Wash felt his chest grow a hundred times lighter somehow and he spun on a heel to whip his gaze to find her, “Simmons-” Ok, a bit too much excitement in your voice, tone it back big boy. Wash cleared his throat and walked over to wrap her in a hug, burying his face in her deep red locks, “I missed you..”

A gentle smile crossed his lips and his hands rested comfortably against the small of her back, “When you just disappeared.. heh- well, I wasn’t a pretty sight, Kimball never told me she was taking you out scouting.”

          Nuzzling affectionately to his shoulder, Simmons hugs the ex      freelancer more tightly as she listens to him speak, a small pout of a      frown tugging at her lips. "I'm sorry, Wash. I would have said      something, but I assumed she let you know." The redhead pulls      back slightly to meet his gaze, lifting a hand to rest it lightly against his      cheek. "You didn't hurt anyone, did you?" She teases--though she      might be slightly serious.
