I don't get a lot of assignments about grief so this was a new experience for me. My client also wanted it to have a "watercolour style". I think it turned out lovely in the end.

I've included the earliest sketch I drew out for this idea. I drew this on my phone immediately after agreeing to the project. I find that it helps to draw ideas quickly so I don't run out of steam or get stuck later on.

Illustration for AARP about elder abuse. The story was specifically about a young woman who was taking advantage of an older man. He paid for her schooling and was going to sell his house for her. Fortunately, his family stepped in and put a stop to this.

I loved all the sketches I did for this. The snake idea in particular seems adventurous as I don't typically get to draw animals. I loved drawing the menacing, manicured hands for the final.

It's been a while but im doing editorial work again! This one is for The Globe and Mail: Globe Style Advisor about recent menswear trends on the red carpet.

It's very rare for me to get a big portrait project mixed with fashion so this assignment was a great one to come back with. I'd love to do more images like this!

For the first time in my life I actually finished an Inktober/Drawtober! Granted it was only 11 prompts but it was just as challenging. I can't even imagine doing 31 of these *phew. I did all of them with ink too! I've gained a new appreciation towards those artist that work mainly in black and white. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to making values via crosshatching or stippling.

I've been working on this on and off since November of last year and I finally finished it💀 I think this took me longer than usual because it's a little different from my usual style. This has a lot of contrast, a lot of shiny materials and It's been a while since i've used black! Needless to say, this was a learning experience and my entire back is crying right now haha.

Introducing The Fury Sisters from Hades! I'm still so captivated by the character design in this game. The sisters alone have such fun shape language.
