Hi there
"So, since you have asked some questions, i wanna try too.. you seems to know a lot about me, why?"
"Well where I'm from there's a manga series called one piece that follows luffy's adventure" Marcus replied "I think I have a copy around here somewhere" *as he pokes around pulling out a volume of one piece with Franky on the cover*
Artemis Fowl deserved the fandom that Harry Potter got, that series was fucking nuts
Harry Potter: what if wizards played cricket on brooms and a trust fund orphan jock led an army of child soldiers against wizard Hitler also the author is a terf?
Artemis Fowl: What if Hans Gruber from Die Hard was 12 years old and Irish and he and his Eurasian bodyguard decided to declare war on the realm of the Fae also there’s no antisemitism or transmisogyny but a bunch of guns?
First issue of the best Batman run:
Harry Potter: What if goblins were just a really shitty cartoon version of Jews? Artemis Fowl: What if dwarfs could unhinge their jaw like a snake and then dug tunnels by just inhaling dirt and then immediately shitting it back out again?
Unironically some of y’all need to try anime
“I miss 2D animation so much all we have now is shitty 3D stuff why this”
What if I told you… that 2D animation still exists… and is in fact a major industry… easily accessed by The People…
Some of the assumptions y’all make about anime is equivalent to me saying The Nut Shack is representative of all American TV if you don’t want to see Bad Anime then just… ask for recommendations from other people, like you might for any other kind of TV show?
Just FYI
It’s such a cliche in Japan for superheroes to be insect themed (largely thanks to Kamen Rider) that this is most likely the reason Dark-type pokemon are specifically vulnerable to Fighting and Bug moves.
The strongest offensive bug moves, including Signal Beam, Silver Wind, X-scissor and U-turn, are very similar conceptually to the kind of battle moves and secret powers wielded by Tokusatsu heroes.
This makes a helluva lot of sense.
Suddenly the world makes sense.
….oh my god.
Charities/organisations to avoid:
PETA: They’d rather spend their money on publicity campaigns than on the animals in their care. PETA killed 73.8% of the animals in their care in 2015 (x)
FCKH8: Is a for-profit company that exploits oppressed groups for money. They’re also wildly uninformed, and spread misogyny, cissexism and bi/panphobia, as well as stealing their posts/designs (x)
Autism Speaks: They spend most of their money on researching a way to eliminate autism, heighten the stigma against autism and don’t have a single autistic person on their board (x)
Please support other, better charities, and feel free to add any others you can think of to this.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure: CEO makes insane amounts of money, they deny a lot of requests for wigs/help with treatment/etc., and have attempted to sue other charities that use the color pink as part of their anti-breast cancer campaign. ( x x x )
The Salvation Army: They promote the hatred of LGBT+ people, work with fundamentalist Christian groups to support conservative politics and rip off and exploit workers. ( x x x )
Wounded Warrior: They take money that should be spent on veterans and blow it on huge opulent parties for the company bigwigs. 26 million in 2014 alone wasted! ( x x x )
^ Important reminder to NOT waste any money donating to these groups
Reblogging because of the added info about Wounded Warrior.
A good way to know if a nonprofit you’re donating to is allocating their money in the right way is to check out their Charity Navigator rating: http://www.charitynavigator.org
Charity Navigator is a wonderful tool.
Charity Navigator is the gold standard.
this is a blessing bat and you don’t have to do anything for it to work. once u see it you are blessed forever.
Dozens are in hospital, some in a critical condition, after the attack on Kyoto Animation studio.
This is unbelievable. My heart goes out to all of those injured and the families of all the victims. Kyoto Animation is truly a special studio and has produced some of the best TV and Film Animation of the past two decades. When I heard about this last night, I was stunned and heartbroken. I still am.
Hey if you’re doing anti-ICE actions even with above ground groups like Never Again, don’t talk about being there on the internet.
Being effective means minimizing state repression. Don’t snitch on yourself and your friends so you can show up another day.
also do not under any circumstances stream live videos on twitter, instagram or facebook or post pictures from the protests showing non-pixelated photos of participants. police and other law enforcement institutions do monitor social media, and if you’re a dumbass who does these things for social media clout and so your friends can see how radical and cool you are, you are putting yourself and others in danger.
guys amazon is just a half-decent storefront at best and not supporting them is so easy.
like ooo look, a cute mug i want
amazon includes the seller
all you have to do is look up the item and the seller and oh look i found it elsewhere for cheaper, no amazon worker had to suffer for my passing whims
BOYCOT PRIME DAY
SUPPORT THE WORKERS STRIKE
UPDATES ON AMAZON PRIME STRIKE AND PRIME DAY!
The basics:
Thousands of workers in Spain, Germany and the US have been striking leading up to and on Prime Day, Amazon’s biggest sale, calling for better working conditions, pay and health benefits.
Nearly 1,800 Amazon workers (96% of the workers at the San Fernando warehouse) in Spain went on strike Monday during Prime Day, the company’s biggest sales day of the year
Thousands more Amazon employees in Germany are expected to walk off the job Tuesday, the second day of the sale in six warehouses.
Amazon’s website and mobile app crashed for about 45 minutes, due to a computer glitch – the most widespread to date, costing Amazon millions of dollars
In the US, advocacy groups are planning several consumer rallies outside Amazon-owned Whole Foods Market locations to protest the sale of Nazi, Confederate and white nationalist merchandise through Amazon’s marketplace of third-party sellers.
Amazon is still expected to profit more this year than last year. Let’s hope we can keep spreading the word about the boycott and prove them wrong. Spain’s strike is supposed to last through the 18th, so keep boycotting
Poland’s strike is also ongoing. Don’t cross the picket line.

Watch the white gays start to give a fuck now.
First it was the Mexicans, legal citizens born here from immigrant parents, that were claimed as non citizens. Now it’s the children of gay parents. Don’t you see what’s happening? Disenfranchisement. Classic fascism. We’re heading towards a totalitarian regime folks. Trump is a white supremacist and him and his administration won’t stop until they’ve recreated Hitler’s Nazi Germany.
Hitler didn’t start as histories greatest monster, or he wouldn’t have gained the power he got. It was only after he became too powerful to be removed that he revealed his true nature. You have to look for the warning signs and there are a lot of them with the Trump administration. Like, big red flags with glowing flares.
The worst thing is that Hitler had to put some effort into gaining his power, while Trump has been waving his red flags as high as possible since the start and no one seems to care…
What. The. Fuck.
SPREAD. THIS. SHIT. NOW. DO. NOT. SCROLL. PAST. DO. NOT. SCROLL. PAST. DO. NOT. SCROLL. PAST. DO. NOT. SCROLL. PAST. LOOK. AT. THIS. SPREAD. IT.
When undocumented immigrants are detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), they are held in detention until they go to trial where the court will decide whether they can stay in the country. In some cases, the immigration judge will let them go while they await trial if they first pay a bail bond. Bail is set at a legal minimum of $1,500, but can be much higher. The bond is meant as a deposit to ensure the accused will report to their trial. If they attend all of their court appointments, they can get the money back. But many people have trouble coming up with the funds. The average bail bond issued by the San Francisco immigration courts in 2014 was $3,411 and the average cost of bond in immigration courts nationally is $6,500. Bond amounts could be as high as $80,500 on Central District of California immigration bonds, according to a 2015 study by USC law professor Emily Ryo. Donating to community bond funds can immediately “lead to freedom,” she said. Community bond funds are charities, like RAICES, that use funds to post bail and provide legal defense for detained people. This is one of the fastest ways to reunite immigrants with their family, said Pilar Weiss, project director at the National Bail Fund Network.

Reblog to save his life
This is Rhys, my 2 year old cat
You can do whatever you want with him, he never bites or scratches anyone and he loves playing fetch and sucking on soft plushy blankets
Another cat has bitten him and gave him this bacteria called Pyo Thorax which causes fluid behind his lungs. It's a deadly condition, but thank god my mom and I noticed on time so he's now in an animal hospital where they're cleaning his lungs and
He's doing really well at the moment
Unfortuately, the bacteria won't completely be gone unless the vets do a surgery where they open up his chest and clean every little corner of the lungs so they know that all the bacteria are gone. Then again, Rhys is a strong lil man and he's doing fine so the surgery will, according to the vets, go well and he'll recover like any other cat.
But
The surgery is expensive and my mom, who has all the money for the surgery but planned on spending that money on buying new furniture for the house, thinks
"It's a waste of money to spend it all on a cat"
This is why mom wants to put him to sleep tomorrow
I'm not asking anyone here for money.
I'm asking if you can REBLOG this post to convince my mother that little Rhysie's life is worth the money and it's sad to give up on him because he is already getting so much better and he is just soo strong
If my mom still decides to put him down, let this be the post that still keeps Rhys alive on Tumblr , which is where I got his name from❤️
He'd be so grateful if you'd introduce him to all your followers🐾
