Something i think would've been so interesting to explore was Dustpelt and 3 generations after him being manipulated by another cat even by a lil bit.

Dustpelt of course with Tigerstar

Birchfall with Ashfur, both experiencing the "tell leader there's danger in this specific spot for me" thing. Ntm how much Birch was upset by Ashfur's death, like he looked up to Ash so hard it hurts.

Ivypool with Hawkfrost.

And Bristlefrost and Shadowsight with Ashfur but disguised this time.

I would've loved Dustpelt connecting the dots about when they learn Ash helped Hawk with the trap, how furious he'd be that his own apprentice would put his son through what he'd gone through.

Or Birchfall supporting both his Ivy and Bristle(Shadow too if able to) . Birchfall is already pretty interactive with his kits,I think him being the same with his grandkits would fit.

Him seeming more and more suspicious of Impostorstar as his new mannerisms are eerily familiar. Speaking up for Shadow and Bristle when they face distrust after siding with Ash. All that.

Like, giving me Birchfall being protective of his kin. He's lost so many already, id love to explore that more.

At the same time. Au where Ashfur does go to the dark forest and trains Birchfall there. Birchfall only faltering when it comes to the safety of Ivypool.
