I just saw two babies encounter each other in public while being carried by their respective moms and they both waved at each other like when the bus driver sees another bus. Good on you, babies, for recognizing that you are a baby and showing solidarity with other babies

Yesterday while I was at the fair I witnessed a baby girl reach for another baby girl who was crying and once they held each other’s hands they started laughing

That’s adorable.

Meanwhile, my baby brother, who was so unused to seeing kids, kept pointing out “Look, look, baby!!” to dad when he was, himself, maybe three years old. He also stared quite a bit, now, at nine, at his younger cousins and their even younger friend,  because wow, they’e so small???

He kept saying it was “so cute!” when his youngest cousin carried her even younger toddler friend. It’s just funny because he’s always had this “awww, cute” or “wow, they’re so small…” reaction to kids, even when he was still very little himself.
