The Twisted Slipper, a Crazy 8s Short 

"With the help of his Fairy Drag Mother, a young barista breaks out of the humdrum of his hipster coffee shop life to find the dress and the man of his dreams. Hopefully his nagging stepmother and savage stepsisters don't get in the way."

I was brought on to the hair department by Terra French, a fellow MUA. After hearing the plot of the short, I knew it was going to be an exciting project! The cast and crew were absolutely amazing. There was so much passion and talent on set - I'm so glad to have helped bring this project to life!

Written by Angie Nolan and Sharai Rewels , the dialogue is incredibly entertaining. The costumes, makeup, hair, and set will not disappoint either! Be sure to check it out at the Crazy 8s Gala Screening Party on February 28th.

I had the opportunity to do some makeovers at the Bellami Hair Extensions class at Axis Hair Salon in Vancouver. Bellami make clip-in hair extensions made with 100% Remy Human Hair. They feel absolutely gorgeous and they add so much length and volume to any hair length! They are a must-have for that bombshell look!

Lata Designs at RAW Vancouver presents VISIONARY

Suman Faulkner of Lata Designs is an up-and-coming Designer here in Vancouver, BC. She is a graduate of the Fashion Design Program at The Art Institute Vancouver and a personal long-time acquaintance. Much like myself, she had a different career before deciding to pursue her passion for her craft.  

Earlier this month, Suman asked me to do the makeup for her showcase at RAW Vancouver presents VISIONARY. I jumped on the opportunity to work with this talented artist. Her designs are inspired by South Asian culture and designs. More recently, she released a new collection of pieces made from burlap which were inspired by the custom burlap grad dress she made for Courtney Barich’s Charity.

It was a pleasure to work with Suman and her gorgeous models. I look forward to our next creative collaboration!
