I hope one day I’m easier to love.
One of the greatest things about books is that the brain mixes them with your perception of reality, like being high on a book. But the high can last for ages, although dissipate with time steadily, even out of conscious memory.
Some always remains, and adds up through a lifetime. Because of TV's cliches, or the box, or more likely the fact that it doesn't need to be imagined, the mind recognizes its artificiality and it is remembered as media. While books seem to be remembered as life events. Send books to prisoners.

It was the eyes. The secret of love was in the eyes. The way one person looked at another, the way eyes communicated and spoke when the lips never moved.
