OOC: what do you all imagine your characters look like?
I'm not so good at drawing, but I thought it could be fun if we provide descriptions of these guys since they're starting to interact more tangibly with each other!
I'll start
Mazepheles appears to be human, of course, and wears a dramatic flowy red cloak over a black suit. The suit jacket is made such that it sort of turns into a high-low skirt but that could also just be the jacket's tailcoat. It's a very confusing garment. She also wears a small black hat with a long red feather. He has medium length black hair with a widow's peak.
Their eyes flash red when someone says their secret word and they bleed ink instead of blood, but it still looks red under the skin
Ooc: my ideas for the marionette are still under construction, so I may come change this later. The marionette appears to be a pretty regular human girl. 5’ tall. Short brown hair. Normal human stuff. Typically wears pants and a polo with a vest on top. Young, almost childlike, certainly behaves that way, appears to be 19 ish, but in reality is more like 23
the eyes are where things get funky. The eyes start off blue. As they discover they are evil, they slowly transition to green eyes (indecision) and eventually to red (acceptance of evil).
Marionette always starts out games very juvenile. They are so innocent and sweet :3 but the only way for this to happen is if they forget. After being tricked into helping the evil team during their first village, their soul (and memories) were relinquished to hell. Now, they are forced to start from scratch, taking on the role of the innocent new girl each time. If her evil nature is revealed to her, she drops the innocence very quickly and becomes very serious and mature almost instantly. It’s super noticeable
Hell is cruel, so it leaves reminders. Every time she loses her memories, another scar is added to her body, usually in the form of a tally mark on her arms, bleeding for a while as it heals. The memories are totally gone by the time the scar heals. At the moment, marionette has 84 marks on her arms (it is unknown if there are more, every other part of her body is covered by her clothes).
Of course she doesn’t know what the scars mean. So she always lies and claims she got attacked in the woods by a wild animal and shakes it off with a smile (one that unintentionally looks like she is repressing something). Tragic how even the innocent must suffer again and again.
