M-Marli? Holy shit, I thought this entire place died.
The one and only. Unfortunately not.
{She’s been sitting alone and staring at the wall for a few hours now. Solitude has really gotten to the girls head.}
You know, Em, just because youre in an asylum, doesn't mean you have to act like youre bonkers.
Does anyone want some candy? I helped with cleaning the cafeteria, one of the staff game me some for good work
Where were you?!
Well...
At least some people are getting better…
Like who, Anna?
This place is more like a babysitter
Well they’re doing a poor job of babysitting me, that’s for sure.
How are you, Marli? It’s been a while.
That just sounds wrong.
Im fine, how're you?
This place is more like a babysitter
Than an asylum.
I caught sight of a calander.
I can’t believe my birthday passed. It was on the 20th. 19 doesn’t even seem that much older.
Happy birthday!
Abby.. hey I didn't see you in here.
I see you got a new white board.
..
Oh good. Good.
So it’s working.
Can't tell if its working if I don't know the purpose.
Definatly.
I wonder
How sweet would it be if all the patients rebelled against the doctors?
I dont think that would end well. I feel like theyd pump a sedative into the air vents putting us out.
{She’s too focused to know that someone would be standing behind her; the perfect opportunity to scare her.}
Marli sneaks up behind her watching her movements carefully before she tasers Emilia.} Gotcha!
"I need to go outside, these walls seem like they're closing in."
Session #5 |Dr.Turner and Marli|
The older man shook his head in exasperation but his pen down to appease the livid girl. He pulled forward to rest his head against his fisted hand and leveled her with a look. “I’ll stop for now, but I’ll have to pick it back up later in our appointment. I must take notes on you, Miss Kettean. I must.”
Gregory leaned away once more and watched her with his ever-so blank expression. The only sign he was pleased in her returning to the seat before him was the tiny lift of the corner of his lips. The satisfaction in her obeying him soon melted away to cool anger at her comment. ‘Textbook therapist’? He was anything but that, he made sure to be. He… cared about his patients and their recovery. He did. The man tilted his head and sighed audibly at her.
“Don’t say that…. It’s rude.” He waved a hand at her. “Besides, do you even know what a textbook therapist is? Have you read about one? Do they even exist, Miss Kettean? I don’t believe so.” His words were dipped in slight condescension, but it was all unconsciously done. The doctor couldn’t help his arrogance sometimes.
“No.” Gregory murmured as he gestured to the clock. “Your appointment is for an hour and you shall stay and hour.”
"You- you don't have to! Give me one good reason why you feel the need to document everything I do!" She shrieked shaking her head and slamming it into her hands. Marli sighed in her own hands still bouncing in her seat. The writing had stopped yes, but the thought that it would continue later in the session (that she didn't want to be in anyway) made her more jitter ridden.
The young brunette didn't intentionally insult the doctor but the words had seem to ooze out of her. His sigh caused her to roll her eyes a little. Marli at this point knew that she was urking the doctor, but she wasn't regretting it. She never did regret these type of things in these conversations. The girl knew that he liked his patients and was extremely lenient with them. Once, he had let her not go to ISO, instead house arrest and paperwork duty.
Rude She thought, mumbling something in audible under her breathe. "Of course I know what it is." She muttered her gaze shifting up to him. Her eyes were wide as she gazed upon the psychologist who was carefully watching her. "Maybe not, but that statement was extremely, you know what never mind." She said.
Marlis head shot up, "Why? I'm not, I don't- this is so idiotic I don't belong in this stupid asylum, or in a therapy session!" Her chest rose and fell at a quickening pace. The doctor had always granted her requests why was it changing now. "I'm fine."
Uhhhhhh… no.
I’m busy. Try again later.
Too bad, you see I'm busy later.
