Oh, that’s offensive. For all you know, my mom’s name could’ve been Margaret and you just said her name was dumb. I think you’re the inconsiderate one here. I’m afraid Margaret just took your place in my heart. There’s no room for you anymore.

Maybe, but what you said to me was more offensive. It could’ve been, but it isn’t. Fine, it isn’t a dumb name, but there are way better names. And it’s honestly offensive how easy it was for you to replace me. I thought years of friendship would mean more to you.

Oh my gosh, Margot! I’ve been fantastic, I got back a few days ago I’ve missed camp so much. How are you?!

Yeah, I’ve been really well! I know what you mean, I was away for awhile too. What have you been up to?

It’s really sad. Maybe we can get Lia to make fake snow or something. Yeah that and Elf. I’ll always love them both. Also the Santa Claus movies with Tim Allen. Missed you too, what have you been up too?

Oh my god, that is an amazing idea. I’m sure she could do it! We’ll have to remember to ask her. Yeah, those and a Charlie Brown Christmas are my favourites. I love all Christmas movies, really. Nothing really, I was just really busy at home, and time flies, I guess. How’s camp been?

Don’t blame me, blame global warming. How would you know? You know my name, not my story. Margaret is my new best friend and partner in crime. Fine, do as you please. Just know that you’ve been dethroned from my heart.

I blame global warming for the weather, I blame you for being so inconsiderate of my feelings of Christmas. Because Margaret is a dumb name, and there’s no one at camp named Margaret, and I’m irreplaceable. Fine, but it was your own fault.

I already have them, but unfortunately I don’t give presents to the Grinch. I’ll give them to my other friend, Margaret.

That’s not fair, how am I supposed to feel Christmas-y when it still feels like fall outside? You don’t know anyone named Margaret. Fine, but it’s going to be hard to return your presents, so I’ll just have to keep them for myself.

I agree, it won’t feel like Christmas unless it’s Christmas weather. Although I do want to watch the Grinch now, thanks. But it’s good to see you! It’s been a while.

Exactly! And it doesn’t really feel like we’re going to be getting that soon. I just watched it the other day, I was trying to put myself into the Christmas mood, it’s definitely one of my favourite Christmas movies. Yeah, it has been a while, I missed you Percy.

Oh. Yeah, but I wouldn’t really consider that holiday spirit.

Maybe all you need is a little motivation. You know, to get you in the holiday mood.

Yeah? Like what? Cause I already watched a bunch of Christmas movies.

Well, I guess that means I’ll have to give your gifts to someone else.

I mean, if you already have them, it would be a shame for them to go to waste. I wouldn’t want to get you out of the holiday spirit.

This weather is so depressing, I can’t get into the holiday spirit. I feel like the Grinch.

Ah, I see. That’s cool. Yeah, I still don’t know most of the people here to be honest.

It took me years to get to know everyone, and by that time there’s all new people. It’s awful. I’m Margot, by the way.

It actually wasn’t that bad surprisingly. What can I say, she’s kind of everywhere at once and I do like the comfort of my cabin. Yeah, it’s only pretty at first when it’s light fluffy snow, but the slush and stuff is gross. That was probably the smartest thing you could have done, it was crazy.

Hmm, that is surprising. Good, though. That is very Annabeth-y. Did you at least find out if she was liking university? Winter is okay for the first month or so and then it just gets unbearable and all you do is pray for summer. I know, every time I passed I car I pitied them.

True. It looks more camp-y like than a chicken coop. Hopefully it won’t fall down on them though.

Not all chicken coops have to look the same, maybe we’ll have camp-y penguins. Hopefully, we don’t want them to suffocate.
