Well, here is all of page 7 from Space Hoods since it’s mostly dialogue. 7 lines/sentences was awfully short. :D
“Listen here,” Oliver spoke. “Unhand him.”
“He’s a criminal,” a guard growled.
“And what is his crime?” Oliver said.
“None of your business,” the guard replied. “Move on, sir.”
“I will not,” Oliver said, drawing himself up to his full height.
“Please do,” Wayne said. “It’s fine.”
“It is not fine,” Oliver said. “I’ve had it up to my ears with these Ridinger thugs running roughshod all over…”
“Seriously, man,” Wayne interrupted, an edge of frustration in his voice. “Let them search me. They ain’t gonna find anything.”
“No, I’m going to have my say—”
Before Oliver could have his say, the guard holding Wayne nodded to the remaining guard. Oliver was restrained. He attempted to squirm out of the larger man’s grasp, but it was all for naught. He watched as Wayne was searched, found clean, released, and warned never to come within a hundred yards of the store again.
Oliver was released with his own warning and was unceremoniously dumped onto the dusty pavement as the guards resumed their posts.
“Well, that was almost a disaster,” Wayne grumbled at him. He straightened his jacket and adjusted the shirt beneath until it was as smooth as it was going to get.
“You just had to step in?” Wayne glared at him. “I had you pegged for a good Samaritan, but to be honest, I wasn’t expecting that.”
“It was under control!” Wayne glared at him.
“Didn’t look like it,” Oliver said. “Getting arrested by the guard?”
Wayne huffed and rolled his eyes.
“I wasn’t getting arrested,” he said. “I didn’t do anything.”
Spoiler alert: Wayne did do something.
Anyway, I don’t know who to tag that hasn’t already been tagged, so... that is all. XD
