she was SO excited to meet another kyrptonian and, understandably, he'd rather spend time with his parents 💔

but I hate seeing kara sad 🥺

hopefully this isn't foreshadowing for whatever happened to Kara in the future. like, surely she doesn't die before jon is born, or leave earth after lois&clark die. like, surely she probably just served as a parental figure for jon in some way during his lifetime & since he knows her so well bc of that, he's more interested in getting to know his parents right?
