Album Monsters 8- The World is to Dig by They Might be Giants

ITS OFFICIALLY OUT!!!! TWITD is out and I couldn't be happier. There are so so many great tracks that went in directions I didn't expect from this album. Wanted to make a mole out of a mountain for this one. Thank you tmbg for Slow and Character Flaw!!!

Album Monsters 7- Eyeball by They Might be Giants

This EP came out today and I'm over the moon, every single song is so, so good. I would like to credit @bluef00t for connecting Eyeball to green-banded broodsac parasites in snails and inspiring this creature design....the idea is incredible. The shell is roughly designed to look like the cover from above!

We're Only Human

Although DBBQ and Series ENA are such different characters and have such vast differences in tone/lore, the series holds a special place in my heart for introducing me to such great music and for being so wonderfully lighthearted. Series ENA you will always be famous to me.

Album Monsters 6- Tamehime Sama by Jun Togawa released in 1984

I'm quite new to Jun Togawa and Yapoos' music, but her debut album covers so many different topics using such raw, emotional vocals it's become my favorite of hers. The insect imagery is throughout is wonderful too.

Album Monsters 5- View-Monster by Lemon Demon

Went with the barnacle route for this one. Their heads' glowing, fluorescent markings might be concealed bioluminescent thoracic legs.

Album Monsters 4- Flood by They Might be Giants

This one took a while, I tried a couple of different animal appearances but the leatherback sea turtle seemed to fit them best. These have also been posted to Reddit and Instagram if you happened to see them there first!

Album Monsters 3- Glean by They Might be Giants

Further along the series, here is a monster based on TMBG's Glean. Love this album, my standout songs being Erase and Aaa! This one is based on insects infected with the cordyceps fungus, as well as elements from common forests.
