DIY SNEAKERS

Was trying on white sneakers for weeks now, from all the brands I could find. In the end I realized that I have a pair at home that has a lot of potential to be customised. So I took some bits and pieces ,of intresting white fabrics I had at home, and changed my sneakers. All of it is sewn, some on machine some by hand. I love them and I m super happy with the result! Here are some photos, on the first set of photos you can see how they looked like before.

Kennedy Editorial Photos

I have been super busy so my blog had to come second unfortunately. But now I can have some free time to organise myself and blog again. Anyway this is a jacket that I bought from vintage store for almost no money, old military jacket that was very well preserved. I really liked the colours and some of the details, but i wanted to change some things like fit and add some details. So I made the waist cord part and I hand painted the whole jacket, it gave the jacket very different look, much more personal and a bit more girly. I wear it quite often now. I have been re-constructing some old garments lately, when ever I had time for that of course. I will try to post some photos of other garments that I customized.

Last night I went to a concert here in Barcelona. Les Brigitte, french group, was performing. It was the first time I heard them, my French friends wanted to introduce me to them. I can say that I really enjoyed, it was different, interesting, their voices amazing and performance very good. This video here is from their concert in France, and this is the cover they did from a famous NTM song called Ma Benz, here you see the guy from the NTM entering the scene to sing with them. I can say these girls make you think French are sexy.

New photoshoot I did couple of days ago. I ll try to post the rest soon. Today I hade a lovely lunch with friends in the sun and 21C in Barcelona. Tonight some lovely dinner and some nice parties. Weeeeekend.

My Lebanese friend introduced me to this handmade cosmetics brand, Lush. And ahhh it is wonderful really, I have never seen it in Sweden or Serbia, so first time for me. I m in love with their products, they feel,smell and even look amazing. I love to smell nice and feel soft, nothing more feminine then that.

"ABRASAME" B-DAY LUNCH

Yesterday it was my friends b-day, so she wished to spend whole day with me, how nice is not that. We first took some organic food packages to the upper part of Barcelona, olympic games garden. Enjoyed the sun and the view and the peacefulness, amazing. Then we went to this lovely restaurant with one of the best views, on the roof of the new shopping mall. It's called Abrasame, we hade some nice fish there and enjoyed the nice decor of the place as well  lovely cut-out design in white and grey. And then some shopping of nice body organic products. Love this girl so much, she is my beautiful Lebanese princess.

                               JACKIE KENNEDY STYLE PHOTOSHOOT

Funny enough, couple of days ago I was talking about the elegance of Sheikha Mozah, and yesterday I did I editorial that was in that style completely. Very elegant, very Jackie O style, beautiful styling and beautiful apartment. This style really goes perfect with my look, and colors surprised me as well, not what I would pick to wear but they look really good with my skin tone. This first picture is just a sneak-peak of the styling, both the coat and the dress here are from Roland Mouret. Everything was well organized and whole group of people I worked with was really great. Can't wait to see the final result of all the photos for this editorial.

Sunny Barcelona...such a beautiful city I live in, going to be sad if I need to leave for work. Just so many sunny days during the year, only that makes you happy and smile. Like me on this photo, summer...soon...spring is already here.

                                                 REFLECTIONS                                                                                                                   Another beautiful editorial from Purple magazine, i love reflections. Such a nice mood on each side of the reflection, perfect. And Iekeliene Stange looks so inspiring as always, such a unique face she has.

Wow! I was so amazed by this sculpture, I passed by this gallery on my way home from a casting today. Too bad it was already closed, because now I dont know who the artist is. I will for sure try to go back one of this days to get his name. So wonderful, strong, fantasy like and such a cool choice of materials as well, loved it ! This is a type of sculpture I would love to have one day in my house, so I can be impressed each day when I passed by it.

      SHEIKHA MOZAH - ELEGANCE FIRST COMES FROM INSIDE

I was working with people from Saudi Arabia ,couple of weeks ago, for the first time I got to know there customs and their ways. In business they were a pleasure to work with, they are very responsable and correct. And apart from  business they have so much respect and are easy to get to know well. So after that I was chatting with a friend of mine, from Lebanon, about their culture and about some business proposals, so she mentioned this women, Sheikha Mozah. I was so impressed by these photos, the way she carries herself, the way she dresses, and her charisma and elegance, all respect to her. This is elegance as it should be, but it doesn't mean haute couture clothes, it means a perfect harmony of inside and out.

How cool is this design! So beautiful and it looks so calming to be inside and just lay there whole day! I wish I hade one like this floating on the water in my backyard, imagine...

Aqua-scape is the branchild of Professor Ryumei Fujiki of  F.A.D.S + fujiki studio and KOU::ARC, comprising of a series of portable outdoor installations formulated around the idea of structure and design in nature. The design is inspired by various sources such as the jellyfish, origami and textile, and the principles of folding paper have been adapted to folding plastic. - Echigo-Tsumari -

                                         COCKTAIL PARTY

Last night was super nice, I got to see my lovely girls that I worked with recently. Such a nice ambiance and beautiful people, taxi ride was super super long, it was a bit outside Barcelona, but it was worth it. Can't wait to see these lovely ladies again and work with them in near future. No good photo of what I wore but I can tell you that I used the earrings as u can see and the bracelet and of course the bag.
