3 Roles in a Lifelong Learning Process
Hi there! I want to share with you three roles that have been particularly meaningful and impactful in my own life: mentee, peer, and mentor. These roles involve seeking or offering guidance and support to others, and have provided me with valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth. I hope that by sharing my own experiences and insights, I can inspire you to explore these roles for yourself and see how they might enrich your own journey. So, let's get started!
As a mentee, I see myself as someone who is open to learning and seeking guidance from others who are more experienced or knowledgeable in a particular field or area of interest. For me, being a mentee means being proactive in seeking out opportunities to learn and grow, and being receptive to the advice and support of my mentor. I believe that being a mentee requires humility, openness, and a willingness to take risks and try new things. It also involves a commitment to reflecting on my own learning and growth, and to actively seeking out ways to apply what I have learned to my own life and career.
As a peer, it means interacting and working with others who have similar levels of experience or expertise as myself. This can involve collaboration on projects, sharing ideas and perspectives, and providing support and encouragement to each other as we navigate our own paths. I see being a peer as an opportunity to learn from and with others, and to grow and develop through shared experiences and interactions. I believe that being a peer requires respect, openness, and a willingness to listen and learn from others. It also involves a willingness to share my own experiences and insights, and to be an active and supportive member of a community or group.
As a mentor, I see myself as someone who has the opportunity to share my knowledge, experience, and insights with others who are seeking guidance and support. For me, being a mentor means being a supportive and respectful guide, and being open to the unique needs and goals of my mentee. I believe that being a mentor requires patience, empathy, and a willingness to listen and offer guidance and support. It also involves a commitment to ongoing learning and growth, and to staying up-to-date on best practices and research in my field.
As I reflect on my own experiences as a mentee, peer, and mentor, I am struck by the many ways in which these roles have enriched my life and helped me to grow and develop. Being a mentee has allowed me to learn from and be supported by others who have more experience or expertise than I do, and has helped me to gain new skills and knowledge. Being a peer has given me the opportunity to learn from and support others who are facing similar challenges and opportunities as myself, and has helped me to develop new skills and perspectives. And being a mentor has allowed me to share my own knowledge and experience with others, and to make a positive impact on their lives.
Overall, I believe that participating in these roles can be a valuable way to grow personally and professionally, and can provide opportunities to learn from and support others as we navigate our own paths. Whether we are seeking guidance and support, or offering guidance and support to others, we can all benefit from the rich and rewarding relationships that these roles can provide.
Lot of you don't know how to make cover letters in axie scholarships & job applications. Cover letter is like a love letter to the company you want to be with. You have to treat the company as a significant being.
When it comes to love letter, you don't tell them that you are the best for them. Or that you can do a lot of things. Or you're better than the other suitors. That's just like boasting and being arrogant.
Love letters and cover letters are statements that tell them "I can see your worth. I value what you have. I like what you do for yourself. I'm interested in you. I want to know you more, and be part of the team."
You are talking to a human being who also have feelings like you. Try to be more human who wants to feel connected.
3 Roles in Life 1. Mentee
2. Peer
3. Mentor
As a mentee, you acknowledge that you need someone to help you. You admire their strengths and you want to have those strengths too. Being a mentee means being teachable. There's a desire to listen to someone.
As a peer, you acknowledge that you have people like yourself. You recognize their strengths and you want to test your strength with them or to have a social group of equal strengths. There's a desire to socialize, compete or play with someone.
As a mentor, you acknowledge that you can give help to other people. You recognize their potentials and you want to help them achieve those potentials. There's a desire to teach and help someone.
Everyone has multiple roles, and it is simultaneously changing with each topic we have with other people. You could be a mentee, peer and mentor to the same person you are talking to in a single conversation.
You will die...
Many times before you really die
And I will be there
Mourning for each death
Celebrating for each birth
WTF
Sinubukan ko mag-manifest na ichachat ako ng isang specific person tapos ayun na nga. Nag-manifest. Like WTF.
Wtf
Red is red because I saw it as red.
It is red because they told me it's red.
It is red because I called it as red.
It is red because people believe it is red.
It is red because we know it is red.
But red was never red just because it was red.
It is red because someone said it is red, someone told us it is red, someone believed it is red, and then everyone else also believed it is red.
My favorite color red,
why do we call you red?
i hate feelings
but i know i have to embrace them
How do you fall in love with yourself?
The same way you fall in love with someone else. Acknowledge the bad, embrace the good, and grow.

Like influencing difficult arrogant older generation people. And time travelling.
Power comes from the ability to make decisions and to influence other people's decisions.
If you don't know your destination, then don't ask for directions.
