It’s another shift, his third night shift for the week before he has some time off to focus on his research. There is some sort of fuss going on at the nurses station, which isn’t unusual, there is always drama going on in Grey-Sloan.
Levi remembers being that centre of attention. People looking at him wherever he went, their looks full of wonder and curiosity.
Levi can’t blame them for being curious, Nico is one of the good-looking doctors that always gets attention wherever he goes while Levi gets attention for being with Nico. And when Nico left, their gazes turned to sympathy.
He was just an intern then.
This goes on for three days and then they are on to the next topic. The good thing that came out of it is that he gains confidence in himself to go on dates and talk to other guys in Joe’s.
“You look like roadkill.” Taryn remarked darkly as she falls in step beside him as they walk up towards the nurses station.
“Thanks. It must be the blond highlights I got last night.” Levi deadpanned , not missing a beat and not looking at Taryn because that would require energy. He’s got at least six more hours to go before he could crash.
Bailey’s voice could be heard clearly over the chatting.
“This is Dr Henry Choi. He will be the Chief of Trauma. We talked about this as Doctor Hunt is not able to do full time in the trauma unit and since the hospital will be expanding. Doctor Choi and Doctor Hunt will also rotate with the residents.” The whispering had gotten more excited and Levi wondered the reason why until his attention turned to the doctor in question.
One thing that stood out to Levi is that he is tall, handsome.
And Korean.
Levi let out a sigh loud enough for Taryn to perk up and pay attention.
“Why Levi, already having a crush on the new Head of Trauma? He is tall, kinda brawny-ish and Korean. “ She teased, nudging Levi with her elbow into his sides that he winced a little.
“Damn it, Taryn, slow down with the muay thai lessons, okay? Ow, you hurted me.” He whined, which prompted Taryn to do more jabs.
When was his last bite of sustenance?
Its just something I experimenting with, not sure where it goes, I know Levi Schmitt ships has sailed away long ago.
Korean actor is Jung Sung-il.
