I wanna get a little fancy for Roez and Noe title so instead of like Digimon [adjective] for a title.

Trial and Error in reference to them being scientist researching Digimon. And maybe to reference coding replace I and O with 1's and 0's.

So like 'Tr1al & Err0rs: A D1g1m0n St0ry'

Or just like 'Tr1al & Err0rs'

Hmm I do like the idea of replacing the i’s and the o’s as ones and zeros, but idk. I feel like I’d probably want to get a bit closer to the basis of what the story is based on, not the characters, or at least go harder into the characters if so.

The main central idea of the story is the barriers between people on the internet. Roez and Noe are apathetic, only really caring for the people they know irl, aka, each other (there is one more character that they care about but I haven’t talked about him yet. But he goes to their school and they’ve both known him for a while. They like him too) and their lack of care about what they see online reflects back on their treatment of digimon, treating them like fictional characters or code. Roez experiments on them, and it’s also a grapple of why should you care about fictional characters too, when they’re just ones and zeros, drawings on a screen

I think I’d probably want the name to do with coding or be a specific name for a science thing maybe. Singularity comes to mind which technically doesn’t fit either of those things but it does have to do with technology and how it relates to humans so yeah. I think I’d wanna brainstorm a bit more

For the second one maybe like Digimon Homecoming?

Like the human returning back to their original world for the most part. And the story is what they considered to be their home.

Ooo, that’s true. There are actually other characters from the digital world who are actual digimon. Flamon and Strabimon who want to get back home to their friends, while Arukenimon and Mummymon have found a life in the human world and have no interest in going back. Plus the MC gets taken in by a human family and sees his partner digimon as a sibling, that does create a feeling of family and home at the forefront 🙂‍↕️

Also the MC’s name is Aimon as the digimon who found her didn’t know what he was and just combined AI + mon for her name and he uses he/she pronouns 🙂‍↕️ #mywokeagenda /j

We’re only finding out recently that a lot of animals have colors and patterns that we cannot see because they’re outside of our visual range. It calls to attention how much of the world we can’t experience because our senses are limited. When we shine UV lights on them, they glow pink or blue, but these are the colors that we CAN see…. they could be a bunch of different colors, which we SEE as all pink. It’s also interesting to consider that most of these animals are not aware of having glowing patches on their bodies…. isn’t it also possible that we have skin or hair patterns that were not aware of? . . (There is actually some research out there to support the idea that our own skin fluoresces as well and that there are gender differences in the pattern and glow.) Trauma and death is interesting because a lot of time, I'm basically making them heal in some way after giving them issues I can relate to. So I'm healing through them. That's why this kind of writing is so important and cravable. It's usually an identity and healing process, not a true "enjoyment". It's satisfying because you get to see someone understand what you understand and even if they fail to survive, they usually find some form of peace or appreciation through other characters... Or just yourself.
