such as rose quartz or amethyst, then perhaps investing in a crystal set of runes would be appropriate. Or you can buy a set carved into simplistic pebbles or small pieces of stone
Either way, the material the runes are made of is a very personal choice and itâs what you do with them that really matters. When you buy a set of runes, they will often come with an instruction booklet that explains what each rune is, what its symbol represents and how it can be interpreted.
đą Different Ways To Use Rune Stones:
Rune stone divination should not be used to predict the future. That is not its function. Look at it as a tool for guidance. It allows you to work with the subconscious and focus on the questions that have been bothering you and those which you just need the answers to. As with other tools of divination, always cleanse and charge your rune stones before and after each use.
Before doing any reading, it is best to ask a Spirit, or whichever Deity you feel most comfortable working with, to guide you in your reading. When you are done with the reading session, donât forget to thank the Deity you asked guidance from.
đą Using a Rune Cloth:
A rune cloth is a piece of fabric that is used to put the runes on when reading them. Ideally, it should be a small white cloth and specially designed rune cloths of the right size are available.
When youâre trying out runes for the first time, you neednât worry too much about investing in a special cloth, but it may be something you can explore once youâve determined your love for the runes. The cloth prevents the runes from getting dirty or damaged and acts as a form of boundary for the rune casting.
đą How to Get Started With Using Runes:
Find a quiet place to do your reading and start by having a period of quiet, where you clear your mind and focus on the reading youâre about to do. Think about the issue or question you have in mind and, if you so desire, you can say a prayer or call upon higher spirits to guide you with your reading.
Your rune cloth should be spread on the table in front of you, ready for the runes to lay upon it.
There are various different types of rune castings you can do â which are similar in idea to tarot layouts â but on your very first attempt, you might just like to start by picking out between one rune and analysing its significance.
This is also quite a useful method to use if youâre feeling unsure or uncertain â picking out one single rune can give you something to focus on.
Once you feel happy to progress, then have a go at some of the rune layouts and casts.
đą How to Read/Cast Rune Stones:
There are many different methods to reading rune stones, but for the most part, they involve some form of placing or casting.
Casting is the term for tossing rune stones, seemingly randomly, in order to find an answer to your question. Casting should be done in an east-west fashion upon a white cloth. The stones should be cast from a leather pouch in which they are kept in. Here are some methods for casting or placing that you can experiment with and see which works best for you.
- Daily Reading
For more simple questions, you can focus on your question and pick a single stone out of the bag and contemplate what that stone may be telling you.
- 3-Stone Spread
Focus on a little broader issue you may be struggling with, pick three stones, and lay them out in front of you. Meditate on what the stones may be telling you about your current situation. One way to interpret these stones is that the first is your current physical condition, the second is your present mental condition, and the third is your present spiritual condition.
Another way to interpret a three-stone spread is that the first stone you pick gives you the answer to a past issue, the second stone is the answer to a present issue, and the final stone is the answer to a future issue.
- Full Cast
Think about a situation you would like guidance in (past, present, or future). Gently toss the stones. The stone or stones that stick out the most to you will hold your answer.
- Grid
Lay all of the stones out in a grid. Concentrate on what you want an answer for. Move your non-dominant hand over the stones, and when you are over the stone that holds your answer, you will sense it.
- 5-Stone Cross
Lay out five stones in a cross pattern with one central stone and four other stones around it at North, South, East, and West.
The middle stone represents your current problem or state of mind. The east stone, to the left, represents the past. The west stone represents what you need to deal with or overcome. The south stone represents something you must accept. Finally, the north stone represents what to expect once you have moved through the obstacles posed by the other stones.
All these methods can be tailored toward your own specific means, and you can take time to experiment with what you connect with the most. You may even come up with your own way to read and interpret the stones. The most important thing to keep in mind is to treat the stones reverently and realize that they are merely a tool to unlock your own potential.

being a self-taught artist with no formal training is having done art seriously since you were a young teenager and only finding out that youâre supposed to do warm up sketches every time youâre about to work on serious art when youâre fuckin twenty-five
someone: oh yeah, do this exercise during your warm ups! itâll help
me: my what
Whatâs up I have an actual college degree in art and I was never ONCE taught to do warm ups.
when i was in undergrad, it was kind of mentioned in and offhand way that we should do warmups, but we were never shown what that meant. And, yâknow, we were young so it didnât matter so much.Â
Being older now and having an art job itâsâŚkind of essential.Â
So: a quick primer for those of you who are like âok but how do i actually go about doing this warmup thing.âÂ
1) you may be tempted to do âa warmup drawingâ which is just a drawing that will take longer than it needed to and probably be frustrating and kind of bad because you didnât warm up first. Itâs tempting but always a trick your brain is playing on you! Do not trust!Â
2) warmups will vary based on what feels good to you/what task youâre about to do/what motor skills you want to practice. That being said, some good standbys:
a) circles. Just a whole page of circles on whatever drawing surface youâre going to be using, whether thatâs your tablet or your sketchbook or a drawing pad on an easel. For these circles you should make sure that youâre drawing from your shoulder and not your wrist. In fact, you want to be drawing from your shoulder rather than your wrist most of the time! forever! your wrist is delicate please preserve it!Â
In order to ensure that youâre drawing from your shoulder, when youâre holding your pencil or whatever drawing tool youâre using, the only part of your hand that should be touching the drawing surface is part of the last two fingersâsome people prefer the finger tips, but I tend to favor the first knuckles. Either way, the fingers should really be ghosting over the surface, providing guidance rather than support.Â
I usually start with big circles and then go to smaller circles and lines of ellipses, and then try to fit circles and ellipses inside other shapes iâve already drawn as a precision exercise, but i donât do that unless iâm feeling loose
b) spirals! i donât always do spirals, but if iâm stiff and the circles just arenât cutting it, spirals are a good fall back. I start from the center and work outward, going both clockwise and counterclockwise until i feel comfortable with the whole range of motion. Some people really care about getting perfect spirals but for me itâs all about making sure iâm comfortable with how iâm moving so who really even cares about how the spirals look. Not me!Â
c) lines! straight lines! in parallel! i do a mix of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal. These are often more from the elbow than the shoulder, especially if Iâm working on a smaller surface. For this exercise, I recommend holding the drawing tool perpendicular with the surface
d) connect the dots. This is a precision and accuracy exercise and takes two forms. The first is to draw two dots and then draw a straight line between them. The second is to draw three dots and draw the curve that connects them. This sounds a lot simpler than it is in practice. Take time to ghost over the line you plan to draw before actually committing to your line. (I donât always remember where I picked up my warm up exercises, but Iâm pretty sure I got this one from Scott Robertson. His how to draw and how to render books are very technical but also accessible and worth checking out)
e) cubes, spheres, cones, and cylinders. These help get your brain into a more volumetric space. I draw multiples of each, rotating the forms around, and Iâll often take the time to do some rough shading on at least a few of them
f) spidermans! This one is really good if youâre going to be storyboarding or working on dynamic poses. Just fill a page full of spidermans doing all sorts of acrobatics.Â
g) beans. I donât do beans too much anymore, but I know a lot of people like it so Iâm mentioning it here. Fill an area with different size bean shapes without lifting your pencil off the paper.Â
h) short medium and long line repetition. draw a short, medium, and long line on your page, and then draw directly on top of them 8 to 12 times, doing your best to exactly trace what youâve already drawing. Repeat with a wavy line. Iâm bad at this one, which means I probably need to do it more.Â
And there are lots more options too! Hit up youtube to see what other people recommend, put together your own go-to list, mix it up when youâre getting bored, etc.Â
This is a long list, I know, but I usually donât take more than 10 to 15 minutes to warm up, and I can warm up one handed while Iâm drinking coffee, so, multitasking hurrah.Â
Sometimes Iâll advance to a precision warmup and find that I havenât loosened up enough yet; itâs totally ok to go back to an earlier exercise! Also, all of this has the added benefit of kind of ritualistically getting you into the drawing mode so even if Iâm not feeling it before I start, by the time Iâve gotten to the end Iâm usually Ready For Drawinâ. Brain hacks.Â
so, yeah! thatâs a lot of words, but! Warmups are important! Save your joints, take less advil, do better drawings!Â
Obey Me! Surprise guest guide and other tips
Thank you so much to @ike-sol and her friend for starting out this project, for making the spreadsheet to better organize the data, and for inviting me in to do this with them!
This guide focuses on how to get 3 hearts from the boys after the dance battles without using any item. Also, we only compiled the results for if you get 3 stars in the battle. Letâs get into it!
First, we found out that there are 6 different places where you can touch your Boy. You have the option to tap, or rub these:
The high five (no rub for that one)
The hair
The face
The chest
The arms (both arms work the same)
The hand (for Lucifer and Satan only)
(There is also the option to shake your phone but research has not been done on that because itâs just way too annoying to do)
Important: The shoulder is a lie! It acts as the junction point between the arms and the chest, and can pick up as either depending on the Boy, and sometimes even the side.
Here are the results:

And now for the other tips part:
(Sorry if this is a bit jumbled)
If youâre farming for certain battle rewards (watches, cups, etc.) you will get better results by battling in higher numbered chapters. This doesnât really apply to objects like skulls and above because you can only get them from hard battles, which you can only try 3 times a day.
In battle, little demons of pride never attack immediately when their bar is full. Donât wait for them, itâs better getting your 2 attacks with your whole team and sometimes taking the hit.
Little demons of greed follow anyone that attacks, whether itâs you or other members of their team (when paired with other non-greed). Wait for their bars to get full to attack them all at once.
Little demons of envy only follow you in battle when you are not countering. Wait for their bars to get full to attack them all at once.
Little demons of wrath rarely attack immediately when their bar is full. Donât wait for them, itâs better to get your 2 attacks with your whole team and sometimes taking the hit.
Little demons of lust rarely team attack, usually each member will attack solo at random times. Ignore them, attack with your full team, take the annoyance.
Little demons of gluttony attack immediately when their bar is full, or sometimes one second later. If your whole team has the speed, counter. If one or more of the guys is too slow, take the hit and attack with all three guys when you can.
Little demons of sloth attack immediately or sometimes one second later, in groups of 2 if the team is only made up of sloth demons. When mixed with others, they will only NOT attack if the other two are attacking or have attacked in the last few seconds. Counter only if all your guysâ bars are full. If not, take the hit and attack with all three guys when you can. Beware of their shock attack, even if the game shows you a wide smiley before the battle.
Thatâs it for now!
