Clark tries to help people even though he doesnāt have powers (Pretty sure this is referring to the NKL based on the promo for the episode, but it could be them and others)

So we open the episode on the gang all in town together getting last minute things for the gala coming that evening when the store next to them gets attacked by a super villain. Clark goes to sneak off and get changed into his suit when he remembers he doesn't have powers so he canāt just go running into the fight. Kara goes to the fight instead and Clark looks on sadly. Opening credits!Ā We then see the gang arriving at the gala with Jimmy and his date along with the news kids. They all go in and the gala is just getting on when the clip that was released where the NKL are missing and Clark goes after them happens. I feel like after the clip he still tries to disarm the guy, but it doesnāt go great and he gets hurt and one of the bad guys is like āWho do you think you are? Superman?ā and in the end he has to call for Kara to come help them and he feels really sad that he wasn't able to. They get all of the bad guys including Jimmyās date it turns out and Kara gets her award and her and Jimmy have a much needed conversation. Lois comforts Clark about not being able to be superman and says he can find other ways to help! They say it's sad that this happens but at least he didn't die and they got to save their future. Then we see another flash to the future timeline with the new superboy and is still trapped by the evil Lex, but now we also get to see Jimmy, Kara and Lois from this future timeline and they are planning on going back to the past!!!

So I think we cold open the episode with Hank giving a monologue and the gang arriving back in Metropolis. After the opening credits (Which might just be the quick ones this episode) The supers fight Hank and Lois and Jimmy break off to go pay Luthor a visit with the scene of Lois decking Lex in the face. The fight starts turning south when Hank pulls out Kryptonite and Kara and Superboy get yeeted away. They meet back up with Jimmy and Lois who get kryptonite proof armor Lex made to go fight him while Lex puts together a prototype thing to test. We then have Kara and Superboy returning to the fight and they have the conversation about their relationship in the future from the clip that was accidentally leaked. them going and Superboy being grabbed but then Clark gets back up and saves his son. Luthor promises them a way to stop Hank and get Lois and Jimmy to go save them, but he secretly also uses this as an opportunity to test out an invention. They use this invention and it does beat Hank, but it also removes Clarks powers which sets up stuff for the rest of the season.Ā

Lex finds out about Superboy (He wants that boy and that boy would trust him considering they seemed close in the future)

We cold open this episode with Hank Henshaw thinking about how much he hates superman and feeling betrayed by Lex after last episode. After the credits we see Lois and Clark going around town getting all cute and coupley. Kara and Jimmy are both sad and kinda thinking about how much they want that, but still don't talk to each other because theyāre being silly. Lois and Clark go to brunch where they get ambushed by superboy who introduces himself and explains some of the crazy future stuff. Jimmy and Kara are off doing their own plot thing together and coming to their own conclusions about their relationship. Also at the same time Lex and Hank are fighting and Lex thinks he has Hank caught, but Hank escapes. The whole gang now with newly acquired child meet up again and all hang out being like yay joy! Before all the screens in the city turn to Hank demanding that the supers die.
Also side note, yes. I do know superboy in this is Jon and not Kon. Yes I have known this since right after episode one. Look, from what we've seen this superboy seems to act and look way more like Kon than Jon and he even had Lex be a big part of what we've seen of his backstory and so Iām very confused, but hoping this episode will give us more of him to make him feel more like Jon? Idk this feels like Tim being so very Jason in the one batman show. Iām a big fan of both characters and this decision strikes me as so very odd since each character is unique and deserves their own love and place in the story. Also I was just so looking forward to having another media Kon that actually feels like his original character from the 90ās and not whatever was going on in the 2000ās so that's disappointing, but I guess Iāll go back and rewatch the reign of the supermen again lol. I do still feel maybe they could do some weird new 52 like thing with him being a clone of Jon or something else entirely especially with the other superboy with the scar in the trailer, but I also think thatās me being delusional since it seems like they are saying this IS Jon and there is no Kon. But yeah Idk Iām not convinced by this decision, but Iām hoping the writers know what theyāre doing and itās gonna be cool and they can do something to turn me around on it.Ā

Mini plot thing with stuff I think is gonna happen in episode 2!Ā
We cold open this episode with scenes of Hank Henshaw being Superman! Kinda paralleling the opening of last episode, but with Hank doing stuff kinda differently. During the episode itself we flip between a few different groups. Kara, Jimmy and Lois hanging out and Lois trying to help Kara learn things. They go out for a night on the town and go around the city when Jimmy is pulled away by another girl at one point during the evening (This is giganta). She turns him into a weird dog thing and he then gets turned back not long after, but is kinda weirded out by this and some other things, but Giganta doesn't let him go and turns big and grabs him. At the same time Clark is trying to get some stuff done around the city, but keeps running into Hank. He tries to let Hank do the hero thing, but sees how heās handling it and decides he needs to step in. Hank and him end up fighting, but Clark has to leave to go help Jimmy with his giganta problem (They use the cool watch things!!!). Superman then shows up like we see in the trailer when Giganta tries to swat at him while holding Jimmy. Hank is upset and sees something and is like ah you came back (Thinking its superman) and gets WACKED in the face (Itās Kon! I needed a way to add him in). Clark's fight with Giganta isn't going great, but Kara steps in and helps him! They defeat her together and Jimmy goes to thank them, but Kara leaves upset because of some of the things Gigana said and Jimmy leaving hanging out with her for Giganta. At the end of the episode the gang is worrying more about their futures and relationships with each other and as they do we see a shot of the group from the bottom left of the villain screen I had said might be an evil future version of the gang and we see them coming back in time to the modern day!

We get to see the guy again!!! I donāt think he will get to really interact with any of the main cast, but I think he will get lots of comments on his outfit and then maybe tries to help with the villains in the episode!
We get to see Clark getting attacked by the lady with the kryptonite whip this episode! I feel like this is also the potentially the person we see Kara fighting in the one teaser image since she seems to have the same gloves
As tempted as I am to say Kon is the friend, I feel like itās Lois as she has been pushing for her and Jimmy to get together and I feel like it could be some advice on that as well as I feel like it might take an extra minute for Kara and Kon to become friendly with each other especially if he does have that clone origin after Karaās stated dislike for clones back in episode 1
Lois chasing a story maybe against Vicki, but I think it will either lead her to toyman (maybe she sees Winslow and recognizes him from season 2 or she sees and follows Bizzaro around)
I feel like Jimmyās mistake is gonna be something with Kara. Maybe he brushes her off at the convention or upsets her in some way idk.
Winslowās back after season 2! Idk if he is working with Task Force X or Luthor or just doing his own thing, but heās back!!!

We cold open this episode with Clark stopping the bank robbery. Things go bad for him, but Kara comes in and saves him. After the title sequence we get to see them arriving at the con! We see the scene with them bringing in the boxes and setting up Jimmyās stall with the comics. Kara gets dragged off to go do supergirl things and Lois sees Winslow and goes after him so then Clark and Jimmy are left at the stall leading to their convo from the trailer. Clark wants to be there as superman, but also needs to be scene as a civilian enough too and possibly worries for Kara as she doesnāt have a civilian identity yet. Kara catches up with Lois and tries to help her go after Winslow, but Lois wants to investigate and not go in guns ablazing like Kara is prepared to do and they end up having a conversation about secret identities as well as her feelings for Jimmy. During the con we get lots of comic references from the cosplayers as well as we see both Bizzaro and Kon in the crowds, but people think they are just superman cosplayers. Also we see cosplayers of the rest of the 1998 Young Justice group (PLS PLS PLS PLS). Toyman attacks the con and during the fight a bunch of people they think are in danger get saved and they donāt know by who (It was Bizzaro and Kon). After the fight Kara tries to make a move on Jimmy, but he acts like he doesn't get it which hurts her feelings. At the end of the episode the gang is worrying more about their futures and as they do we see a shot of the group from the bottom left of the villain screen I had said might be evil future gang!

Hi! So my friends have encouraged me to make a little post explaining my theories and such for each episode this season before each episode comes out! So this is gonna be a (hopefully shorter than my normal) post where I talk about what I think is going to happen in the episode (mostly what's gonna happen to Kon, lets be real) In the episode! I also Might include thing's for later at the end just for sillies and stuff I don't THINK will be in the episode, but wanna bring up now just incase it is so I can say I guessed it if it's right! I already played around with this idea back during my season intro analysis so a bit of this is repeating from the last few paragraphs of that, but I do have a bunch of new stuff too! I also haven't seen any of the new promo from today if there is any since the episode is today anyways and with this little time left I'd rather just get to experience it!

WHAT I THINK THIS MEANS:
This happens during halloween. They get costumes hopefully!
I think Sam will end up spilling information about the cloning lab or he is supposed to come for halloween at the Kent's but ends up finding and getting stuck in the cloning lab and then Lois having to come save him. Either way I feel like this conflict leads to them arriving at the cloning lab!
The fact it's partially at the Kent farm isn't too important other than maybe they bring him back there at the end of the episode, but I also could see them not bringing him back yet and then them actually avoiding the farm most of the season cause they get too busy and thats a plot point. Although with the fact I'm pretty sure they brought up that Lana is gonna be in this season they might actually go back to Smallville a bunch this season! They just might not bring Kon...
Kara and Jimmy having feelings for each other and being silly is very great and I'm very excited to see it!
Ok I think the friend Clark is gonna make is Kon! Maybe he gets separated from the rest of them in the cloning lab and finds him and they work together a bit idk! But I want think that he at least meets him this episode and they get interactions
Ok so the bizarre adventure I think is them going into the cloning lab and probably having a run in with Bizarro at some point as well as finding Kon!
BIG THINGS I THINK WILL HAPPEN THIS EPISODE (not confirmed from what I've seen):
We meet Kon
We go to the clone lab
Bizarro is in the show and we meet him (I think he's the long hair guy we see Clark fighting at 12 seconds into the trailer)
We set up the future/multiverse versions
Also kinda an extra bonus thing idk if it's gonna be or if it will be revealed at all, but the foliage we see when Clark is fighting who I presume is Bizarro in the trailer at the 12 second mark is weird and purple. This makes me think of what we see from the other world Mallah and Brain go to in S1E6 and S2E7 so maybe that happens later if we do go into the multiverse stuff (Maybe that's where Clark ends up cause he doesn't die for the reign of the supermen plot so he goes into the multiverse) or maybe they just have similar stuff in the cloning lab because of however the cloning is being done! Maybe they're cloning kryptonian plants too and thats what's everywhere cause they do look similar to what I remember from S2E6 when they walk around the projected krypton and S2E9 in Clark's fake krypton!
That being said I don't think any of the purple foliage scenes with the white robot things or the guy I think is Bizarro are this episode.
SO! Now I'm gonna just basically right a mini plot thing with stuff I think is gonna happen in episode 1!
We cold open this episode with the cloning lab. We see Sam running in the dark and it's kinda spooky and something is moving! Then we end him run past a room with a tube with a superman logo in it! We then do the intro sequence and afterwards we see the Kent farm pumpkin patch flamebird clip we got to see early in the one interview! We then see some silly scenes of the gang, but Lois is really worried about her dad cause he once again hasn't come to something important to her. She's sad cause halloween was like both of their favourite holiday when she was growing up so the fact that he missed out on this one is really sad. They try to make the best of it etc etc, we get Jimmy making a reference to dog's and kara being confused, but then they find out he might actually have been taken since he was out looking for Waller before this (Dude idk this definitely isn't right, I'm just spitballing). They go to where the think he might be and find signs he was there, but no him. Clark is in his civics still cause he doesn't want Lois's dad to think he let her go into danger alone again. They fight the creature that we see in the trailer with the "is this a dog?" scene and they defeat the guy before venturing deeper! We then see the scene when they find out this is a clone lab and go big uh oh! Bizarro fight here maybe and during it the see the tube with the superman logo and are like THATS NOT GOOD EVIL SUPERMAN IS A NO NO THAT DATA SPHERE WAS NOT FOR OUR UNIVERSE NOPE, but someone accidentally clicks and free's the superman logo clone and everyone is like OH NO! They get Bizarro down, but now there's this other guy and before the smoke even clears from his pod Kara starts fighting him. They tussle a bit then we finally get a good look at the guy and it's a kid??? A scared and confused looking can't be older than teen kid!??! (Probably like 16). So they are like UH OH! And Clark tries to tell them to stop fighting, but then in all the commotion the building collapses a bit and they get split up into Kon and Clark together and Jimmy, Lois and Kara together. Clark actually talks to Kon and reasons that he doesn't have to be afraid and all that! Kon probably reasons that he wasn't afraid and all that blah blah. They get some bonding while Kara, Jimmy and Lois get some too and it's cute and they they come together at the end and they don't find Lois's dad yet, but they get clues for where to look for him! Anyways then they all escape and they free him and it's cute! He also probably steals his leather jacket while they're escaping or something cause I think thats cute! Afterwards he needs a place to live, but possibly they don't know who exactly he should stay with so he ends up staying with Clark and Jimmy since Kara just moved in with Lois so they already have all that going on. Clark hasn't let Kon know he is superman yet so thats gonna be fun, but oh well thats for next episode! We then end the episode on them being like yay new friends! We will find Sam! Nothing can go wrong! And then as they are saying that we see cyborg superman creepy face being operated on like the photos that were released as well as a foot coming out of a portal (OOOO foreshadowing)!!!

Kon El In My Adventures With Superman Theories S1 E6-10
YES IM LATE ON THIS IM SORRY I'VE HAD A CRAZY WEEK! So I'll not be able to post the rest of these before S3E1, but thats ok since I already have them written (Just need to grammar check them) so I'll post them in the next few weeks and we can see how stupidly wrong I was! Anyways here is my analysis for S1 E6-10 and reminder I wrote these back in like February so I didn't have any real info on season 3 so some of this might already be disproven :p.
OK SPOILERS FOR: Maws. Just the whole thing ok? I reference things from S2E10 here so just the entirety of S1 and S2 (Not the tie in comics tho!). I also mention a few random things from comics Amalgam Spider-Boy, Man of Steel #23, probably a few others, but nothing really big or in-depth for comic spoilers here! The Reign of the Supermen movie and comics I reference a bit, no big plot spoilers, but I mention the existence of some things in those stories so be warned for that. Also the fanfic Buy Back The Secrets gets mentioned (IT'S REALLY GOOD GO READ IT IF YOU LIKE TIMKON).
My Adventures with Mad Science
First intro:

Mutants (not name, but created in tubes sooo)
CADMUS!!!! This is of course where Kon is made in the comics! Itās also the place where a lot of the tech in this world was developed especially for scientific discoveries! This could very well lead to being the location Kon is created either in the past or more likely by Lex when he is working for TFX or possibly afterwards if he takes over the old cadmus lab! It's also possible if he's not created by Lex or if heās created by Lex and someone else that someone is an old Cadmus scientist. Most likely I see it as being that Lex creates him with most of the tech we see in episode 4 I talk about in my analysis of that episode, but with segments of tech or research from Cadmus that we see here that Luthor gets his hands on when with TFX! Itās also possible that Mallah and the Brain get bored and accidentally or are tricked into helping Lex make Kon cause SCIENCE!!! Idk I think it would be very cute and funny to see Cadmus help make Kon at least partially as a reference to his comic origin (And although they are very important to his history, I think you can leave all the stuff Cadmus does and make it so Lexcorps does it like in reign of the supermen and it has the same effect, I just think its silly if they have Cadmus and Kon in a series and donāt acknowledge the being connected at all), but also even better I really want monsieur Mallah and the Brain to be there or there tech be used in Konās creation so they can be like crazy gay science uncles to him and like show up and give him guns tell him heās doing great and leave! Like wine aunts but uncles and mad scientists!
One piece of tech we will probably see Kon interact with either as part of Lex controlling or making him or just in general is the red sun omega field! This is of course using red sun energy to lower kryptonian powers and so I could see Lex using it while he's making Kon so he doesn't break out and maybe the NKL break the light or turn it off to help him escape or he uses it on him later to try to regain control of him or something fun idk! Red sun and Kon just makes me think of chapter 5 of the fanfic Buy Back The Secrets lol. (I was rereading it to a friend while writing this lol).Ā Imagine a scene like that!!! I'd love for a scene like that to happen with Timkon in this, but I know that's entirely unrealistic, but I could see a similar (Although Lois probably in a lot better shape then Tim was in that episode. Probably just knocked out and handcuffed), but it would be a cute way to give them a heart to heart with Kon without his powers maybe talking to Lois about his insecurities cause he feels he can trust her (a bit like he does in Reign of the supermen!) and maybe also we could have her realising heās just trying his best and he isn't a bad guy, but actually just a literal child and then she goes you are my son now! And protects him! I could also see this being where he reveals the truth in portal theory about not being from here and tells her either about his Lois or his friends back home (COUGH COUGH BOYFRIEND TIM)
We see a black hole in this episode! And of course at the end it is stabilized into a wormhole and Monsieur Mallah and the Brain go through it! This is also what leads to Mxy getting into this reality! The fun thing with this is this could lead to Kon getting into the MAWS reality from another one! This is the basis of portal theory my good friend @heliomuse! This would help explain why Kon is here with a younger Clark and why Kon has more tan skin even though he was born yesterday and probably has Lex and Clark or parents. Now I also wanna suggest the tan could be due to come solar power being used for perhaps his advances in growth and testing or maybe even something to do with the red sun omega field like I mentioned earlier or if his DNA isnāt just 50% Lex 50% Clark (Which is true in the comics a lot of the time!)! Anyways! This could lead to a kon from another reality making his way into the MAWS one while being older and having a tan and possibly being from a different time period (so he can still be all his 90ās boy self) as well as throw in a bunch of fun references and sillies and just generally be the menace he should always be allowed to be! I love this theory and think it would be super duper fun to see! I don't think itās too likely since we have explanations for all these things in the universe and I donāt see them super pulling into the multiverse, but I still think itās a super fun idea!!! Also I wanna see Kon at his bratty arrogant fresh outta tube wants to be good, but needs to learn how phase as well as see Lex be a manipulative mean man towards him, so maybe itās better for him to just be from our universe cause I see portal theory having a more mature (or how mature Kon can get) Kon and Iād love to see him early on when heās still kinda an A hole and bratty arrogant teen and we get to see him grow into himself all while being quippy and sassy and silly and playful and spunky and beautiful!!!
Now this is something super small and not really gonna be anything, but this tree is floating in the one background! Itās a detail seen all around the military invasion site from task force X. It's never really explained and we don't really see anything else with the ability to lift things like that, and although itās not exactly the same for some reason (Well probably cause I was just thinking about my Kon powers section for the Konpendium) my brain thought this looks very similar to how Kon lifts stuff with his TTK. This is like one of my most no basis not important things this episode, but I thought I'd write it down anyways cause I think it could be possible and would be very cool for TTK research to be done at Cadmus cause that would be a perfect way to group Cadmus research with Luthor making the clone! Cause in the original comics cadmus got a hold of superman's corpse and found a weak field around his body which they then amplified and put into their clone, so it could be that Cadmus did the research on TTK off of some of the kryptonian tech and then Lex finds it and uses it as a way to stimulate the kryptonian powers in the half kryptonian! Idk I just think Cadmus should be involved somehow in Konās creation and having it be old research that comes back (since Cadmus is no more and Lex has access to it through TFX) makes sense to have them included!
AT 6:53 WE SEE TUBES!!! Yeah fully expect me to put everytime I see tubes in this show down as potential tubes for cloning Kon. I donāt like these potential cloning tubes nearly as much as I liked the ones in episode 4, but they are tubes and they are at Cadmus ANDā¦Ā
THEY ARE THE TUBES GROWING THE MUTANTS!!! Although back in S1E4 I theorized the material for the parasite tech that's being seemingly grown in the tubes seems organic, that tech and type of organism seems more like plant, fungi or maybe even some weird form of bacteria. And even then that material seemed more technological and mechanical in nature despite its squishy grow-y bits. These pods are growing the mutants and since they not only seem to move and think on their own (them helping in the fight later and the idea that Nessie and other mutants seem to have been lost in Scotland therefore having thoughts and feelings of their own to want to leave Cadmus and live their own life), but they also seem have their own little sounds and personalities further punching the idea this technology could be used to create the boy!Ā
I feel like (although since I want the NKL to find him and so have the lab closer to the action and all I would rather the tubes from S1E4) either these tubes are used to create Kon or better the technology used here is later studied and used by Luthor to make Kon. The fact that the technology Cadmus was given to work with also seems to have probably been from zero day and therefore kryptonian means that it would also have great connection to having Kon come into the story. Maybe the studies they performed here to create the mutants are found by Lex while working with Task Force X and then later used by him to make Kon! It would be a fun way to include Cadmusās research, but still have his origin based in a metropolis with Lex and Lexcorp!Ā
It's also possible that with these experiments they did successfully create a clone and they can do something where that is Match, but heās unstable and Kon was the second one kinda like in the young justice TV show, but I much prefer Matchās characterization in his earlier appearances working for the Agenda (Or in this case probably in a later season working for Task Force X or Lexcorps) and trying to take Konās place. I could also see them doing it this season I guess with them changing out Kon for Match during the season, but I donāt think it hits as hard if we donāt have time to get to know Kon first before heās swapped out.
At 6:58 this computer is found in seemingly the same room as all the mutants and the tube, so maybe it is the computer we see Lex using or at least hacking into to find information on creating more life with kryptonian tech and all of Cadmusās research! Cause at the end of this episode I donāt think they destroy any of their research so it would be cool for that to come back to bite them with Lex using that technology against our main crew!
At 8:37 we see a door that seemingly duplicates the person who walked in it! Itās not exactly cloning per say, but it's a duplication of peoples and could maybe be used to lead into some tech discovery by Lex?Ā
At 16:27 we see the Mutants outside of the tubes. They remind me of the failed clones in the reign of the supermen movie with their many different colours and forms. This could also be a callback to those or just show how kryptonian tech can create life or how Lex was able to make a successful clone in a shorter period of time since he already had the research about the mutants to use. This could lead to Kon seeing them as his brothers and Lex using them to build Kon and possibly manipulate him. Also the mutants who were created by Mallah and the Brain being connected to Kon and giving them a connection into the mad scientist gay uncles I want them to be to him!
NOW WE GOT A PORTAL!!! PORTAL THEORY!!! SO! Basically! This theory is one me and my good friend @heliomuse talked about back in the first week of 2026 and itās based on the idea that the Kon in season 3 of Maws is gonna be from an alternate dimension! Iām gonna talk a bunch about the theory here, but I also plan on making a dive into each big theory I have over in the āThe big theoriesā section (This was originally written in a google doc and that's another tab of the doc). Basically the idea in connection to this episode (cause I have another version of the theory with the LoLL in S1E7) that a (Probably more mature and developed) Kon travelled through a portal made by Mallah and the Brain and ended up in the MAWS world! This could allow us to have a more mature Kon as well as have a lot of funny commentary and references from him! Also makes the timeline nicer with him coming into the story with a less mature Clark (although I donāt think that's the end of the world and honestly like the room that gives Clark to mess up and grow) as well as possibly giving a good reason for him to be tanned (if he had the time in Hawaii like in the comics, although I donāt feel like those super need an explication as well as them being able to be explained in other ways (Ex. Kon has more of a tan because his half human DNA doesnāt give him the same sun protection even though he also absorbed the sun for his powers!)) This could also work with a younger Kon (taken from his timeline sometime after reign, but before the end of YJ and preferably before Sins of Youth). This could grow the multiverse we see through superman file X in S1E7 as well as give them an interesting relationship with Kon maybe having some resentment for how his Clark treats him vs this one and maybe Luthor manipulates those feelings, although I donāt think good any version of Kon (I can be proved wrong and I both mean good in the sense they're a good version of the character as well as good in the sense that im leaving out evil versions of Kon) really would act like that since they all seek Clark's approval and in comics Kon even has a friendship with kid Clark when he meets him!
I think portal theory could also connect to Lex if he finds the studies by Mallah and the Brain on the blackhole and uses it to bring in another version of superman (and ends up bringing in Kon) this could be a fun way to include this worlds Luthor in the story and have him still have some stakes. I also think this works if Lex finds a younger Kon who comes out of the portal and ends up manipulating him a bunch. It could also have him trying to bring another version of himself in and then Kon from his world follows to try to stop him.
Brain says the tech reacts to him, and I know that's just because heās Kryptonian and all that, but maybe Lex used his DNA to activate stuff and then to make Kon too! Since the tech is reacting to him maybe he even sets up a tricky trap thing to get him to make the thing go off which then in turn takes his DNA and makes Kon that could be very cool! Either with Clark knowing about it when it happens or more likely Lex keeping it a secret!
Also I feel like idk if we see Lex at Cadmus in S2 (we donāt Iām pretty sure), but as their previous guy looking at the tech, Ivo, kinda went insane and Lex is kinda picking up from what they were having him do, then they probably brought Lex there or worse comes to worse gave him their tech.

Due to her mistrust of Clarks, maybe she took care of her worlds Kon cause her Clark became a bad guy and then something happened to him and she has his jacket now! I don't think this is super important, but if we use LoLL portal theory then maybe she has some connection to that Kon or if the LoLL comes for Kon in any portal theory maybe she helps him cause she sees her son in him. Let Lois and Kon have a mother son relationship PLEASE IN ONE UNIVERSE AGHHHH.
At 8:57 we see a legionnaire's flight ring! Although this could be connected to a lot of characters, Kon did use one for a short time in the comics when he temporarily lost his powers!Ā
Mxy is introduced in this episode and he does have a run in with Kon and YJ early in the ā98 run as well as his son? (I donāt quite remember itās a bad comic) Micky is very important in the Dark Crisis YJ event (Although that comic sucked and went against a bunch of the lore and characterizations of the characters so :p)
Kryptonite may be used against Kon or to keep him restrained in all the same ways as the red sun omega field like I mentioned earlier.Ā Also could possibly be used in a termination serum like in the Reign of the Supermen movie!
Zero Day (1)
First intro:
The shock collars task force X uses to keep the inmates in line could be used on Kon later on. Though more likely they use the bigger modified collar Clakr has on in the next episode or even more likely something with kryptonite.
Clark unlocks his superhearing in this episode. Itās likely Kon will have this power too if not right away when heās older (If his aging is stopped then much later, but it's in his genetic makeup in the comics Iām pretty sure so he should develop it later on theoretically. I think he has it in the comics later on, but I can't quite remember an exact instance so idk for sure).
When Lois first sees Vicky Vale she talks about how she broke the Queen inheritance scandal. This is of course a reference to Oliver Queen aka Green arrow which is really fun and I really want more Green arrow content and a MAWS style show would be so fun. What does this have to do with Kon?.... Uhhhh idk lol. Konās archer is Cissie, but she has no real relation to the arrows other than when Amanda made her that one time in recent comics, but that was just weird. Other than that I think Mia and him were on the titans together for a time, but that was in a weird era for his character and he and Roy and Artemis know each other and are even friends in the Young Justice Tv show, but that Kon is an entirely different character. Rich families could tie in to Bruce and more importantly for Kon, Tim and like I said Iād really love to see Tim and Bruce as civilians in season 3 cause I think having Bruce run around with Lois and Jimmy both helping and acting incompetent would be so funny and Iād love to have Kon there too and have him and Tim interact cause I just love them way too much. Also we've had a Vicky Vale episode every season and I think that would work perfectly for season threeās!
Itās mentioned that she took down the falcones too (which was probably more so Batman, but she got to write the article on it and take the credit because Batman wants to stay a cryptid in the shadows. But the Falcones are a big time Gotham crime family so this could be a direct tie in to Batman stuff and that means Tim and then we could get Timkon PLEASEEE.
In this episode we get to see Captain Imenant again. (Should this have been in that section and not here? yes, but I thought about it before watching this episode so itās here now) This is the first person we see Clark save as superman (well after his introductory fight with livewire). In the comics, Konās first big screw up is letting a pilot die in an accident. It weighs heavy on him and actually leads to some very great character building on both his part and on his and Steel's relationship. I really want him to have a relationship with steel and I'm very hopeful he will so :D!!!
LEX IS BACK!!!! Yeah Iā m just gonna mention him like every time heās on screen cause like. I feel he will be the one to make Kon. He is in the comics and him having his DNA makes so much sense and him manipulating him. I LOVE MANIPULATING AND MIND CONTROLLING THE BOY!!! Also just like 90% of my theories are surrounding Lex so Iām gonna talk about him when heās here. He calls Clark the end of the world and it makes sense that he revisits that line in season 3. I see him saying it while Kon is on the floor trying to resist the mind control and then he says something about how āYou're the end of the world. Iām its saviour.ā and then sends mind control Kon after him. Honestly this whole monologue just sums up Lexās motivation and all so I feel like it could be parallel in season 3 especially if the tower is used by Lexcorp and therefore becomes a primary location.
Also I still think this is the tower that is gonna become Lexcorp tower and where he clones Kon!!! (See my theories in S1E4) This room could end up being remodeled and reused for another fight in season 3. I think this tower will be a prominent location in season 3 and we will revisit it a lot with Kon. I can even see a scene similar to the one in the reign of the superman movie with him and Lois in front of the glass at Luthor's building or possibly a scene with Luthor and him. Idk I think big window scenes are aesthetic.
Maybe Kon fights some of these villain people? Idk im just enjoying the fight scene rn and think its possible depending on the theory that he either works with or fights many of these characters (War of the Supermen type you know)Ā
When Clark is fighting the villains in the Park he gets hit into a statue that oddly reminds me of the statue we see Clark was buried under in the death of superman. If Clark does die (Which I donāt think is likely) this statue (as it kinda gets broken in the fight) could get repurposed into the statue and place he is buried if he dies or a monument to him if he goes missing or something).

Zero day is where all the tech comes from so of course itās important for that and for being what would bring the things to make Kon as well as adding to the fear and all that would lead to Lex or whoever made him feeling the need to do so.
Clark getting told heās not a hero, heās a weapon would be a very Kon thing to be told and therefore I can see it being parallel very nicely in S3. Especially since Kara goes through a similar thing they could tell Kon āWe know what it feels like to be seen as a weapon. To be told your only purpose is to hurt people and cause destruction. But you can choose. Choose to be who you want to be.ā
Ok I just had the thought that Ivo keeps yelling you promised me superman and if we get a Kon in season 3 who thinks he is superman, well he might say that and get attacked by Ivo. Could be a fun moment for him where he realizes being superman isn't all fun and fame and beating up bad guys and he might realise he actually has to be smart with his battle and use his head to defeat Ivo instead of going in all brash and headstrong. Also it would be fun to see him figure out how to take down Ivo cause he wouldnt know and somehow even the people who know how to deal with Ivo always end up just SUPPLING HIM WITH ENERGY.
OK MENTION OF THE NEWS KID CLUB HOUSE!!!! PLEASE TELL ME THEY BRING KON HERE IN SEASON 3!!! IT WOULD BE SO CUTE!!! I wanna see him just chilling in their clubhouse or sitting on the roof with Flip. Maybe when heās angry a Luthor and wants someone to talk to they have a heart to heart on the roof or maybe if there's a time between him coming and Clark accepting him and letting him stay with Ma and Pa (although I feel this Clark will be much more accepting and I hope he gives him the name Kon-El!!!!)

At 16:21 we see the name Flamebrosephinecampbell is a reference to Josephine Campbell who is one of the series co-producers and writers! She is the one who said in an interview about S3 that she is most excited for superboy so I am very hopeful they do a great job and love seeing this little reference to her in the show!!!Ā
At 16:22 we see the name PeteRoss61. Clark has a childhood friend from Smallville who has this name and who is the ex husband of Lana Lang (who I'm pretty sure is possibly gonna show up in season 3 and is at least in a photo at the Kentās in S1E10 (at least Iām guessing thatās her). Their friend group as kids in the comics was Lana, Clark, Pete and sometimes Lex (depends what continuity you're in for if they meet as kids, in MAWS we know they donāt so yeah. That's great and all, HOWEVER! There is another deeper cut character who also shares this name! In the Marvel and DC Amalgam Universe there is a character based on Peter Parker and KON and who is named Peter Ross and goes by Pete. This is partially a reference to Peter Parker as well as the fact that this version of the character is adopted by Thunderbolt Ross, as well as being a reference to that childhood friend of Clarks. His DNA is half Clark and half Peter (I think? And Peter is just a normal scientist in this) and I just think it's fun that right after the co-producer/writer who said sheās excited for superboy there's a name a variant of superboy has had! Although based on the fact many of the other usernames such as Bibbo and Lori (Who I mentioned in the timeline section when their posts were on screen with the time). At 16:23 we also see the name Lana Lang as someone commenting so Iām guessing they're just throwing around characters but like HAHDGHAGSHGAIDH I love the fact that it could be interpreted as a very deep cut Kon thing!!!

Have to point out Lex on screen in some building (I can't remember if this looks like Ivoās tower again? It kinda does, but I can't say for sure Iāll check on next rewatch) but the line when Lois says ābut we humans are capable of causing hurt and pain tooā¦ because we wanna punish those who donāt look or act like us.ā and it has Lex on the screen and I think that will play into his motivations and storyline going forwards and parts of that can come into his relationship with Kon.Ā
Idk why Clark and Lois standing next to each other is just making me think about how much I want to see Kon and Clark have a height difference!!! I want Kon to float above him at the start when they talk because Kon probably feels intimidated and wants to be higher than him (he would do this to pretty much everyone) and also just cause he is a floaty boy and as the season progresses and he learns to be a better person/hero he starts standing normally while talking to people and then he hugs him!
Amanda has taken over Task Force X!!! This is important for the future cause she will be the one to build up task force X next season as well as the one to hire Lex into task force X!Ā
The omega canon Ivo made could be used by Luthor or someone else in S3 against Kon to weaken himĀ

This pretty much means nothing to Kon other than the fact that Lana Iām pretty sure is also said to be a character arriving in S3 so they might interact then. Also the fact this looks to be him around the age his powers manifested makes me worry maybe he pushed her away afterwards in fear of hurting her and that could be something he regrets and thinks back to in season 3 and then he gets to teach Kon to not do that and repeat his same mistake maybe after Kon accidentally causes some destruction and feels guilty about ti and is going to push people away so he doesnāt hurt them.
WE GET KRYPTONIE AFFECTING CLARK!!! We can imagine this is gonna have a similar affect on Kon as it does on Clark so fun painful times for the boy yay! I know I've already mentioned how the kryptonite could be used as a euthanising Kon thing like in the Reign of the Superman movie or how it could be used to keep him contained as they work on him or once he stops following Lexās orders as well, but also it could just be used to hurt him! Or maybe even Lex makes him partially immune to it or something so he can stand next to his kryptonite metallos we see in S2E7!
Also of course in this episode Jimmy figures out that the Kryptonite can affect the tech too. This could be used either to destroy the lab Konās made in (assuming it uses kryptonian tech) or some other tech in S3.
Clark is fully ready to sacrifice himself at the end of this episode and I feel like Kon might do the same thing in season 3 (especially since Kara does it in S2 too and Ik too much repetitiveness isnt good, but if they change it up enough it can be more of a motif/ callback/ reference. (Especially if my mind control Kon theory I talked about back in S1E4 comes true (Which I really hope it does its one of my favs, gives a great story for Kon and Kara and also possession!))
KARA!!!!! Now I think most of the brainiac stuff is over now except for for Karaās character more so so I donāt think it will be super relevant to Kon other than Kara herself and MAYBE Lex getting some tech or stuff from the brainiac attack (Maybe stuff for cyborg superman or Eradicator if theyāre going down that route especially considering the fact eradicator program was what Brainiac used to control Kara) although we do still have his mainframe thing-y so that could end badly...

OMG THEY REVEALED THE OPENING SEQUENCE AND OMG!!! I. HAVE. THOUGHTS!!! As always most of those thought are about Kon, but like is anyone surprised at this point?
So yeah your typical spoilers for the season 3 opening sequence as well as any other promotional material released up until today (June 10th) (so that's trailer, the little blurbs the creator posted, the one clip and the random contextless photos posted to twitter the other day) and MAWS Seasons 1 and 2 (Not the tie in comics tho! I don't mention those!) Anyways ON TO THE THEORIES!!!
OK SO! IM SO EXCITED!
Before I get distracted ranting about Kon I wanna say I LOVE this new intro sequence! It feels so similar to the first 2 seasons while still having its own little sillies to it and it makes me so happy! Makes me wish we got one for season 2!
Kara's addition as well as the little changes made to Lois, Clark and Jimmy are so cute! Her little smirk and hands on hips after she lands is precious!!!
The villains screen is so intriguing and It makes me so excited!!!
Ok so in the intro sequence we also get the villain screen just like in the previous two seasons! In the one we get some new face we know like Lex and Cyborg Superman as well as the guy we see fighting Clark like 12 seconds into the season 3 trailer. We also see some old faces returning like Waller, Slade, Mxyzptlk and intergang (I like to imagine they're all there and Kyle is just invisible)! Now what really intrigues me is the new faces! The guy at the very centre infront of Lex is completely new and I could easily see being some new kryptonian person? Maybe whoever started the attack on Zero day? Maybe a Zod? I could also see it being an evil super from a diffrent timeline like the ones from the data sphere. Also the big long hair guy who replace who I had been theorizing to be possibly maws's eradicator (Don't think that's the case anymore) I actually have no clue who its supposed to be now. Maybe a blcokbuster??? Idk. And then finally there's the group of 4 in the bottom corner and them THEM I haven theories about! But those theories also have to do with Kon so they're in the next section!
KON!!!!
LOOK AT HIM!!!!
So first off This suit is different from his normal one (Specifically the part by his waist and the jacket might be darker, but I think thats just lighting as well as it has a different looking collar and no buttons). Now this could be just a different version of his suit or something, but I have other theories to throw out too. Mostly the fact he has a SWORD?!!?!? WHOEVER DECIDED TO GIVE KON A SWORD YES!!!! He also should have TTK but also SWORD!!!!!
Also I can't tell if this is cause of the next part (Where the yellow rips him) or if he has a scar, but
Anyways I really think he could be a version from an alternate timeline or an alternate future and there's gonna be two Kon's (I know I've been saying there's gonna be two of everyone (I'm even gonna do it more later on in this post), but that's just how I see it!!!) I think this separate Kon could be the one from an alternate universe. Maybe even the same one as some of the bad guys for the season hence why he is in the MAWS universe now. I think he would be from the future, but maybe not the future of our timeline, but instead another universe thats just further along then ours (just like now the Lois's in the league of Lois Lanes seem to be various different ages). I also do think it would be very possible that the league of Lois Lanes come in at the end of the season and thats potentially when it's revealed he is from an alternate universe or that there is more than one Kon in the first place!
To be honest, this could also just be the same Kon, but I'm led to believe this isn't the case if the scar is real although I would love to see our Kon get a sword! In my head tho Idk if they would just do the "he is from another universe" thing unless it ends with him staying in our universe since I've already seen a lot of hype around him even now before the show is out and the writers seem to like him so I really think they are gonna be keeping him around (I ALSO WANNA SEE HIM STILL BE AROUND PLEASE HE'S MY FAVOURITE)!!!
Also! This concerns me!
My boy! He looks so sad and scared and just AGHHHH!!!! The way he fades away here makes me think of Wally being ripped apart by the speed force right at the start of rebirth! (ONE OF MY FAVOURITE COMIC MOMENTS OF ALL TIME!) I could see this being the visual for when the older Kon fades away after they manage to divert off the path set for them and his alternate future fades away or something like that (If they go with the alternate future direction which idk if they will) anyways this makes me think we will get some good Kon angst which is very yummy much appreciated by me!
I would still like to see a version of Kon be created in our universe and I think it's very possible with the fact we see them in a cloning lab in a bunch of the promo (Something I think will be in episode one too) as well as they actively talking about how they are trying to clone kryptonians. So I easily think there will be a newly born Kon in this season and he will be our main one even if there is another one there too! (Also I'm a sucker for early Kon stories where he gets to not understand a lot and mess up a bunch and really learn to be better like in the reign of the superman comics and movie!)
So the group in the bottom left corner of the first image (see above) to me seems to be some alternate version of our main cast. Id say from left to right Lois, Clark, Kara, Jimmy. I think this could be a potential alternate universe where they are older, but villains. It could be cool to show like a potential where they don't do the right thing or maybe they start heading down that path this season and them seeing themselves like this make them realize these are not the people they wanna be so they decide to change. Idk this could be cool!
Anyways! Now I'm gonna write off a little thing of my current MAIN theory for what Kon's plot will be like this season! I say main really lightly since I think I've thrown probably over a hundred theories out there for season 3 since January and so this is really just what I am feeling right now in this moment as I'm writing this and will probably change by the time that you are reading this! But here is my go at how I could see Kon's ark going for season 3 as of the info I have and the direction my brain has decided to take it right now!
Kon is introduced in episode 1. They find him in the cloning lab weather they free him or he escapes himself (My current thought is one of them free's him by accident and then they think he's going to attack them cause they were fighting other creatures earlier, but then they realize he's just a kid?) anyways then they all escape and they free him and it's cute! He also probably steals his leather jacket while they're escaping or something cause I think thats cute! Afterwards he needs a place to live, but possibly they don't know who exactly he should stay with so he ends up staying with Clark and Jimmy or Lois or something (I'd say Lois just cause of the one photo where she looks annoyed and clothes are all over the floor could easily be from him, but for some reason I think those are more likely Kara's and Kon stays with Jimmy and Clark, although I can feel this going either way and I flip flopped on it a lot while writing this.)
Episode two is where we see him with the bear and he's just helping out at the convention and potentially with toy man although I also feel it's quite likely he doesn't quite understand property damage or he's having a bit of trouble putting his implanted knowledge to practical use or something like that (I don't see that being in the knowledge they implemented into his clone brain) so he potentially makes a mess of the place (OUPS!) He also might almost accidentally reveal clarks identity cause based on their outfits I could see this being the episode we see the trailer clip where he doesn't get Clark's disguise as well as since from the other trailer clip Clark is in civies when toy man attacks I could see Kon not doing too great in the fight potentially cause like I said implanted knowledge doesn't mean he can put it to practically use 100% correctly (He will be able to get there pretty fast, but not great) and so he's being beat up by toy man and see's Clark who hasn't been able to run off and become superman yet and is like "A LITTLE HELP?!?!" And Clark just has to act confused or like Kon was talking to someone else cause he doesn't wanna reveal his identity.
After this episode I dont have much concrete since we don't know anything really about specific episodes from this point on so I'm just gonna do some more broad things!
At one point in the season another Kon shows up. We don't know there two at first and the others might potentially worry this was a different clone or something that they missed in the cloning lab, but later on it's revealed this Kon is from an alternate dimension! Our Kon then gets to either meet this potential future him and they're chat pushes Kon to be even more the best version of himself today or future him talks to the others and gets them to give their Kon that pep talk (I like 2 more) and get all the love and support he deserves from the rest of his family! The whole gang then teams up and defeats the evil Lois, Clark, Kara and Jimmy and because they defeat them / because they make that future no longer possible the future Kon fades away like how we see in the opening sequence. Also at multiple points they fight cyborg superman and he is maybe even the one who brought the evil future them through to our world! Also in this I'd imagine Lex either made or is partially responsible for the creation of Kon.
There's probably more I could say here, but I'm too tired to think of anything else right now lol.

OK SO THEORY TIME! Also there's a screen rant article that I got the first two images from that I'm going to reference in this too!
Ok so! Starting off with photo 1, Kon looks beautiful as ever and is coming out of some weird green place. Now I've already seem some people calling it a Time Machine and saying he'S gonna be their son from the future and although thats not the theory I've been mainly going with (Tbh I don't REALLY care as long as he is Kon and he has the right personality and is a good adaptation of the character). So I think this could be some room in the Lexcorps building or the cloning facility (possibly they're the same place considering the fact I still feel it's possible Lex makes Kon). Idk what he's looking at, but perhaps it's him seeing a part of the facility for the first time or seeing something there he wasn't supposed to. Not sure, but to me his expression is giving taken aback / confused a bit. I could also see this being him when he first arrives/leaves his tube and is exploring around. He doesn't seem to understand what he is looking at, but considering he is most likely a tube baby, this could be just about anything they either didn't mentally fill him in on or that he is just experiencing for the first time. Like this could even be him walking out and seeing the sky idk!
Photo 2 shows Clark and Lois and Clark looks rough. Now we know this season is going to partially do the Reign of The Supermen storyline from the comics, but without Clark dying. Now I feel like they could easily still severely injure Clark or have him loose his powers or have him be captured or missing instead. I could see this shot being from Clark right before he pushes that final bit that causes him to be taken or injured or I could see this being him and Lois reuniting after his return.
Photo 3 Is so cute with Lois and Kara seeming to get along and Kara not fully having a secret identity yet or at least not really getting it if she does, but I'm gonna be focusing more on the little details. For starters there is a guy up on the one upper floor in a black and red shirt that almost looks like it could be a play on Kon's T-shirt look from the 2000's (I don't think that's Kon, just a reference)
The shirt in question and I wanted to include the red head next to him cause having these two together made me think of Tim and Bart and although it's definitely not them (black hair guy feels too tall and I think the red head is a girl?), but it could be a fun reference to them.
Now the REAL thing I wanna talk about for photo 3 is this little guy down by Kara's foot!
OK! SO THIS LITTLE GUY! I think this is either Clark or Kon! Now I really hope it's Kon for a few reasons (not just cause I want more Kon I SWEAR! I HAVE REASONS!), but I'll lay out my ideas for both.
So if this is Clark I feel like he's probably worried about his secret identity being compromised cause of Kara's antics, but is also a silly little guy! If he looses his powers I could also see it being from that and Kara is the one flying Lois off to go to stop a crime and chase a story and then Clark is a sad boy cause he is left behind. I also think the skin tone matches Clark more and the body type is hard to tell from that far away. Also I love the idea of him and Kara having matching shirts, BUT I have an even better idea for that!
KON!!! Ok so I am of the belief this is Kon for many a reason! So first off his pants are the same colour as his super suit and I fully could believe this being a case of him just throwing a t shirt on over the suit and calling it a civilian disguise lol. (I know his suit has long sleeves so they should show, but Clark had the same thing happen in S1E4 so it's fine!) Now the bigger reason I want it to be Kon (Other than the idea of Lois and Kara taking him to the mall or wherever this is being adorable) is cause he is wearing a blue version of that colour shoulder shirt. In the same photo Kara is wearing a pink one and we already know Clark has a red one from S2E10 so how cute would it be if all three of them had matching shirts!!! Also it doesn't look like he has glasses, but it would be hard to tell from that distance. Also to me as I said the body type is hard to distinguish, but to me it look more Kon, but the shirt is too big for him then Clark.
Ok so! As my good friend Rusty pointed out when I showed them the photos Kara is fighting someone with black fingerless gloves in this photo. They through out Cyborg superman as the one she's fighting as he has dark blue almost black gloves, but we both agreed the Skintone was too light and the gloves too dark. I went back through the trailer to look for others with black fingerless gloves and found that the lady with the whip (Idk who exactly she's ment to be yet) has black gloves as a closer skin tone) at 9 seconds into the trailer has black gloves so it could well be her!
In photo 5 we see cyborg superman. now idk if we have seen any part with him just missing the bottom bit of his face yet, so it seems his face will be broken and rebuilt many times across the season maybe. Also idk who he is fighting here as we have yet to see him fighting during the day I don't believe.
Photo 6 we have Clark at what seems to be a new location! I don't really have much to say to this other than his pants and hair seem to indicate he was in cities before this and not in his super suit.
Photo 7 this seems to be from the same episode as the gigantic shots we had in the trailer! She seems to be flirting with Jimmy so I definitely think we will see some jealous Kara that episodes.
Photo 8 Is just Kara flying above earth but from her pose I can't tell if she's looking back down on earth and reminiscing or something or if she is being chased and looking to see if they are following her. It is reminiscent to me at least of the shot of her at the end of S2E4 where she is in the armor suit.
Photo 9!!! This seems to be Lex watching a replay of a fight between Clark and some tech he has filming him (maybe one of his robots or maybe even Cyborg superman himself!). I do like the idea of Lex studying Clark like this rewaching his fights (makes me think of the 2025 superman movie). I definitely think he could be secretly using and manipulating Kon into joining on his gathering of superman info too, weather that is by manipulation or deceit or some for of tech or control he has over Kon idk!
Photo 10 is very sweet and could even be Clark reminiscing over Smallville and the farm! Maybe he is even trying to explain it to Kon that would be so cute!!!
Photo 11 Lois looks like a mess and someone just showed up at her door! I would like to say maybe Kon found where she lives and came by (Luthor maybe told him to go after her cause she is close to superman and gain her trust), but I think she is looking too high in the doorway for it to be him (unless he's floating up there which I could see, but I think its more likely her Dad or Clark coming over. Maybe her apartment is a mess cause she has Kon over and he is being a menace tho or Kara moved in with her or something. Also her door handle is diffrent from last season and although I think its possible it was just an accident I also think its possible Kara (or maybe even Kon) broke it on accident one day and they had to fix it lol.
Photo 12 just seems like a silly little thing with Jimmy and Kara and Lois at the Kent family halloween thing! I still think Kon could show up here and people just think it's a superman costume that would be silly, but idk if he would be that far out of metropolis. Unless he crashes here by chance or something and is taken in by the Kents idk.
OK ARTICLE ANALYSIS TIME!
Now in the article they mention Superboy a few times (YAY!!!) I'm just gonna go through the article and talk about anything that I want to!
In the 2nd paragraph they mention how Lex will play a vital role! Now we know that he will be part of the creation of cyborg superman, but I also think he will most likely be involved in Kon's creation too so that could add on even more to the vitality of his role in the show! Also idk what Clark's transformative journey will be, but I definitely think Kon will get to play a role in that too so yay! Same with Kara adapting to life on earth since Kon will also have to adapt to a life with normal people and I think it would be very cute if he spends the whole season being full out there and fully hero so Kara can look at him like that and Clark with his secret identity and that and choose what she wants for herself and hopefully help Kon get there too and learn he can make his own choices and be his own person too!
In the 3rd paragraph they mention that they found the first half of the season stronger, but tbh I don't care I'm sure it will all be great, I just want Kon!
I also think that like they mention in the 4th paragraph Kara adjusting to life on earth maybe she does it across the season and at the end Kon decides he wants to too and she helps him along cause he can do it too! Especially if Kon finds out one of his dads is Lex then they can bond over the whole "our dads are evil" thing and she could help him overcome any guilt he is feeling from that!
Also in paragraph 5 they mention Lex's creations leading to the series biggest threats and although I'm sure this is referring to Cyborg superman or the weird looking white robot type things this could also refer to Kon cause especially if he has his TTK (PLS PLS PLS) he would be a big threat if he was on the other side. Also they mention that it's a surprisingly darker season so HOPEFULLY THAT MEANS MORE KON ANGST YAY!!!
In paragraph 6 they mention the replacements for superman and say the biggest of them is superboy so YAYAYYYY!!! They also mention how the superman family of characters just seems to keep growing YES!!! PLEASE GIVE ME KON IN THE FAMILY YEEEEAAAHHHH!!! Also I AGREE DARREN CRISS IS THE PERFECT ACTOR!
The 7th paragraph they talk about how Kon is funny charming and one of the season most vibrant parts which makes me so so so happy cause AS HE SHOULD BE YEAAHHH!!! They also say he adds a new dynamic to the core cast of characters meaning IS KON A CORE CHARACETRS?!?!?! PLEASE I NEED IT!!!!! GIVE ME SO MUCH KON-TENT I NEED HIMMMMM!! Also him pushing the story forward in new emotional ways makes me so so so happy!!!!
In the 8th paragraph it's said that towards the end of the series a new side of him is revealed and he gets calmer more emotionally charged moments and that they show off how he was a perfect casting choice and I'm SO HAPPY!!!! YAY!!! Also Lois and Clark seeing if they truly see a hoe in one and other is so cute!!!
The 9th paragraph they say a major thing changes the show at the halfway point. I think this could be Clark being taken/injured/loosing his powers most likely. Also they mention super boys arrival as being part of the first half of the season and I really hope it's early as can be cause I want as much of my boy as possible!!!
In the 10th paragraph mentions that there's a lot of emotional beats (YAY!) and that Clark kinda takes a backseat durring the later half of the season (Hence my theorizing about him getting hurt/kidnapped/powerless). Also the finale being exciting is cool and the idea of surprise returns is very exciting! I'm so curious as to who! Myxlplyx? The league of Lois Lanes? Someone from the tie in comics? (That would be awesome! I think Kon and Amazo could relate) IDK! But I'm excited to find out!!!
The final paragraph brings up the ending of the season having 2 major reveals to set up for a season 4! A new threat (someone very big by the sounds of it like maybe whoever planned zero day or something like a Zod or maybe with the reign of the superman teaming this season a Mongul or something like that? IDK!). The other one being a big game changer to please fans and forever change the series in a positive way (I'd love to see this be a new friend for the gang (maybe a Bruce or Diana, but I don't see them coming in unless in civies maybe although I REALLY want Kon to meet Tim and the rest of YJ (PLEASE GIVE US TIMKON AGGGHHHH)))

Kon El In My Adventures With Superman Theories S1 E1-5
Hi! So I've mentioned this in previous posts, but basically back in January I wanted an excuse to rewatch MAWS again and decide to rewatch the whole show, but specifically to take note of every possible connection to Kon so I could come up with theories for Season 3! I've decided to post them here for others to see and hopefully get some joy out of too! A good amount of this has now been disproved or very unlikely from even just the little bit of season 3 promo we have but WHO CARES! This can also just be a log of how wrong I was so I can be teased and look back at it and go "wow. I was an idiot". So yay!!! Also a lot of this is also just me talking about how much I love Kon and the show and trying to come up with fun ideas of things that could happen! (There's like 2 pages of my google doc just on his possible connection to manhole covers so yeahhhh....)
So yes! This is the first post and I plan on posting the rest in half seasons (and then the first and second half of the tie in comics) in the coming days so I can finish posting it before season 3 is out! I also mentioned people who are first introduced in episodes. Idk why lol it's not really relevant, but it's something January Mars decided to do and I don't feel like changing it!
Also I'm not an expert on any of this and some of the stuff I talk about from the comics may be wrong since as much as I try to do my research I've definitely missed things or misunderstood things and as much as I try to read and research you can't trust everything online and I don't own every comic with these characters (yet) so I haven't gotten to read everything myself and there will be many a mistake I am sorry.

He has the word āGuardianā who worked at Cadmus and was there when news kid legion broke Kon out as well as he is a worker at Cadmus and (sometimes from my understanding) another clone at Cadmus in the comics and Young Justice tv show. He also is seen a bunch during Konās 1994 run even being one of the ones to help him out and train him when he lost his powers temporarily! Overall him and Kon interact a lot in the comics and also having connections to Cadmus, although heās a character I doubt we will see in the show other than maybe a name cameo like this or the art later this episode, I still thought it would be fun to mention his connection to Kon cause Iām gonna try to mention everything even possibly relating to Kon in this!Ā

THIS IS SO PERFECT!!!! THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT FOR SHADOWING FOR IF THE NEWS KID LEGION being the ones to either free Kon from the start, after luthor gets/has him or the one to help talk him into being a hero. The NKL have had a good amount of importance in the show so far anyways so having this be their storyline in season 3 would be so cute!!! Depends on what Kon backstory we go for, but if heās made in this universe especially if by Lex or some other facet of task force X I think itās very likely and would be very cool! And either way it would be cute if they have a friendship with him, especially since it would be a very fun way to include the news kids as playing a role in the season!Ā

This episode introduces us to Lex (or Alex at this time)! As he is the main suspect for who both made Kon and provided ~half his DNA I will be watching him very closely. Some of Ivoās mannerisms pre-parasitification remind me of an early 90ās Kon. This could help in a theory he was made at Amazotech before it went under, although I find this VERY unlikely.Ā The more likely thing would be if he was made using some of Ivoās old tech and maybe it was programmed in?? Idk I'm coming up with anything and everything at this point lol. ( I HAVE A WAY BETTER THEORY ABOUT THIS PERSONALITY THING POSSIBLY BEING A THING LATER I PROMISE IT COMES BACK UP THIS FIRST PARAGRAPH IS VERY RAMBLY, BUT IT GETS MUCH MUCH BETTER!!!)
In the secret lab thing in Ivoās tower we see many things. Firstly idk if this has been confirmed? I donāt remember where Slade and Luthor are walking too at the end of S2E10 or if we see it during season two, but I'd like to theorize that this tower will be bought by Luthor and used for Lexcorp. Not only could Lex have taken some tech here, but also he could have gotten anything he lost back from Task Force X when working with him. In the lab we see many things. We know the main parasite tech is made off of Zero day kryptonian tech. They show a bunch of suit parts around the lab, but all of these seem generally rigid and dry unlike the suit itself which seems almost alive once itās activated with the way it grows and stretches. There are some suits that also seem to have this more stretchy alive quality to them! THE TUBE SUITS!!!
NOW WE'RE TALKING! SO! At 13:15 we see the tube suits for the first time! These suits have the same dangly seemingly more organic bits that the parasite suit Ivo wears does. From what we see in this episode I find it reasonable to believe they are using these tubes to grow these tech pieces in the same way that the parasite suit grows while on a human host. Letting the suits grow in these animated growth tubes before harvesting their parts to study. The pods are simulating the KRYPTONIAN TECHS growth. THE PODS ARE GROWING KRYPTONIAN TECH!!! And you know who is said in S2E2 (Im pretty sure? It might be E1 Iāll have to check) that HE was the one to build the parasite suit and do these studies and even in this episode seems to be the one to know everything about them? LEX!!!Ā
AND at the end of this episode (19:43 to be exact) the suits in the tubes and all the tech outside the tubes are gone, the tubes are still there! Of course Kon is a tube baby in the comics (and Tim tried to use tubes to clone Kon back to life (GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL)) as well as in the reign of the superman movie Kon is cloned by Lex in tubes under his tower and has squishy pre his success brothers who are mushy goop monsters like the parasite suit!
Like I presented before this tower could be the very tower to eventually become Lexcorps main office! We see Lex in it again later this season even when Vicky Vale is interviewing him in S1E8! This tower seems to have some meaning to him or more likely still has valuable research of his like these tubes in there and so it would make sense for him to repurchase it with the help of Waller! If itās already in his name too it would make it so he would still have it even after seemingly cutting ties with Waller in S2E10 (although it also seems Waller has been let off Task Force X and so Slade and Lexās little partnership might be them using Task Force X for their own anyways. Anyways, since we already see these pods growing kryptonian seemingly organic (or at least organic like) material, we can logically say (in their world at least) it might be able to grow a Kryptonian! This also goes with the fact that we learn in S2E8 (I'm pretty sure this is a thing) that Kryptonians aren't born, they're created! And although I feel Kon will NOT be full kryptonian we can chalk that up to Lex not having the full materials and knowing the process (or maybe just making clones cause that's its own thing).Ā SO this could be a perfect way to introduce the boy in especially with Lex!Ā
Also as I mentioned earlier Ivo has some of the same characteristics of Kon (cocky, woman looker (ITS OK HE DONT KNOW AND HE WILL GET BETTER OK ITS CAUSE HE DOESN'T KNOW AND I THINK HE FEELS VERY BAD AFTER HES JUST BABY OK HE WAS BORN YESTERDAY HE WILL STOP ONCE HE REALIZES! HE WAS BORN INTO A BODY WITH RAGING TEEN HORMONES AND NO ONE TO TELL HIM HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM), can get snappy sometimes, sarcastic) And although some people are just that way, as mentioned in my little mini rant Kon was born like, yesterday. And habits like that are normally learned and although he probably gets some of them from Lex and Slade if they are the ones to make him (+ whatever they show him to give him brain knowledge + DNA whatever) itās also possible that those characteristics are also partially because of the tech! (ITS STILL HIM EITHER WAY HE IS HE HE WAS BORN THIS WAY IM JUST SUGGESTING THIS AS A REASON LIKE HOW THE REIGN OF THE SUPERMAN MOVIE SAID IT WAS CAUSE THE OTHER SCIENTIST LET HIM WATCH 90āS CARTOONS WHICH WAS SUCH A CUTE WAY TO LET HIM BE 90āS HUMOR AND I LOVE THEM OR IT PLS DO THAT TOO MAWS IT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!!!) Lex mentions how the tech causes out of control aggression in the tests. Anthony already seems to have been aggressive and bratty before (and although I partially think this was just him) it could also be some side effects of the tech. He canāt be all angry and blank faced (COUGH COUGH TEEN TITANS 2003 COMIC AND YOUNG JUSTICE TV SHOW! LET HIM BE SASSY BRATTY ANGRY!!! (Idk if those descriptions make sense but like I really want his personality to match his original one (and they one they gave him back in modern comics) instead of the one he had in the 2000ā and early 2010ās) He can be angry and sassy and arrogant and bratty and all that and I will love him and I think it gives a good explanation to why with him like I said being born YESTERDAY!Ā
I also think it could make a very silly scene (they will not do this Iāve just had this idea for a while cause I think itās funny subversion of expectations) where when whoever finds Kon finds him (I want it to be the News kid legion cause I love the idea of them sneaking off on Jimmy to go get dirt on Lexcorp cause maybe they hear Jimmy and Lois talking about how Lexcorpās actions will hurt Clark/Superman (either identity works) so the NKL sneak into their tower and end up finding baby boy Kon and freeing him and then get back to the planet and Jimmy Clark and Lois are like THAT WAS DANGEROUS WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?!?! And NKL is like we are sorryā¦ Can yall call superman for us? Them three like ā¦ Whyā¦ And NKL moves over to reveal Kon and they all go O.O WHAT?!??!)
But if its NOT the NKL and is Clark (cause this only really works with Clark or maybe Lois being VERY tactile) But they're sneaking around and they find Kon, but heās angry and T Shirt Kon Young justice show/2003 teen titans personality and weāre like NOOOOOO and heās just punching and jumping so its like he cant even fly and weāre like ITS THE YOUNG JUSTICE SHOW ALL OVER AGAIN and then Clark (or more likely Lois cause this seems to be how episodes go) Notices some tech thing either on him or in the room and breaks it and all of a sudden Kon goes from rigid angry boy to confused guy and then Clark tries to take the opportunity to talk him down but Kon flys to the other side of the room and makes some quip and Clark and Lois are like ?????? and then he acts like THE RIGHT WAY FOR KON TO ACT BEST BOY Kon the rest of the show!Ā
Well normal best boy sassy arrogant but kindhearted and wants to do good and be better Kon for the rest of the show unless Lex and Slade murder brainwash him which ik we saw with Kara last season, but it fits Lex and Slade so well and it is a thing from the comics (Teen Titans ā03 25 26 or something like that) and would be so silly (I LOVE POSSESSION AND MIND CONTROL AND BRAINWASHING) and also would be fun if they try to break it like Karaās, but it doesn't work and they have to reevaluate and do something else to free him or EVEN BETTER Kara has a character ark where she feels really bad about what she did under her āfather'sā brainwashing and one of her arks over the story is her coming to terms that itās not her fault and her getting to see Kon being controlled and not wanting him to feel the same guilt helps him break it/ not blame himself and in terms comes to accept it wasn't her fault either!Ā
ACTUALLY LOVE THAT KARA PLOT AND REALLY HOPE I PREDICTED THAT CAUSE ITS SUCH A FUN CHARACTER ARK OR THEM AND WOULD BE SUCH A CUTE BONDING SCENE AND ALSO GIVES A NOT REPETITIVE FEELING TO THE POSSESSION/ MIND CONTROL/ BRAINWASHING AND LOVE THAT TROP AND WANNA SEE MY BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY SUFFER THOUGH IT!!!Ā
When Ivo comes out to reveal the parasite suit at 14:36 he says āYou can become your own supermanā which would be a fun thing for Lex to parody in season three maybe if he runs into Ivo (cause Iād love to see an interaction between them that would be so fun with their history) with Lex saying something like āI created my own supermanā Or something else like that!
Also maybe they could reexplain some of the parasite's abilities, like he has an invisible field around him that allows him to absorb the energy and that's what gets reworked in Kon to his TTK!!! It could also give the opportunity to tweak parasiteās powers to be somewhat more similar to the comics, but I donāt really mind them being what they are to be honest. At 16:09 he states āthe parasite 1.0 gives him strength, speed and durability equal to hisā (the his is superman) and Kon has those things too (In his own way with TTK) so it could be explained like I said that the parasite was the basis for TTK or had some of his own and that was better developed later when they made Kon! Also at 17:57 Ivo looks up at Lois and Jimmy in the booth and it zooms in. This is probably just a cool camera angle thing, but it could also be X-ray vision, a power that although Kon doesnāt have at the beginning in the comics, but he does have the genetic markers to grow into it as he does later in life!

At 1:04 we see this reaction to Jimmyās theories. As all of Jimmyās theories have been right and Batman is kinda an urban legend in the dc world so it makes sense he would theorize about him. We already theorised Bruce would exist, but this could lead to him showing up (I love what I saw some people saying that maybe we see Bruce, but as Bruce Wayne and not Batman and I really love that and I think that could be such a fun approach! Especially for a silly more news related plot for them to be at a Wayne gala and Vicky is probably there and they have to go against her! Also I think it would be funny if Jimmy I like OMG YOUR FROM GOTHAM DO YOU KNOW BATMAN and Bruce is likeā¦. Batman isnāt real or makes fun of him or something idk. I just think Jimmy the cryptic fanatic Olsen and Bruce basically is a cryptic Wayne would be funny!

Tim would probably find Kon very annoying at first and it would be so cute and AGGHHHH TIMKON!!!! I want Kon toĀ have Bart and Cassie and Timmmmm (I don't think they would yet, but Tim and Kon need be same age and Batman is like an urban legend so it would make sense If just no one has heard of him and in this world theyāve just stayed more secretive (How did Nightwing get his name without Clark (although Jimmy just came up with the name flamebird without Clark knowing it so I could see him just having it) and Batman not kill joker after Jason without superman there? Idk just go with my delusions I want Timkon)) And him and Kon could be cute and agghhhhh THEN THEY DO MY ADVENTURES WITH YOUNG JUSTICE (THAT WOULD GO SO HARD)Ā
At 6:41 we see a post on Loisās phone about superman! If you look closely this post was made by the NKL! The NKL are the ones who freed Kon in the comics as I mentioned and although I find it WAY more likely they use Flamebird for any social media stuff (especially since the NKL are the new interns and on Jimmyās team for Flamebird), it's still something to look out for for potential NKL Kon theories!Ā

LETS GO!!!! For people who haven't seen there was a new clip for season 3 that adult swim posted on there Twitter today and OMG!!! Spoilers under the keep reading thing!
OK SO! CLONES!!! Ive been saying this forever and talk about it a bunch in my everything in the trailer that could point to Kon thing that I really need to post on here at some point, but omg!!!
I've been on the him being a clone over him being from the future thing I've seen people throw around so I really hope this means that he is a clone since I think there are so many interesting things they can do with that and it is true to the comics! Also them using kryptonian DNA means they are most likely going with the newer origin with him having half Clark DNA and most likely other Half Lex MAYBE someone else, but I feel most likely it will still involve Lex over the original Paul Westfield origin! I think this is gonna be so interesting especially since in MAWS Lex and Clark haven't really interacted much so I'm really excited to see what their relationship is gonna be and how Kon will factor into it! Also I really hope they do still give Kon his TTK. I think it's such a cool and fun power and I really wanna see it outside the comics! At least we know he can fly and be a little floaty boy!!! That made me so happy seeing him hovering around Clark and Lois in the trailer!
I also think this makes it quite likely the guy we see at like 12 seconds into the trailer is a clone of some kind! Possibly even the MAWS version of Bizarro! I think it would be so cool to see how Kon interacts with the other clones especially since you could pull from so many fun interactions with like how he interacts with Match in the comics!
I feel like this is likely gonna lead to them finding or freeing Kon from his tube or where ever he is being kept which makes me so happy! In some of my other analysis I talk about the News Kid Legion freeing him since they do in the comics, but this works great to and makes me very happy especially if this is really early in the season (I talk more about that next paragraph) since that just means we get more time with Kon and the more Kon time the better in my opinion!
Also Jimmy and Kara's silly little outfits that don't seem like there normal outfits make me hope this is maybe even episode 1 with the little summary we got mentioning halloween being episode 1 maybe these are there costumes (Jimmy having a long brown overcoat thing makes me thing John Constantine, but the yellow tie is throwing me off and I don't think he would be like a known guy in the MAWS universe so). ANYWAYS! This could mean we get Kon in episode 1 and that would be so hype cause it would hopefully mean we get to see him more across the season so yay!!!
I'm so excited to see what they do with Kon and just all of season 3 I love this story and these characters and I'm SO excited that its so soon!!!
HI!!! So I'm putting the image and my thoughts about the spoilers under the keep reading bar incase this comes up on someones feed and they don't wanna see it, but adult swim has a schedule for the coming weeks of their channel and it just got to the point where the 13th of June (Maws S3 release day) is on that schedule so we get to see the episode summary!
Ok so thats the blurb on the adult swim schedule, and now here are my thoughts (There are spoilers for the season 3 trailer and other promotional material in there so BE WARNED!!!)
So we've known the episode title for a while now, but now we get a place on the timeline (That being halloween) as well as some little blurbs about the episode! Yay!!!
I really hope Clark's new friend is Kon just because I love him and am biased and the bizarre adventure (Jojo's reference?) could point to the cloning lab if they potentially have a bizarro clone there too that could be a previous attempt at cloning khryptonians before they made Kon! I also think that the guy we see fighting Clark in the trailer at around the 12 second mark could be a version of bizarro or at least some other kryptonian clone and the location they are in definitely looks bizarre so it could be that as the location for episode 1! The season 2 trailer had a lot of clips from episodes 1 and 2 so I think this season could easily be the same and I'd love for them to have Kon early in the season and especially since they said they would be complicating his character across the season I feel like they need to introduce him early on.
Also I really hope they get halloween costumes cause that would be so sweet and I'd love to see what they all dress up as! I feel like Jimmy showing Kara what halloween is and them trying to find her a costume or something or doing a costume all together could be very sweet! Either the four of them dressing up together or Lois and Clark and Kara and Jimmy each doing a pairs costume! Or them doing individual ones, cause I could definitely see Jimmy doing some conspiracy theory one of dressing up like a cryptid or maybe even Batman as that guy is an urban legend and Jimmy already seems to have a Batman theory video on flame bird as it's one of the videos we see Steve'S NAH account debunking. Also I love that Sam's back and am excited to see him and Lois together again and am wondering how they are gonna build on that relationship and If he Is gonna figure out Clark is superman this season!
My Adventures With Superman Season 3 Poster Analysis!
HI! Iām Mars and I LOVE theorizing! Iāve been writing My Adventures With Superman theories for months now and although I plan on posting those here too (even the ones that have been disproven) today Iām just doing some theories based on the new poster (the one released May 14th)! So please expect spoilers for My Adventures With Superman Seasons 1 and 2 as well as all the new Promo for season 3 released May 14th or before! I might mention other things here and there from comics or other media, but Iām staying away from anything really spoiler-y as much as I can and for the like one thing I do talk about more in depth I put the name of the series in big letters at the start of the paragraph or before the spoiler so if you don't want spoilers for that just skip to the next paragraph!
Anyways this is my ideas I came up with from the poster and if anyone reading this has more ideas, any questions or wants to build off of the ideas I put here or anything like that I would love to hear anyone else's thoughts as I love this show and these characters so VERY dearly and love getting to talk to people about them!Ā

So this is the poster I'm talking about!
Ok so unlike most of the other theories I plan to post on here, these theories are more general and overall story theories / Lex theories than Kon specific, although I do really like what these theories could mean for Kon in the show and I do end up talking about him quite a bit cause favoritism! The just of these theories was mostly made cause when I saw the poster my first reaction was being sad there was no Kon and then confused cause why do we have no Kon and two Lexās??? Cause I know a lot of people are excited for Kon and heās been brought up a bunch in the other promo stuff so why him not being on the poster is surprising. Especially when like I said another character is on it TWICE! And heās not even the main character! Sure heās very fun and probably one of if not the main villain this season along with Cyborg Superman, but if anyone would be on the poster twice you would think it would be Clark or something! So that got me thinking. What if he isn't on the poster twice? What if there are two Lexās. So yeah this post is basically just gonna be me throwing out my main theories on how there could be two Lexās and how the different versions could affect the show and Konās creation (cause I have to include Kon in there somewhere!!!).
IM DIFFERENTIATING LEXāS BY:
Our Lex: This name refers to the Lex we saw in seasons 1 and 2. Whether he has been the imposter all along or is the original depends on the theory, but the statement āour Lexā will always be me referring to the Lex we have been seeing up until this point in the show.
Hair Lex: This name refers to the Lex we see in the trailer and on the poster with the long brown hair. Whether he is the same as our Lex from the previous seasons differs from theory to theory so this statement will be me specifically referring to just the version of Lex we see with hair in the promo for season 3. If a specific theory connects this Lex to being our Lex it will be stated in the theory.
Bald Lex: This name refers to the Lex we see in the villain teaser from forever ago and on the poster who is bald. Whether he is the same as our Lex from the previous seasons differs from theory to theory so this statement will be me specifically referring to just the version of Lex we see whoās bald in the promo for season 3. If a specific theory connects this Lex to being our Lex it will be stated in the theory.
Ok before we get into the individual theories I wanna say that no matter what I think the true Lex is the bald one and long brown hair eye bag one we see getting decked by Lois in the trailer is the imposter (for theories with an imposter Lex). Whether the hair Lex or the bald Lex are our Lex depends on the theory, but I believe the bald Lex will probably be the real one. It could be the other way around? I just donāt see it being as much since I feel like bald Lex is gonna be either the main Lex going forwards or they both will be. Like I donāt see them bringing in bald Lex then havingĀ him leave right after. Anyways! Without further ado ITāSĀ THEORY TIME!!!
Shapeshifter
Ok so this is probably my least favorite of my theories, but I thought of it and it technically could work? Idk I just donāt think it fits as well or packs as much of a punch as the theories later on this list. So the just of this theory is that one of the two Lexās is a shapeshifter in disguise. Now like i mentioned before I think itās hair Lex that is the imposter so then our Lex is bald Lex and probably knows about the imposter, but is the one to create or employ him to take his place so he can do stuff in the background. One of the reasons I donāt like this theory as much is we really donāt have any good candidates for who the shapeshifter would be. Sure it could be a character thatās just introduced this season since Iād imagine our Lex has always been our Lex and the imposter just took his place this season/ in between season 2 and 3 (since it seems at least a bit of time has passed like the 2 and a half months between seasons 1 and 2, but maybe even longer this time), but for that I feel like we will need to establish him before the reveal and it would have just hit harder if we were already introduced to the shapeshifter before. SUre we could have and they were just in disguise then too, but that also doesnāt feel as good. The only shapeshifter we have met is Mxyzptlk and this doesnāt feel like something he would do as much from what we saw of him in S1.Ā
Future
So this is basically my take on the whole āsuperboy from the future thingā but with adding Lex in there. I still think itās Kon though because as much as I love him I would be very disappointed if this character who is so Kon in personality and actions and design and everything ends up being Jon. So basically this idea is that bald Lex is our Lex, but in the future. Hair Lex is also our Lex, but from our current time whereas bald Lex is from a future timeline. Basically for whatever reason (maybe to try to destroy the aliens while theyāre still very new heros) Lex comes back in time to the present day. In this theory I think itās possible Kon also comes back with him (either as his puppet created to help him infiltrate and take down the aliens or a hero from that time come back to try to stop him (although I feel like the ladder is less likely unless they come from an apocalyptic future where Kon never got to meet Clark and Lois really, but then youād guess the supers would be dead so why is Lex coming back? To save them?)). But anyways now they're back in time and causing chaos, but their meddling (or maybe they are just from an already parallel future) means they make it so the future is different now or something? Idk I just don't really like this cause it makes me think a lot of Bart (my beloved) and also idk if setting up a whole time travel plot would be good for the show idk. I do think it would be fun if their from the future to allow Kon to make references and stuff to other comic stuff and specifically his team (core four young justice my beloved) and that could be fun as well as just be a good set up for a lot of jokes and comedy with him messing up on acting like heāS from here. It could also be the reason for the watch looking thing around his wrist seen in the trailer, but I have many other theories about what that could be in other theories here and in my Kon theories from the trailer. Honestly I think it would be better to just stick with a plot in this world or if they have to go from a different time type root my next idea has more set up and makes more sense for the show.
Portal
Ok so portal theory! This is mostly based on a really old idea my bestie @heliomuse came up with and we built on together back in January where maybe Kon comes into the show through the portal in Cadmus (you know connecting him back to Cadmus like he is in the comics) or even could have some connection to the League of Lois Lanes. Now this was waaay before the two Luthors came in so this gives us a potential reason for why this Kon came through the portal. Maybe the bald Lex (or hair Lex, but to me that makes less sense) came to the Maws earth (called Earth-12 in S1E7) for whatever reason and Kon came after him to get him back to his proper earth. This could also be a fun way to bring the League of Lois Lanes back into the show or maybe this could be another consequence of Mallah and Brain jumping around dimensions and maybe Lex slipped through one of their portals when they came back to our dimension like Mxyzptlk did back in season 1. Anyways this would give the same opportunity with funny Kon stuff as in the future theory as well as having some of the same problems with the fact it leaves him feeling less connected to the main cast as he isn't even from this world and would have his own version of the other character and means he probably won't stay after this season. It would also mean we get an older, more experienced version of the character, which isnāt a bad thing per say, but I also love seeing Kon mess up and grow and I feel starting with him as a fresh tube baby gives him even more of an opportunity for that. Also I love his original ark from Reign of the Superman and although we got a version of it in The Reign of the Superman movie I feel even that was missing a lot from the original (especially with how much that movie focused on fighting scenes rather than characters for the most part) and I feel like Maws has a golden opportunity to give us actual full early Kon backstory and development that we haven't really gotten to see in media outside the comics before. Anyways I think this could be really really fun, but the biggest thing for me would be the ability to mention Young Justice and all that and I think it would be even better if we get a newly made Kon in Maws and then he gets super popular and we get a YJ show of itās own or just more comics of them cause I miss them.
Clone
My bestie @artemisstrixx called me so I could show her the trailer and tell her some of my theories and she brought up a fun theory that I had thought about too, which is what if one of these two Lexās on the poster is a clone? We of course have our boy Kon coming in this season and with that Lex will probably be the one to clone, but to do so he probably had many other attempts. Now as Artemis brought up a really interesting point that is in real life cloning, Dolly the sheep had a lot of the same issues as the sheep she was cloned from and basically was at that age shortly after being created and then rapidly aged into death. Maybe Lex was trying to create clones of himself either to fix an issue he had or because he wanted to have them there to replace him when he dies to continue on his work, but the clones aged and died too quickly. One of them escaped becoming the other Lex in the photo (possibly the younger one weāve been following this whole show) and then the true Lex continued on his research on cloning. The clones would have all of his memories and basically work as a new vessel for him to be in once he died or just more hands to work around his lab and run more experiments on. He then either finds out about or had already been experimenting on kryptonian tech and comes to the conclusion that kryptonians can live longer and decides to splice in some of supermans (or just some kryptonian dna from zero day, but I prefer it being Clarks) into his cloning process to try to stop the rapid aging. Inadvertently this also makes it so that this clone doesnāt have the memories of the previous Lex (maybe gains them a bit in time, but I prefer he doesn't have any) and just makes him into his own person. He still has the implemented knowledge Lex had been putting into his clones for whatever reason, but he is his own freshly made boy! Either this or Lex was gonna put his memories and whatever inside him, but Kon either escapes or is freed before he has the chance to gain them. Perhaps this is also why he is younger, although it's also possible he was just made to be younger so he would live in his prime longer.Ā
SPOILER ALERT FOR SEASON 10 OF SMALLVILLE! This is all very reminiscent of the Alexander clones in season 10 of Smallville with the whole putting Clarkās DNA in to stop the rapid aging being an idea I pulled directly from said series! I think itās a cool way to explain in Kon especially with a younger Clark and Clark not dying for reign to happen like in Smallville. Our main Alexander clone we follow in the series also goes by Alexander before he changes to go by Lex after the memories come in and although I think the maws Luthor we have been following didnāt have memories of his childhood if he is the clone, he did go by Alex until S2E2 so it could be a fun parallel!
Now I think it could also work that Kon was his attempt to make his own superman army and having to add some human DNA to fix issues he was having. Maybe the big guy attaching Clark at the start (like 11 seconds in) of the trailer is some version of a Bizzaro type clone made from pure kryptonian DNA that wasn't smart enough for what Lex needed of him so he adds in his own DNA and that makes Kon (although I feel itās more likely heās just blockbuster or someone else like that). This could also maybe lead to Lex being unsure of the project and then when Cyborg Superman comes along he decides to go with that plan instead of Kon and then leaves him in the tube or maybe Cyborg Superman comes first, but he wonāt listen to Lex as much so he makes Kon in an attempt to have a Superman of his own he can control. This does not go as planned as Kon is Kon and is gonna be even more annoying and hard to work with as Cyborg Superman, but good try Lex! Either way I feel like Lex doesnāt use Kon because he changes projects or more likely Kon just isnāt ready yet (maybe he was planning on growing him into an adult superman and then he gets freeād before heās fully grown) and so when the supers come along he joins them instead. I also feel Kon might be out but just still being studied and trained and then our main characters find him and he goes with them or they free him from the tube and he just follows them. Idk! We could also have Lex have Kon made and showing him off and then Kon leaves him later for the superās once he realises Lex isnāt a good guy and that he actually wants to help people and save people more than the fame and limelight of being a hero which I do really like from the original Reign of the Supermen story, but Iām not sure if thatās what were gonna get considering we havenāt seen him with Lex in any of the promo we have (although to be fair its like 5 seconds from the trailer and a few other images or words in an interview), but we do see him fighting Cyborg Superman who does seem to be with Lex (With the L on his chest and the fact he has tech that seems very Lex-y) and so at least during the series he will change sides. Idk and I have so much more to say on how Kon could be introduced, but I have multiple other analyses on Kon in maws specifically I plan to post on here so Iāll talk more about those there hopefully!!!
NOW! If this is true a big question becomes which Lex is our Lex then? Now most people would probably think hair Lex will be our Lex since heās the one that's had importance for the story so far. In my opinion it could actually go either way and I think Iāve come up with a solid theory for both!Ā
If our Lex is the one to make the clone I think our Lex shaved his head and the clone Lex is made to still have hair. Maybe as my one bestie @geo-lilypad said Clark or the others are the reason he loses his hair cause that could be very silly. But anyways if our Lex made the clone I feel like the clone will not know he is a clone and only bald Lex (whoās our Lex) and maybe Slade will know the truth. This could lead to some fun stuff with maybe why Slade let hair Lex get punched by Lois (But that could also just be Slade being Slade) because he knows heās not our Lex and is testing the clone for something. It could be a cool twist that the Lex we have been following all season 3 (hair Lex) isn't the same Lex from seasons 1 and 2.Ā
As much as I think that our Lex we have been following across the series being the not real Lex is something could end with people feeling very bad and make people feel like he isn't as impactful to the story, I think there is a way for this to be done well. So this would mean our Lex (who is hair Lex in this theory) we have been following has been a clone since we first saw him in S1E4 or even the one panel we see with him in the tie in comics (which that panel I assume from context has to be before S1E4 even if not by much). This would give the non clone Lex (bald Lex) a lot more time and practice studying clones so he would have probably been working on Kon for longer. This could have some really fun implications, but as said before it could also make Lex feel like he matters less and doesnāt impact the story as much since he hasnāt been here the whole time in his true form. But what if he has? Ok so there technically multiple ways this could go with multiple people bald Lex could be, but I have one idea in particular I made this theory off of. What if Lex is the head of / is Checkmate? Now for those who arenāt sure who Checkmate is, it's the higher ups at the government that watch over things like Task Force X or, before it went away, Cadmus. Now I donāt think they would give Lex and Clark that big of an age difference so I donāt think he would have been the head from the start, but he could be or he could just be someone who built his way up and took over during the years. I actually kinda like him being there from the beginning tho and helping to build a lot of the tech we have seen in the series and giving the calls to Task Force X and all that over the show which would give him impact to the story. It would also answer the question of who is checkmate since in the comics Iām pretty sure Waller herself made it, but she also made Task Force X whereas she was second fiddle to Sam in Maws so clearly theyāre ok to change that up and clearly they have. If he had only ever been known as Checkmate too it would explain why Amanda didnāt recognize Lex as Checkmate, or if there is a big age difference. That or maybe she never even met him and we will see Sam meeting Lex next season and he will be confused and that's how the characters find out. As Checkmate would have also been observing Cadmus before its fall it could also lead to them being involved in the creation of Kon, although this could also happen since Task Force X knows where Cadmus is and went there to get stuff before as seen in S1E6 so itās entirely possible Lex gets access to some of their experiments then too and uses them to make Kon.
Anyways I just love this show and these characters and the 2 Lexās on the poster were weird to me so I wanted to talk about it! Will any of these be remotely close to true? NO! I mean theres so many other theories like Kon being Lexās puppet to infiltrate to main cast or if they do a plot with him being all famous and in the limelight like in the comics, but those could go with these or be their own thing and maybe itās just Lex who shaves his head or loses his hair that's the real most likely thing. I just think itās fun to theorize and think of what could have been! I canāt wait for the new season and especially to see my guy Kon and I really hope he is a clone made by Lex, but am also willing to see them take it in fun new ways as long as they stay true to the character and his personality (which from what weāve gotten so far they seem to be)! I plan on posting more of my theories here so hopefully at least someone on this silly little side of the internet thinks itās cool or fun or something!
